  1. This whole thing was sketchy. Jason as a married, gay pastor messing with a young girl...sketchy. Jason messing with young boys...sketchy. I usually feel bad for catfish victims but not this time. He got what he deserved.

I love Kamie! Her facial expressions and shade were killing me this episode. And yes, Dre absolutely looks like a worm with a beard. The pickings must be slim in Shreveport because no one that ugly should be that conceited and full of himself.  Poor Rebecca must have low self-esteem or he must be great in bed. I can't for the life of me see what she saw/sees in that troll.

The whole time he was talking to that Charisma girl, I was grossed out. So glad his sister came out and cut that short. He's so gross. I really hope Rebecca finds someone who really loves her and gets away from this piece of trash.

Isn’t he ugly? And how many random siblings does he have?

    I feel like I won a contest!

I know they were both matched with black women.  What I'm wondering is whether there was any chance they could have been matched with white women--if the contestants are allowed to have non-negotiable terms.

Pastor Cal addressed this a while back. He says that some black guys come looking for white women but not enough white women come in looking for black men to have a big enough pool to match. I’m pretty sure race can be non-negotiable. Several things should be - religion, children - but they tend to brush past those as if they aren’t dealbreakers in real life.

I'm a little troubled.  She'd said she wants to take it slow on the sex front, but he had a full-court press.  Laying out the rose petals made me uneasy.  It would be one thing if they were already having sex and it was a special-occasion or one-off romantic thing, but this looked like a ploy.  She probably wasn't helping things, with taking showers together apparently constantly.

If he'd verbally pressured her for sex, that would be considered bad, and possibly harassment.  I see the rose petals as just a different form of persuasion.  Really, now that I think about it, not that different from getting liquored up, actually.  I just hope it's what she really wanted to do,

I was also pleasantly struck by how they are literally "in tune," and hum/sing/identify each other's songs in a playful way.  (She plays in a band after all, and I am guessing he must be musical too.) I expected to be completely bugged by that but it seems so natural with the two of them.  I'm increasingly convinced that they may already have been dating and are pretending to have barely met.

    Bennett is in the band.

Stacey is there for one reason; Michael has MONEY.  If he were poor she'd be out of there.

I think talking about sex is part of the "experiment."  If the show had any balls, they'd kick both of those poser famewhores out the door.

Stacey didn’t like him at the wedding until her girlfriend told her that Michael owned his own business and looked him up online. Then she was all in. That’s the only reason she is in love now. She had to lay it on thick when she saw him kiki with KC. She might be greasy but she ain’t slick.

i don’t mind Ivan and Aleks not talking about their sex life. I don’t like their attitudes about it. They can just say they are comfortable with their level of intimacy in their relationship and leave it there. Hell, Cathy and Josh were sexual quick but might be in the friend zone now so sex clearly doesn’t keep a relationship intimate.

  7. Stacey and Michael are full of it. Last week she said leave and this week she is madly in love. FOH!!! And they were pure AH to KC and Drew. They are new into this thing and are trying to have their first serious conversation with the experts and these trash boxes are laughing.

i don’t know where Mishel got the impression Steve was telling the cameras he was not attracted to her. Maybe a camera person?? But if that is true, I can see it as a betrayal. Don’t talk to someone else about your wife; talk to your wife. Period. Do I think Steve is that type of guy? No. But that is not my call. That is between them.

    the rear of them....sigh

I love the Australian MAFS.  I like how they have a weekly dinner for the participants ending with a weekly recommitment ceremony where couples can choose to end the relationship that night.    Not sure if having the participants meet weekly and discuss (i.e. compare) their marriages among themselves helps or hurts their decisions to stay together or not, but it sure is interesting.

I like this too. They don’t seem to interact that much outside of the dinners but they may just not be showing it. I like the stay/leave too. I wondered why they had so many couples but they have to if they are going to give people an out every week. I wish the US version really meant it when they say the couples can break up at the half way point. But we might end up with only one couple by the end so maybe not

I was surprised to find myself charmed by their scenes. I am happy for them that they seem to really enjoy each other. I was worried about their dynamic during their season but now I believe that AJ was just stressed out by the production schedule and forced scenarios. They seem to work well together now that the pressure is off. I can see how others could find their contrived shenanigans tiring, but I thought it was cute enough to watch for a few minutes.

(I ffwd through Jamie/Beth and Jamie/Doug, but did pause to watch the covid test because I was curious how the drive through testing works. I even had a bit of empathy for Jamie at first because I would be scared and panicky if I had to do that - and then it dissipated when I witnessed her whining at the technician, saw her wiping tears from her fully caked on face of makeup, and remembered she is a freaking NURSE. I am so, so very over her.)

That q-tip is long and the test is uncomfortable (tears came to my eyes) but Jamie was doing too damn much. She acted like she had just finished her last meal and was on the way to the chair.

I just finished episode 3 and I'm in for the long haul. I think it's interesting that there are older couples, couples with kids, women who aren't movie star gorgeous, and people who have had serious past mistakes.

I like the older couple thing but not the kids. The way Poppy broke down about her kids underscored for me why they shouldn’t select people with kids.

But, like you, I’m all in.

  11. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

i understand Jamie/Doug’s concerns about home births. My friend had 3. The last two were a family affair, house full of “love” from family and friends...not me. I was concerned but everything was great. She bombed with delivery pictures and I almost kicked her! I did NOT need to see the baby making his exit. I’m an adult woman with absolutely no issue with nudity but that was a mile too far.

Keith/Kristine and Greg/Deonna made me smile. So did Jessica/Austin, Anthony/Ashley, and AJ/Stephanie. Solid couples. And I love Keith’s Granny. She is so beautiful.

i love Shawniece and Jephte. I think they are a real family, working to make it work. I see real love and affection there. Of course they will have bumps in the road but I think they are committed. And Laura and KeKe are the cutest.

I know Danielle and Ricky Bobby will make the right decision. They are mature.

Jamie and Big Red...nothing has changed. They are nuts. Completely. I know this is UO but I find Jamie attractive. His smile!

  12. I have questions about how the pick their candidates and whether they are ever grouped together. That is why the US version has always said no to same sex...hard logistics.

I’m not a fan of the single parent thing bc how do you spring a whole stepparent on a kid? Especially, in Poppy’s case, on 2.5 year olds. “Here is your new dad Paul Bunyun boys! He’s moving in!” Negative! I don’t think they will make it though so it may be moot. I really like him though.

the other husband is super cute. That’s all I got for now. Wife annoyed tf out of me but I have hopes.

the lesbian couple looks attractive together. I like them separately so I hope I like them together. I hope they like each other too.

I read he also claimed she had deceived him, and that was the main issue, not the not consummated part.

I read on FB that he is a devout Catholic and she is agnostic so that is the issue he has with the show. They knew he was religious and put him with someone who is not a believer. IRL most religious people would NOT marry a non-believer.

i don't expect to  see this series again.

I wish  that they had chosen a better way to wrap up their story.

I actually think it was perfect. They left it open with a new killer for next season. The Lincoln Rhyme series (see above) is extensive and has many killers to chase. The TV series is different enough to keep it interesting.

And as far as Siletto needing to be more situationally aware, yeah, that was disappointing. As was Eric stopping in the middle of nowhere. That was a horrible piece of the plot bc NO ONE does that!

  15. I LOVED all the collections!! I’m so happy for Geoffrey! Not my style but I think he rocked it for what he was trying to accomplish. Victoria’s was my favorite in terms of what I prefer but I was ok with her not winning. Actually I would been fine with anyone winning. This has been my favorite finale since Christian won I think.

  16. I didn’t watch the design process but I loved (for the most part) the collections. I loved both final looks even though I wouldn’t wear either (couldn’t?). Daniel’s was more wearable/real world. Minju’s was an “experience”. Definitely not my style but I really enjoyed watching it come down the runway as a collection.

    i love Minju’s sister.

i hope next season (please!) they come as individuals and get matched on the show. I think some coming in as teams have an unfair advantage.

The plaid Gwen Stefani look was way too vulgar for me.  There were 2 looks this season that showed side-vagina and I really don't like it.  This was one of them.

    I don't like it!!

On season one of ANTM the first thing they did was get a Brazilian wax so I assume that is the norm.

I’m glad Ferrari and Kiki are finally gone. They were in the bottom almost every single challenge.  And despite their dramatic outburst in the last judging, I don’t think racism had anything to do with it.  I don’t doubt they’ve encountered racism/obstacles in real life, but on this show, most of the judges (and most of the contestants, come to think of it) are people of color. Or at least a good portion are.  It doesn’t seem like a case of anyone underestimating them because of their race. In fact I think they used that issue to manipulate the results of the last episode to keep themselves from going home.  The reality is, they just made bad decisions (mainly Kiki, with her insistence on raw edges in the last challenge and no underwire in this one).  Their designs were the least successful.  Bye!

Look, if you see anything other than WHITE white, you have probably experienced some kind of racism or discrimination. The only discrimination these two sisters have experienced have been from people who hate terrible clothes. Oh, wait.....

  19. Julian and Hayley should have sent down something with a SHIRT! I knew it wouldn’t work out when he was shirtless. That’s just a start. It is unfair that others are friends/familiar with each other and that these folks have not only never met but have nothing in common. It takes the joy out of some of it for me.

and as much as I like Kiki and Farai, they certainly deserved to be kicked. That was horrific.

I disagree that Zach is out of her league.  IMO Mindy is on par with Zach on the physical attractiveness scale.  She's just not what Zach finds attractive.  I think Mindy's beauty is more classic and she is graceful, professional and poised.  I could easily see her on the arm of some rich and powerful CEO.

Agree. I am not attracted to Zach at all. He wouldn’t be any more attracted to me than he is to Mindy so we’re cool. I would like him to train me bc under my cushion I have the athletic body he wouldn’t mind being seen in public with.
