The story of him calling a coworker he was fooling around with when he was married and leaving an inappropriate message for her that the rest of the company ended up hearing has been going around. Nick Viall was lambasted for talking about it on his podcast. “Carolyn” might be a bitter ex and it’s hard to confirm some rumors, but as the old saying goes where there is smoke there is fire. In my opinion Gerry is shady and it was arrogant and foolish for him to think he could pull off this false narrative without his past coming out.

It takes an ego to go on a show like this, I think he is is loving the attention. I wouldn't want my father to do it, so to be honest I question the common sense of his daughters encouraging him. People are going to judge you and things from your past will end up coming out. I agree that the showrunners pushed the story line of the widower who has been alone since his wife died looking for love, but Gerry is a big boy and agreed to go along with the false narrative. I still think he is a phony but I think Theresa may be a bit fake too so it may be a match made in hell heaven.

I think they are going to do a spin off but it will be different than The Bachelorette. I used to like the old show when they lived together in a house, it was before Bachelor in Paradise.

After all this B.S. he better stay with her. I am leery because he loves attention and the spotlight but I hope it works out for them.

Theresa is cute and petite, but her hairstyle needs help. I thought maybe it was the humidity but that just seems to be how she likes her hair.

I hope they have multiple Bachelorettes. If they choose Leslie, for me a little of her goes a long way and I don't think I could watch a whole season of just her.

I am glad she is confronting him but she is not helping herself by saying people will see how broken she is. I would hope I could do a dramatic flounce out and not give him the satisfaction but I do realize she is worn down emotionally.

Yay Leslie is confronting him, I am glad she is not letting him off the hook. I think Gerry is used to charming himself out of these type of situations.
