A few articles to get you up to speed about what this show Them AKA: Them: Covenant is about.

Amazon Prime’s horror anthology series Them has added new supporting cast members Brooke Smith (Bombshell),  Anika Noni Rose (Power), P.J. Byrne (Black Lightning), Malcolm Mays (Snowfall), Jeremiah Birkett (Lucifer) and Sophie Guest (The Good Nanny). The series comes from executive producer Lena Waithe (Queen & Slim) and writer Little Marvin. The supporting cast joins lead actors Deborah Ayorinde (Luke Cage) and Ashley Thomas (Top Boy).

Them: Covenant is set in 1953 and follows Henry and Lucky Emory as they move from North Carolina to an all-white neighborhood in Los Angeles. Henry begins working as the first black engineer in a newly integrated aeronautics plant. While some of the horror comes from the racist rage of their neighbors and co-workers, the family is also tormented by supernatural forces beyond their understanding.

Smith will play the realtor who moves the couple into the neighborhood, Rose will play a housewife of another pioneering black family, Byrne will be Henry’s patronizing new boss, and Mays will play Henry’s friendly co-worker.
