“I have my own value regardless of Kody”, says the woman with, no self-worth, no self-esteem and no self-respect.

I wish Kody had explained why it was okay for Sol and Ari to hug Mykelti, Tony and Avalon but not Truely.

Mykelti and Christine were not close before, and Mykelti seemed to be the black sheep of the family for a while.
It seems as though Mykelti and Christine got closer after she got married and became a mother. When she was a teen, Mykelti appeared to be rebellious. She seemed to have gotten lost in Aspyn and Maddy's shadows and she wasn't happy about it and made it known. If the other teens said the sky was blue, she would say it was green. I am guessing this was the reason she wasn't allowed to do the couch interviews with the older kids. She threw a hissy fit when she was told that she couldn't have her wedding two months after Maddy's. The family had to sit her down and explain to her that it was going to take a while to recover, financially. She seems to be in a good place now. I believe she had good intentions with the goodbye. Problem was, she didn't read the room.

Mykelti stating that Robyn was the first to be supportive of her relationship with Tony, was clearly a dig at the other four adults. When Leon came out to the family, Christine, Janelle and Robyn quickly leaped up and offered hugs, congratulations and reassurance, while Meri and Kody just sat there. It’s easy to be supportive when it’s not your kid. As the favored wife, Kody would never chastise Robyn for being “Liberal.” He most likely admires her for being so “open and honest.” In the meantime, Robyn keeps her kids on a very tight leash. I am willing to bet none of her daughters is going to dye her hair blue, wear “inappropriate” clothing, or want to marry a guy she has known for two months.

Meri wasn’t there bc she didn’t feel like going. She’s fine with Christine gone. Previous stuff was an act to try to please kody. A desperate, pitiful act.
Meri thought it would be weird to go and say goodbye to Christine, since she isn't interested in having a relationship with her. However, Kody isn't interested in having a relationship with her either, but that’s not stopping her from being around him as much as possible and hanging on for dear life. The hypocrisy!

Mykelti I has matured so much.
I disagree. Part of maturity is learning how to read a room. Based on the conversation with her father and stepmother, Mykelti should have realized that a family gathering would not be a good idea.

Truely looked at Kody as though he was the crazy uncle you see once a year at Thanksgiving.

There is a saying, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” I believe Mykelti had good intentions, but she should have been more mindful of her mother’s feelings and how it would affect her. Clearly, Christine didn’t tell her about Kody’s “Knife to the Kidneys” soliloquy. Can’t help but wonder if she would have insisted on a goodbye get-together had she known. Poor Christine! She appeared to be emotionally exhausted, and yet, she was willing to go along despite the obvious hurt and pain.

From the mouth of babes; Ari wanting to know why Christine and her dad broke up. Wonder who put that in her head.

I can't believe Kody was trying to make Truely feel bad about leaving. What a horrible, little man.

What a shitty thing to say.
Sometimes, Mykelti doesn't think before she speaks. Which was why back in the early years, she wasn't allowed on the interview couch with the other older kids.

Mykelti needs to back off and mind her own business. Just because she wants a relationship with Robyn, doesn't mean Christine has to want one too.

I was wondering why Mykelti likes Robyn so much, while her other siblings don't particularly care for her. Now I know; Robyn was the first to actually accept her husband.

I find it interesting that Kody said that he knows for a fact that there are rentals in Flagstaff. If memory serves, the reason Robyn had to buy her mansion was because there weren't any rentals.

You probably didn’t miss an episode, just blinked. Once Victoria decided to stay with James he went back to the nothingness of bachelor nation in waiting.
I know you mean "Victoria stayed with Johnny", but you still didn't answer my question. Is Alex still in Paradise or not?

What the heck happened to Alex? I feel like I missed the episode where he went home.

Sure, but over the seasons of the show, Christine has had quite a few times where she's talked about resenting and mistreating Robyn. Every time she's done it, she's talked about it like it was in the past and she's turning over a new leaf. That gets old.
Robyn is a master manipulator. She had Meri eating out of the palm of her hands and Janelle and Kody had a sister-brother relationship. Which left Christine. She saw her as her only competition. Janelle has made it perfectly clear that she can't stand Robyn and doesn't have any use for her, and yet, Kody has never said anything to her. Bottom line, when Christine didn’t kiss Robyn’s ass or bowed down to her sufficiently, she would report her to Kody. Voicing any concerns about Robyn and what it was doing to his other relationships was, to Kody, complaining about and mistreating Robyn.

About halfway through this episode, in response to Kody's "knife in the kidneys/sacrifices I made to love you" melodramatic monologue, Christine says, "I never tried to treat anyone like crap," and in response to Kody insisting she did anyhow, she adds that she's sorry, and that she didn't want or mean to.
Based on the way Kody was haranguing Christine, if he'd accused her of helping to kidnap Elizabeth Smart, she would have cop to it. When most people are being berated and gaslighted by nasty, mean bullies, they will say and do anything to make it stop. Which is why a lot of people confess to murders they didn't commit.

(From Kody, her sister wives, and the tv audience.) It is written all over her face. I don’t think I ever remember her being considered a camera forward member of the family. In my observations from watching the show since season one, I have noticed attention from Kody is something she has always craved especially since Robyn came into the family. Her jealousy of Robyn was apparent. Christine has admitted as much.
There were times when I felt embarrassed for Christine. She knew how Kody felt about her, so she would do anything just to get his attention. Kody has made it perfectly clear that he didn’t love Christine. Last night, he admitted that he brought her into the family to "clean up the mess between Meri and Janelle." As soon as she expressed any needs or emotions except contentment, he resented her. I have never seen any evidence of Christine treating Robyn like dirt. However, she is on tape expressing how Robyn joining the family made her feel insecure and how she was worried about her place with Kody. I believe what she really wanted was for her husband to love and treat her the way he did Robyn. Is that too much to ask?

Right, but she said, "I had my babies in that bed," regarding the bedroom set she bought in Vegas.
She did not have her babies in that bed. Her babies had all been born, before she bought that bed. It’s splitting hairs. “I had my babies on that mattress”, doesn’t quite pack the same punch.

I happened upon an old episode, where they were buying furniture (season 3 maybe - I'm not sure) for the Vegas rentals. Christine pointedly said she never had a bedroom set and never had a bed, just a mattress.
Christine was referring to the bedroom set that she bought in Vegas. She also got rid of the mattress which she had since Utah.

How can you make sacrifices to love someone you claim you never loved? Christine leaving hurt his ego, so he was determined to embarrass her on national television. There is a saying, “hurt people, hurt people.” He clearly wants to punish her for not kissing Robyn’s ass or bowing down to her sufficiently. The thing that gets to me is that Janelle doesn't seem to have a relationship with Robyn and was less welcoming. When Robyn announced that she was pregnant with Sol, Christine was the first to jump up and hug her, while Janelle just rolled her eyes. And yet, Christine is the one who Kody calls out for not being nice to Robyn.

It bothered me when Kody accused Christine of being jealous and unkind to Robyn. I don’t believe she wanted what Robyn had. I think she just wanted her fair share. Pointing out that Robyn was getting more than her fair share isn’t jealousy, it’s called asking for fairness.
