It's the return of Joe's navy blue sweater day. Mika is wearing a black sweater. Mika was upset at the cold weather in the Midwest.
Joe started ranting about ISIS. He said all his friends at various embassies told him that ISIS is a threat. Joe said Obama has to get out of his bubble and stop being so defensive. Joe said Obama should learn from Bush & find a general David Petraus to defeat ISIS. Joe said Obama was wrong to leave Iraq. Barnicle blamed Bush for invading Iraq. Joe is mad at Turkey for not helping fight ISIS.
Joe said after the election results that Hillary is not inevitable to win in 2016. Joe said his friends in the democrat party want an alternative to Hillary. Joe said Romney is more popular now than in 2012.

On today's show , Joe defended the Koch brothers again & said the Democrats were foolish to campaign against them. At the next commercial break, there was an ad for all the good work that the Koch Industries does. Doesn't MSNBC have any standards? IShouldn't Joe mention that they sponsor the show?
Jeremy Peters came on & said the Democrats were successful in scaring away potential donors to the GOP who were afraid of being targeted like the Koch Bros. Joe then got upset & said that the GOP had record donations.
Joe was mad at the Boston Globe NFL reporter who said that ratings are great now & everyone forgot about the players who beat up their kids & wives. the reporter said that Goodell knew that the issue about violence in the NFL would die down .Joe said he doesn't watch NFL football.
Joe went on to talk about college football.
Mika was upset that her daughter's track team had a competition in Canton NY which was 7 hours north of new york. Her daughter's team came in second place. Mika brought cookies to the team.
Willie was on &was unshaven. What's with this show? Joe is still wearing his navy blue sweater. Mika is re wearing her green sweater & pajama pants. Dreamy is the only one who dresses properly.
The panel discussed immigration reform. Joe said President Obama could stop deportations for a year for Dream act applicants & the GOP would be forced to agree with that.

Cackles is back today. Red Fleecy Joe Mika green sweater are on the set. I guess Mika is dressing down to make Joe not look so bad.
Joe said he was right about the election. Joe is mad at Harry Reid for complaining about Koch Industries. Koch runs commercials on Morning Joe. Shouldn't Joe disclose that he supports his sponsors? It's a conflict of interest.
Mika agrees with Al Sharpton that Obama was left alone to promote his policies.
Cokie Roberts said Democrats are mad at Obama & Obama is mad at them.

Thanks for the info Ruby. If the Democrats know that their base won't turn out for mid terms, it would make more sense for them to send President Obama to campaign in those states to get base voters excited. Clyburn said on the show that people liked Obama's policies.

That is very sad news.
Was there any discussion about turnout among traditional Democratic supporters as a reason for the losses?
It's shocking that the Democrats could lose Illinois & Massachusetts & Florida Governors races.
I agree that Obama should have been allowed to campaign more on his accomplishments. Did the DNC demand that he not campaign or was it individual Democratic candidates? Can't Obama override the DNC? I am a bit confused about US regulations.
In Canada, the PM is the leader of the party , so he can campaign wherever he/she wants

It's sweater Monday on Morning Joe. Mika was in a bad mood because the polls were showing the GOP's lead in key senate races increasing. Harold Ford gave 3 points why Republicans are doing better with Latinos & Millienials. Halperin said something but I tuned him out.
Joe said he wasn't a DC Republican. Donnie said Obama should be doing better given the economy & low gas prices.
Joe said the Independent Senator from Kansas will caucus with the democrats
The show is running ads here to say how much more popular Morning Joe is than CNN. That's bizarre. Why run an ad on Morning Joe for Morning Joe? They are showing clips from 2010. Mika had blond hair . The show promises comprehensive election analysis!

Gotta say Oakville, I want all republican governors to cozy up to Joe if he has such an affect on their careers
Joe is a secret weapon for the democrat.
It's sad that Mika &Joe are now colour coordinating their pants. I think McDreamy should do an intervention with them. He is always very well dressed.
I do like the fact that Joe acknowledged he was wrong about Romney rising in 2012. His gut instinct was wrong then.

Donnie Deutsche is having some legal problems.
Mika & Joe are upset that Christie won't come on Morning Joe since "bridge gate". Joe retaliates by blasting Christie for shouting at the heckler. In 2011, Mika practically begged Christie to run for the GOP nomination.
Mika & Joe are now friendly with Mitt Romney & gave him an interview on Wednesday.
If I were Romney, I would run away from Mika & Joe. Joe has a terrible track record of touting Governor's.
I think it started with Mika & Joe on the beach with Charlie Crist in 2010 after the oil spill. Cristie was a Republican Governor & ran for Senate & his campaign imploded.
Joe was friends with Mark Sanford (SC) & McDonnell (VA). Joe touted them both as potential presidential or VP Nominees. Their careers ended.
Joe was BFF with Gov Scott Walker & now he may lose the election.
Next , Joe became friendly with former Gov Jon Huntsman from Utah. He got 1% of the vote in 2012 & his campaign derailed.
If I was running for office as a GOP candidate, I would stay away from Joe.
Has Reince Pribus considered putting Joe under a quarantine from getting close to any GOP Governor's ?
Joe is hazardous to their political careers.

Thanks Stafford. Yes, the deceased suspect was identified. He was on a "watch list" & his passport was seized recently because he apparently wanted to go fight for ISIS . This is the second deadly attack in 3 days. A soldier was run over & killed two days ago by another person on the watch list.

The top story today was the death of Ben Bradlee. He was the editor who authorized the investigation of Nixon.
Joe got upset with Chris Christie for saying that he is tired of hearing about the minimum wage.
Joe supports increasing the minimum wage but acknowledged voting against increases when he was in Congress.
Joe is no longer a big cheerleader for chris Christie.
Cackles was on the show & talked about the inequality of opportunity.
Chuck Todd was the moderator of a senate debate in NH. He went after scott brown for running in NH etc since he used to live in Massachusetts.
Debbie Wasserman Shultz said the democrats may pick up seats in Congress.
Mika said her daughter remembers Obama for providing healthcare & saving the auto industry.

Agreed. I think his outbursts on MTP & show that he clearly hasn't gotten over the Dr. Scarborough label.
He is not suited to be a "senior political analyst" on a serious show like MTP.
Joe got mad at Mika today when she grimaced at one of his comments. He told Mika to stop grimacing so she started smiling at him.
Mika tried to cheer him up by saying that she watched part of the Alabama football game.

I think Joe is aware of the ratings. He has tried doing a scripted morning rant at the beginning of each show. He has also tried to be more supportive of Obama's policies. He also tries ranting about topics he doesn't normally care about like the domestic violence in the NFL. His boycott of watching NFL games has not attracted as much media attention that he would have liked. They have a few new regular guests like Roland Martin.
Joe is also a contributor on Meet the Press as Dr. Scarborough:))
Mika is busy hosting events in the evening & working another book. In the event the show gets cancelled ,
she could try & reposition herself as an expert on women's issues & nutrition.
A few years ago they were working on a tv pilot about interns in Washington but no network picked it up.

there wa also a segment with Mika interviewing congressman Sean Duffy, his wife ( both from the real world) & their 7th child Margarita. Margarita spent most of the interview holding the baby in the air.
Mika was so happy to be playing with the baby. She told the Duffy's that they should stop having kids.
Throughout the show, every guest that came on got questioned by Joe about their support for the Ebola travel ban.
Every few weeks , Joe comes up with a new pet project. It was "camera on cops" as the solution to the Ferguson shooting,Roger Goodell's firing as the solution to the NFL players violence , kicking Turkey out of NATO.
Joe also started shouting at Chuck Todd again because Todd tried to explain Obama's refusal to impose a travel ban .
Joe said the governor of a region of Siera Leone has a travel ban so why is Obama afraid to impose one.
Joe sais Obama is being politically correct about the ban.
Chuck Todd was worried that the democrats could lose votes to the republicans over Obama's ebola strategy.

Joe exploded & said you could check the passport to see where people were before they arrived in the usa.

Joe said liberals were wrong to trust the health agencies about Ebola.
Obama may want a Ebola czar.
Mika said the one patient from Libria has created chaos.
FDA guidelines prevented the use of the ebola diagnostic machine, so the texas hospital couldn't help the patient.

She should realize that her actions have hurt people.

Cackles is now on a rampage against ratner. Ratner is talking about Katrina. Cackles is afraid of ebola.
ratner said mistakes were made but its getting better. Mika says is this hysteria. The medical lady said yes.
More work needs to be done according to dr snead.
