  1. Well, I don't have anything to share right now that can help defuse that (incorrect) suspicion.... I also have zero leads on clues, like, at all.
  2. Not a show watcher, but Shining stood out to me way more than pansy or honeypot. Also, FYI I'm going to be scarce the next day or so (college reunion!). I'm not going to cast a formal no-lynch vote, but I often go that way anyway so consider that the default unless someone posts a convincing argument and I happen to be able to check in on it....
  3. Yeah, okay: Lisin CP Jesse saoirse caprice Dougal
  4. Yay! Clarification: @Drogo is doing the next One-Night Ultimate Werewolf game, which may or may not be before the next proper Mafia game, to be run by @TJtrack99 and @Lady Calypso. If you want to catch up on either kind of game, the index might be useful. :) slinks back to his paper deadline that he flew to London for, for some reason
  5. Seems like the fancy new forums don't let you pin posts (at least for now), so I moved the current-game index to this thread instead of leaving it on page 33. Also, the new forums let me actually edit the monster post! :)
  6. That is absolutely not what we're doing, and moreover, it doesn't even make sense. As we said, we're targeting TJ, so hopefully our comrade-in-murder will be targeting a non-TJ hero (you're all the same at this point). If we were going to betray her, that would leave it at two heroes and two villains – but the heroes would still have an extra vote, and they'd DL one of us tomorrow. If we were going to do that, we'd have her target TJ. But, as honorable villains, we're not doing that. We recognize that a1 could cost us the game at this point, and out of respect for her not doing that, will happily play for a draw with her. After all, some of us have respect for contracts, verbal or otherwise.
  7. In your summary of the situation just now, everyone other than you is a either a villain or an (oh-so-useful-at-this-point) investigator. Good luck with that protection.
  8. I have a counter-offer to Bob's suggestion. Let's make this happen:
  9. Ahhhh, I see I can finally be honest about who I am. Serial killer: talkin' to you now. (As Silver said, we know who you are, but you know, can't give that away to the plebs just yet.) Guess how many villains are left, including Silver? So, if you kill me toNight, then it's just you and the heroes, and do you see that going well for you? Especially with so many absolutely-positively-confirmed Heroes? I sure don't. Time to keep killing heroes, SK, keep a little mystery about who you might be, keep yourself in the game. :)
  10. I had a terrible travel day today (way too little sleep, flights with middle seats with armrest-grabbing neighbors while I tried to squeeze my way onto my laptop to get some tight-deadline work done) – but it seems like it worked out, probably? Not sure what to think about all this SK stuff, but really don't understand why OB would say she knows who the SK is but not reveal it – if they believe her, seems to have all the downsides of coming out with it with no upsides....
  11. Well, it's been 12 hours.... 1 to DL MarkHB (Dougal) 7 to slowly, slowly march towards a conclusion
  12. 4 to DL BizBuzz (Lady Calypso, The Crazed Spruce, CP, Dougal) 5 to finish what Woodward and Bernstein started
  13. wat. Here's the thread. They don't even have stories to pore over for a year, and the only power is one investigator.
  14. Good idea! It let me split the post out, but not edit it down. In terms of the actual game (sorry about that interlude): Building off what Bob said yesterDay and we didn't pay enough attention to, to recap: D4 we DL Biz, to no apparent effect D5 we DL Mark, to no apparent effect D6 we DL MMCS, succesfully D7 we DL Biz, killing Agnew D8 we DL Biz, to no apparent effect So, it seems like this is the most likely situation:D4 Biz is protected from our DL D5 Mark is protected from our DL D6 Biz is protected, letting us DL MMCS D7 Mark is protected, letting us eat up Biz's apparent first life D8 Biz is protected In which case, probably Mark is protected and we should absolutely go for Biz toDay.
  15. Yeah, Avalon/Resistance is pretty fun, but I think it'd be a very different game if you could go back and see the full list of who voted what way in every round.
  16. I agree with the "what the hell" sentiment: 5 to DL BizBuzz (CP, Spruce, Jesse, caprice, Dougal), 4 to catch the burglars 1 to DL The Crazed Spruce (Firearcher), 8 - Too Cryptic
  17. Well, we're getting a lot of information today.... Unless I'm mistaken we have 16 living players, so a majority is just 9. (And now that TJ's back with a double vote, we could maybe theoretically have two successful DLs – that'd be interesting....) So it should be: 2 to DL BizBuzz (CP, Spruce), 7 to finally swat that pesky fly I need to read back a bit before casting my lot in, but we've got some time. ETA: Never mind, we couldn't get a double vote, since that'd take 18 votes and we only have 17. Obviously that would be incredibly unlikely to actually happen anyway.
  18. In that case, I request that we protect everyone but Biz and Mark. Then the villains will have to target themselves!
  19. 9 to DL BizBuzz (Jesse, CP, aquarian1, The Onion Knight, SilverStormm, Athena, caprice, saoirse, Dougal) 0 to go smashing head jars.
  20. Interesting swap...wonder what the story is behind the scenes for that resurrection. egavasc: are there actually no clues in this one or is it a copy-paste mistake again?
  21. 7 to DL MMCS (Silver, OB, caprice, aquarian1, CP, The Onion Knight, Dougal) 2 to actually get to vote this time you guys! 2 to DL OB (MMCS, Biz) 7 to... sock it to me?
  22. Okay, so: we have three villains. What do we know about how important they are to kill, or how killable? Anything?
  23. Oh Hedonismbot. I'm sad you went, but if you had to go, this was the way to do it....
