  1. "I got insurance"

"Oh- good now you can get your teeth fixed"

My friend and I are binging this show right now and he was saying how he missed the neighbor - in comes RuPaul with that line. Spit his drink back into the glass.

Sophia is still the worst - but I adore the secondary characters.

  2. Yay! Welcome back show!

Lucifer's little smirk when he got mom talking about the flaming sword was everything. As was his performance of Eternal Flame.

I kind of loved Candy. I also want flashbacks of what Lucifer got up to in Vegas.   Wonder how he is going to explain her being gone?

I do wish that there was a bit of a bigger time jump- to really ramp up the mystery of being missing but that is a minor, minor thing.

And Dr. Linda!  I always love me some Dr. Linda.

  3. Can someone explain how killing the Savior would make someone the Savior? Come on Darth Gideon- be more interesting than that. Also, why do bad guys always stomp around the middle of town at night?  FFS-Put up some better lighting and cameras Storybook Municipal, maybe a better lock on the clock tower?

At least Colin looked like he was having fun in his old guy getup.  "We're switching to water." "For drinking?" Ha!

I did enjoy seeing August and the Sherif again.  I completely understand why people don't like August.  I really do enjoy the actor though and kinda of dig the mystic angle of his.  I just wish he didn't leave Emma to her own devices/let her go to jail for all those years (which I am going to ignore- I mean the writes ignore their character's history all the time).

I cringed when I noticed now dirty Emma's beautiful cape was getting in the woods- but then it looked just a little wet back at August's and I was jealous of the cleaning properties of magic.

This exchange did make me laugh:

"That's how your getting home? A tree?"

    "A magic tree."  Like, duh.

I thought Loki's plan wa actually clever.  Criminals come up with good plans that normally law abiding people just wouldn't think of.   His plan was win win.

And only the 3rd most sketchy thing happening in the Magic Kingdom parking lot!

So they're somewhere between "that was a little rude" and "run!"

Her little smile after"run" had me dying.

And as I said before- this whole thing has me missing Better Off Ted.

I don't think it was a bad episode by any means- I just want the continuation.

  6. Drew looked really pretty at the start of this episode.

Love Eric and his unrepentant nerdiness.

So Dr. Wolf is basically a super smart Veronica ( I am totally ok with that choice).  At least the Serbians are not the Dutch.

    Love Ramona.

Knew that cliffhanger was coming. Probably my least favorite episode of the series (despite my love for Portia) but I absolutely want a second season.  I enjoyed the half hour format.

Dr. Linda is my favorite.  Love her.

Can someone please explain Chloe to me?  Much like @Mojeaux, the irregular episodes have me forgetting a lot of what went on in the past.  Is she divine?  Half divine?  God (via an angel?), uh, implanted Chloe in Chloe's mom?  Does she have a human father that she thought was her dad?  What does her being divine mean for her mortality or well, anything?  The only thing we've seen is she has an affect on Lucifer, so if she never met Lucifer, would she have no divinity at all?  What does that make Trixie?  1/4 divine?

Maybe I missed an episode, but I am very confused by what exactly Chloe is.

Chloe is a "miracle"  Her parents were unable to have children and God ordered Amenadiel down to Earth to bless the couple so they could have a child.  As far as her divinity or powers- we don't actually know what they are or what they mean other than her effect on Lucifer.

At least I think that is the case :)

  8. Super bummed about May but that was a fantastic episode to go out on.

2 scenes stick out in particular for me.  As a ton of other people noted- DB Woodside in the doorway.  Man, was that powerful.  The framing, the music, his sheer presence were all just perfection.  Totally agree with @Good Queen Jane - that sure looked like an angel getting his groove back.

I have not been crazy about the character- but the scene with Lucifer dragging his mom back into the elevator to leave hell was another perfect melding of actors, music, and cinematography.

Do you guys remember when Tom Ellis was Robin Hood?  I love Lucifer, so obviously I am much happier he is here- but how different could Once Upon a Time been with him still in that role?  (Never mind - I don't even think Tom would have been able to save that thankless role...)

Also, Dr. Linda totally deserves a raise.

    See you all in May!

  9. There were a few actual laugh out loud moments for me in this episode.  I like that they are keeping it pretty dark.

I am sad that the Teddy will probably not be around again (mainly because I think the actor is super handsome.) I also kind of love how much Alba dislikes Jimmy.

I also adore little Ben and how he kind of just wanders through the chaos of his life.

  10. At the 30 min mark- still barely anything has happened.  Emma got sent to AU, Regina chased her.  That’s it.

Why didn’t Regina wish for the lamp to tag along on the trip with her?

Nothing, nothing, David did something! Nothing, nothing. Why didn't they wish Aladdin free- doesn't he keep the magic genie powers w/o the itty bitty living space?

50 min in: “Oh, hey hooded figure!

Oh- cool- Black Faire will be in this next season. And that’s how Gideon is going to be older. Oh, hey Gideon!

Emma- "the pain is what makes me, me!"  Ridiculous and contrived.

Yeah- let’s not use our magic at all and miss the magic bean portal.

    So, that was underwhelming.

I thought they were going to pull Henry Simmon's doing the teary eye thing again - that guts me each and every time.  Before he too off on the bike, he was holding a card in his hand - anyone know what that was?

Henry Simmons was excellent this episode.  Actually, I really enjoyed this entire episode.

Are you talking about the card Mack was holding when Robbie came out of dark world?  I think it was a picture w/ writing on the back.  It said:

    Hope 4/18/06

So when the Rider said Mack lost hope- it appears to have been in a literal sense...
