Maybe he should hire someone to be show runner with the proviso that Gunn makes most of the big decisions and has final say.

Probably not a problem since the Amanda Waller TV Series will come out before Peacemaker Season 2, so they can just add any characters they want to keep in the show to that production, that can at least keep them busy/under contract, until the  Peacemaker production starts. It is the fans and the momentum that is taking a huge hit.

James Gunn has finished writing the scripts for 7 of the 8 episodes of Peacemaker Season 2.

Peacemaker makes it to Mortal Kombat 1.

I think the biggest disappointment is that we didn’t get the opening credits done by MK characters We do have some severe aggression, as well as Eagly used to attack opponents. Also, all characters have two Fatalities, so who knows what that will look like.
