True, but …i always did makeup at least partly for myself. I rarely go out these days. The elevator, the lobby, doctors appointments! And starting up PT again this week. Makeup for the gym! (My therapist IS kinda cute…)

I have always loved makeup. Didn’t wear it much during the pandemic but have since gotten back into it in a big (and expensive) way. Now it’s my hobby and makes me feel better. Pretty stuff, fun experimenting.

Do you like Moonstone? I hear that Canadian makeup prices are much higher … but in Australia they’re astronomical!

Jones Road is not cheap. It’s also marmite. Love it or hate it usually. I have a couple things. Meh. No shadow sticks.

My super inspected them, had even changed the vents or the valves recently. Historically, the radiators have worked but the board, which controls the computer settings, is stingy with the heat. I don’t know why the living room radiator is completely cold now, and neither does the super. Just another problem in my depressing life.

I have heard those are good. I have only tried Laura Mercier and Victoria Beckham, both pricy. BUT BB is having 25 percent off now … Thrive Eye brighteners (not their shadow sticks) are good but I don’t know if they’re any cheaper these days. Black Friday sales are coming!

My coop building controls the heat and it’s never enough! Supposedly my radiators are okay but have just gotten a tiny bit from the bedroom one, and the living room one is stone cold. So since I pretty much live in my bedroom, I have started to put on my little space heater. After a summer of huge Con Ed bills, just from judicious use of my A/C bedroom window unit, I will now have huge bills for the winter months. And complaining to the board is … complicated.

It just so happens that I am wearing a sample of the new Victoria Beckham perfume, inspired by her memory of Java. I kinda like it.
