  1. I’d give this episode a D and the season, so far, a C+.  NOT AT ALL what I expected.  Pffffft…..  I’m not sure if I’m tired of the show, in general, or just feel like the writers are treading water.

Yes! I had never seen the actor in anything before so I don’t know his style. If he is going to be a permanent cast member he maybe should gradually make the character his own.

The key word here is “gradually”.  I think it was a conscious choice to take on a few of RBs mannerisms to make the transition less jarring for the audience.  RN is a professional and will make the role his own in no time.  I’m not a RN fan because I’m not at all familiar with his work but I was pleased with his performance as Ashland.  It can’t be easy to come into a role in this way.

Christine, Kody and Robyn have used that safe place term this season.  It seems to refer to a place of vulnerability…..but I don’t know.  It’s not right to infer violence unless that’s what it really is, imo.

I think “safe place” means anywhere off camera.  It’s a code word(s).

  4. The white brick wall reminded me of “Z Brick” from the late 70s.  I, too, couldn’t wrap my mind around the outdoor seating areas in the FRONT of the house.

I like Flip or Flop exactly the way it is.  Tarek and Christina ARE the show.  Does she consistently offer varieties of grey paint, tiles, and cabinets and roll her eyes along the way?  Yes.  Does he continue to make the same sarcastic remarks to his ex wife?  Yes.  However, I still get enjoyment from watching the show even if I find myself complaining about it.

Hello All, I've been lurking and reading this site for several years, and decided to join.  Here is a link to a site that has some fairly accurate spoilers.  Some highlights are that Chelsea fantasizes about Rey, Sharon and Nick do the dirty, Dominic is not Devon's bio child and more....

Hello and thank you for this information.  It looks like a great place to visit.

  6. I’m happy Chantal won.

I’d bet my last dollar the end result would have been different had Elaine been there to judge.

For me, this season was mediocre except for Christian.  I just love that guy.

All I could think of while watching Chasity put the finishing touches on her garments was…..Cher.  Waaaay back when…..Cher.

  7. Why do so many of the main characters look different…especially Conrad, Pravesh, and the bearded ER doctor?  (Except Bell). It’s almost creepy.  Have they lost weight?  New camera angles or lenses?  I realize the show advanced three years, so some hairstyles etc. changed, but that’s not it.  Conrad doesn’t even look like the same person!

This. Christine has a spine, is brave and speaks plainly (unlike Meri).

All very true, but from the day Kody married Robyn, jealousy took over every thinking part of Christine and it festered.  We saw it season after season.  She became completely insecure in her marriage and she questioned her importance in the family.  That green eyed monster is what brought the end to her marriage to Kody.  (I think she’s still jealous of Robyn!)  It did for Meri, as well,  but for Meri the jealousy happened years earlier with Kody’s marriage to Janelle.

  9. This show is slowly turning into The Stella Show.  Reminds me way too much of Gaby’s trajectory.  Ugh.

I really like Pelham.  Hope he sticks around.

I’m most likely in the minority, but I like the new romantic relationship between the paramedic and her boss.  It will be tricky but will be interesting to see where this goes.

  10. I thought Kody hit the lowest of the low when he wasn’t with Ysabel during her surgery BUT the way he responded to Gabe was sinful.  The kid was literally crying for a hug.  A hug.  How could he not have given his flesh and blood a….hug?  Despicable man!

Allow me to add:  I wish the camera person would have turned off the camera and walked away during this part of the scene.  It was sooooo raw and personal.  I’m probably fooling myself but, it could have possibly ended with an embrace if they weren’t being filmed.

  11. I cannot begin to imagine how much pain Precious had to have been in by the end of taping the show.  Her boobs seemed jammed together with a vice and then pushed up into her throat. Simply awful.

Why is Jeff Grossman always in same jacket, vest and silk shirt 4 days out of the week? Does the wardrobe department hate him? Are they trying to pad him because he’s always so gaunt and pale looking? Just random thoughts. Is Connor going back boarding school with Maddie and Charlie anytime soon? He’s so annoying the way he’s always skipping around. Send him away and have MCE get back to playing bitch on wheels Chelsea. The sets look nice but I still haven’t seen the Abbott house decorated. It probably didn’t make the budget cut this year. They may have used that money for Courtney Hope’s wig and black ensemble (which actually she looks great in).

I’m stumped.  What character does Jeff Grossman play?  Thanks.

I believe the title of highest amount of total prize money won now goes to CT. I think he has officially surpassed Johnny and Ashley after this season’s win in total prize money.

If he wanted to hang it up and retire from The Challenge, this season would be a high note to end it on.

You’re right, but I want him back.

I loved the interaction between S and A….especially the hand holding.  I believe there’s potential with them.

Also,  I didn’t appreciate the way the actor who plays Ashland placed his hand on the side of AH’s bare back (inside the dress) as they mingled during the reception.  I think he should have had more respect for his costar and put his hand on the fabric instead.   I’m not the least bit a prude and I totally appreciate many things about love scenes, but that bothered me.

  15. This is the first season I didn't record the show but I  felt compelled to come here today to see if things improved from last season and what I missed.  Looks like I did the right thing.  The show is still a mess.   I cannot believe New Amsterdam wasn't cancelled.
