  1. He really does just go along with whoever is in front of him at any given moment. He needs to get a spine. I think it would have been exactly what Sheila deserves if, listening to the officiant talking about the commitment exchanging the rings represents made Finn flashback to his own vows and realize that he wants to put his wife first and truly cut Sheila out of his life. Not that I want Princess SuperBitch to get the win here, either, but Sheila getting everything she wants doesn't sit right, either. Enough with the fucking nine toes. They're bordering on making it seem like a kink. No thank you. Ridge is just so over the top with his "Finn would never go to that wedding" that it again had me conflicted, because I love that he's not getting what he wants. Judging by the preview scenes for next week at the end, I'm assuming that Steffy decides to blame Hope for Finn staying for the wedding, so she's going to get her revenge by cutting off HFTF. At this point, I honestly can't wait for Finn/Hope, because it is exactly what Steffy deserves. It's past time karma pays Princess SuperBitch a visit. I can't remember now, does Hope know about Liam and Steffy kissing after he saw her with Thomas? I've been waiting for Finn to find out about that shit.
  2. I don't know what makes me cringe more - Sheila calling Deacon "daddy" or Sheila calling Finn "baby." Steffy really likes to rub it in, doesn't she? Reminding Finn how Sheila is out of their lives, so her wedding doesn't matter. She's so mean spirited towards her own husband. I so wanted Finn to respond, when Steffy said "and then Liam is going to hang out here for a while," with "actually, no. That's not OK. I don't want the man who has repeatedly tried to undermine our marriage to hang out in our house." Why didn't Hope just tell Deacon that she would rather stand up for him? It's certainly not unheard of for women to stand up on the groom's side, or vice versa. And this certainly wasn't some uber stuffy traditional wedding. It would have been nice to see her go for that compromise, since she was so clear in saying that she was there for him.
  3. Hey, um, Finn? Did you notice how Sheila went right to blaming Steffy? I mean, yeah, she's right, but that should register on your radar there as a sign that she is not as new and improved as she'd like you to believe. Finn just rolls over and shows his belly to whoever he happens to be talking to at the time. Can he please just have some damn fire? TN was really good in those scenes back after the shooting, when Sheila had him in the hospital bed after she took Li out of the picture. He's not great as this wishy-washy, go along with whoever he's talking to at the time guy. (I doubt even someone like Anthony Geary or David Canary could make that bullshit any good, though). Also, Deacon? See above. Did you notice how quickly she went to blaming Steffy? How long do you think you have before your blushing bride is pulling some kind of psycho bullshit? I want to punch Ridge with the way her rolls his eyes any time Hope refers to Deacon as her dad. No, you don't get to be annoyed at that, just because you were her stepfather at various stages. You've already established that, if Princess SuperBitch broke a nail, you'd run Hope over with your car to get her an emery board, asshat. You could tell Hope really, really wanted to say something like that to Steffy. You could see that glint in her eye. The only thing keeping her from blurting it out was the fact that, unlike the rest of them, she respects Finn and his right to figure shit out on his own. And, she figures that, if she does say anything, Steffy will just run home and forbid Finn from seeing Hope anymore, too. And she and Finn are basically each other's only friends. And, yeah, when she brought up the roof, I was like "um, you mean when you went up there to pretend you wanted to commit suicide because of how heartbroken you were about Finn's death, and Taylor almost died saving your ass?"
  4. I was so disappointed that he massaged her twice, and Steffy didn't barge in on either time. The only thing I've anticipated more on this show than I anticipate Steffy walking in on some moment between Hope and Finn was the Phoebe is Beth secret coming out.
  5. Sheila keeps showing Deacon that she hasn't changed. Bitching about Steffy, fantasizing about Hayes as her ring bearer, and then trying to manipulate Finn. She hasn't changed at all, and she will be plotting against Steffy before the honeymoon is over. I'm looking forward to the scenes where Steffy tries to tell Finn he can't spend time with Hope. I'm hoping that leads to him finally start seeing what a bitch he's married to.
  6. So, now Steffy is going to stomp home and tell Finn he's not allowed to spend time with the only friend he seems to have? I was so hoping Princess SuperBitch would burst into Finn's office while he was massaging Hope. Liam is such a weasel, but I would have liked him for a day or so if, when Steffy was going on and on about how stupid it would be for anyone to buy that Sheila is reformed just on her and Deacon's say-so, he would have said that it was like expecting people to believe Thomas was reformed just because his mother and sister said so. But, of course, he's trying to get into her pants, so he'd never. But, come on, Liam, you have to at least be thinking it. If Hope is going to have some major medical crisis, I will laugh my ass off if Steffy has to sit back and watch Liam and Finn both fawning over Hope.
  7. Apparently, Finn only feels an obsessive connection one of his biological parents.
  8. Yeah, when Steffy was calling her a slut, I was so waiting for this line.
  9. I can't believe I had forgotten the whole search for her father thing. Yeah, I could see that being the angle here. Luna will move on blissfully from the pregnancy scare, only to discover she's really sick, and she'll end up needing a donation of some kind. Either Finn or Jack will be the match she needs.
  10. Liam can't understand why Finn feels a connection to his birth mother? Isn't Liam in town specifically because he was trying to find his father? But he can't understand why someone might have some urge to feel a connection to a birth parent? In other Liam news, he and Steffy are, as always, insufferable together. Hope's face was the exact same face we've all made at some point in time, when one of our friends announces they're back with a cheating ex. And I laughed when Deacon told her "it would mean so much to Sheila, too," and she laughed about that not being the way to motivate her. Why was Brooke lambasting Poppy about Zende's part in all of this, going on about how "he knew they were together. She came to the wedding as RJ's date"? Poppy isn't responsible for Zende. So, the pregnancy test in the garbage can... I'm guessing that either Luna and Poppy didn't wait long enough to read it, or the test will get damaged somehow in the garbage from other things getting thrown in there (maybe someone dumped coffee in there, and the window is impossible to read). Given the office the test will be found in, people will suspect either Luna or Hope as the ones who took the test. If someone thinks Hope is pregnant, and they don't just ask her, things will get out of hand, with people thinking she's having Thomas's baby. (Good Lord, can you imagine how Steffy will act thinking Hope might be pregnant with Thomas's baby?) If they suspect it's Luna, I'm guessing it will be Zende who finds it, and he'll become even more obsessed with her. Even two minutes of thinking Luna might be having his baby will have him going full Thomas. Or, the other option, that doesn't involve them being wrong about it being negative or someone thinking it could be positive, is simply that RJ finds out from anyone other than Luna that she took a pregnancy test. Now, personally, she had zero reason to tell him, since it was negative. But, since how long it took her to tell him about "misunderstanding" night was an issue, this will be another strike in that column.
  11. I didn't catch it, but I think I asked about it on here back when it initially happened, and someone said that Zende did tell Luna he used a condom. Wait, you mean to tell me that Lulu got an abortion? You'd think she'd have mentioned that a time or 10,000 back then. (I honestly had forgotten all about that storyline until you brought it up, and then I immediately flashed back to it practically being part of her name for like a year.)
  12. I was thinking that while watching yesterday. It would certainly be an interesting storyline choice, and all of her circumstances make her a decent candidate for that storyline. She's young and not at a stage in her life where she'd likely be ready to become a mother. The pregnancy may be the result of a "misunderstanding night." I fear, though, that if the show did go there, they'd also punish her for it. Speaking of her and RJ, I do like that RJ keeps saying that what happened is Luna's private information. Getting some kind of revenge on Zende isn't worth violating her privacy like that for him. Steffy has clearly never heard of the concept of "don't start none, won't be none," has she? When has charging over to confront Sheila ever gone well for her? And what does she want Sheila to do, promptly die for her so that she can get things back the way she liked them? And I'd have paid good money for Deacon to just look at Liam and say "I'm sorry, but why, exactly, do you think you have some kind of say in my life?" I hate Sheila and that Deacon is "in love" with her, but Steffy, Liam, and Ridge sure make it hard to root for them even though they're right about her.
  13. I can't even comment on whatever Brooke said to Zende, because I spent the whole episode wondering what the hell she was wearing. Really, though, nobody on this show has the standing to rip Zende for this one. They've all banged more than one member of a family. (There are only three families in L.A., so the pickings are slim.) But I do wish that Brooke would focus more on the whole "you should have made sure she was really truly there for you and ready to take this step" angle, because she had just turned him down, and, like Brooke pointed out, she had just been on his cousin's arm that night, with no sign of any trouble between the two of them. Nobody on canvas can throw shade about banging a relative's love interest or ex, but he owed it to Luna to make sure she was an enthusiastic participant. And, tangentially, if he'd had even an ounce of concern for his cousin in there, it might have led to him getting more information and realizing Luna was not there for him. Doing the right and respectful thing would have led to him not doing the wrong thing. I don't know why, because I wasn't even watching when Eric was with Sheila, but every time he is involved in a Sheila conversation, I feel like Eric is still riding some affection for her, and like if it wasn't for Ridge and Steffy being all "hell to the fuck no," about giving her a shot, Eric would be fine with it. I think it's something in the way JMc plays it when he talks about her. I'm not saying he wants her back or anything, just that he kind of likes her, despite knowing he shouldn't.
  14. I can't decide who Finn is more naive about - his birth mother or his wife. I almost snorted my water out of my nose when he earnestly told Steffy "she loves us more than her own life!" If Steffy was not just the absolute worst, I would, 1,000 percent, be on her side. Because she's right about Sheila. She tried to kill her, her mother, and her grandmother. She did shoot the two of them and leave them in an alley for dead. Sheila could be a perfect saint, saving the lives of all of the children around the world. She could donate a kidney, bone marrow, and part of her liver to save some of Steffy's loved ones, and Steffy would be perfectly justified in still calling her a psycho and never being in the same room as her ever again. But, Steffy is just the worst, so I just find myself annoyed with how she talks to Finn and how she refuses to understand a single bit of his feelings. She refused to even consider for a second what a huge load it was off of Finn's heart that his wife hadn't killed his birth mother. Now I just cannot wait for the first time she sees Finn kissing Hope. Liam and Ridge sitting there deciding shit for Steffy and Finn, like they're not both adults who can make their own decisions, was really fucking annoying. As was the way they were treating Hope. How dare Hope have any opinion other than the one that is most partial to Princess SuperBitch? Deacon, pay attention to what's happening here. Sheila is supposedly changed, but instead of just being happy to be back with you, happy that Finn has come around, and happy that your daughter is leaning towards giving her a chance, too, she's delighting in emotionally torturing Li and plotting to do the same to others, people who she has already done more than enough bad shit to in the past. Remember Brooke? The mother of your child? The woman you professed to love not too long ago? Did you not hear her name cross that psycho's lips when she was plotting who would be her next victims? Is this how Sheila is going to pay back Hope for deciding to give her a chance, by immediately going after her mother? I'll say it again, you're an attractive guy who runs a successful restaurant. I'm guessing there are a lot of women in L.A. who would be willing to call you "daddy."
  15. (I'm not going to spoil this, since they showed Luna with the pregnancy test at the end of episode previews Friday). I'd say we only need to believe that one condom failed, it's just that none of them know which one it was that failed.
  16. Well, I'm torn on that. But, I swear to God, if they have I will lose my shit.
  17. And hasn't Ridge, himself, returned from the dead more than once? Hell, didn't they all think Steffy was dead when she was a toddler (or was it Phoebe? I just have a vague memory of it seeming like one of the twins was eaten by sharks.) None of this should seem so impossible to anyone in this family.
  18. JMW was practicing her bad telenovela reaction faces again, I see. Ridge and Steffy are really one and the same, aren't they? Both gigantic assholes. Steffy trying to rub Finn's face in it all again, with "I killed her, right there. I stabbed her," when she knows how painful that was for him. And Ridge just being a complete asshole to Hope, then deciding her is in charge of Finn and Steffy's marriage. Hey, Ridge, you don't get to look all pissed and roll your eyes at the statement that Finn and Deacon think Sheila is changed now, not when you have, who knows how many times now, crammed "Thomas is a changed man" down everyone's throats. Not that Sheila has changed. She demonstrated that she's exactly the same person she's always been in that hospital room with Li. But Ridge is still a hypocritical asshole for getting all pissy about someone saying "so and so has changed," because he sells that shit all the damn time. Let's not forget Liam being a dick, too. "So, you claim," like Hope is making shit up. You've known her how long, Liam? Have you ever known her to make up fantastical shit like this? She was all in on worrying about her father's obsession with the idea that Sheila was alive. Why would she just suddenly say "oh, no, he's right" without significant proof? Oh, Lord, not a Luna WTD story. Stop it, show.
  19. I'm with you. She almost killed this woman, almost killed her son, and almost left her infant grandchild an orphan. Oh, and she fucked Li's husband and helped him pull off the "adoption" story without Li knowing the truth about the baby. I may not like what they've done with Li recently, but it's not fun to watch someone who has done so much nightmarish shit to her and her family toy with her like this. And it's a clear sign that Sheila isn't any better than she used to be. She could have just been seen by whoever was on duty in the ER. But she specifically requested Li and then fucked with her mind. If she had changed and felt any remorse for what she's done, she would have been careful in how Li found out and apologized for what she's done to her. She doesn't have to like Li, but Li is Finn's mother, who raised him his whole life, and who he loves. Li was not responsible for Sheila not having time with Finn until he was an adult, that was her and Jack. Li had zero idea who Sheila was.
  20. I'm a little surprised, they let us see that Sheila hasn't changed way sooner than I thought they would. Ridge is, as always, a dick. And Steffy is not even remotely going to get what an emotional, spiritual relief it is for Finn that he doesn't have to deal with the fact that his wife killed his biological mother. Yes, it was self-defense, but it's still something that was difficult for him to reconcile. She saw how difficult it was for him to deal with that. But she's not going to get that it's a load off of him for that to not be true. Even if he still elected to not have a relationship with Sheila, it would be a relief for him for that to not be true.
  21. I've been saying for a while that Sheila's timing is one of the things Steffy should have been using to get Finn to see what she is. She knew who he was and where he was his whole life. But she didn't show up to meet him until the day he married into the family she's been obsessed with being a part of for years. And she revealed herself at the wedding (after it was a done deal, of course) in order to make the most dramatic entrance into the family. If she was so desperate to know him and have him in her life, even if Jack wouldn't let her come around when Finn was a kid, he's been an adult for quite some time now. She could have made an appointment and showed up at his office at any time. But she made no move until he was part of the Forrester family. That's the point to hammer home to him. Reminding him she shot them is pointless. He knows. He hasn't forgotten. And I agree about Deacon. When Lauren was telling her story, initially, he seemed like he was realizing what a monster Sheila was. He looked genuinely upset when he acknowledged what a living hell Sheila had put Lauren through. But then that all went out the window.
  22. And if he's so obsessed with the biological connection, where's Jack? Yeah, Jack did something very clearly shitty, but it certainly isn't as shitty as, oh, say shooting him and his wife and leaving them to die in an alley. Still, though, I'm all for Steffy's face getting cracked, so go Finn! Steffy "I don't understand what his connection is to her." Um, biology? You forgive your psycho brother for shit ALL the damn time because he's your brother. Of course, one rule for Princess MegaBitch, another rule for everyone else. Much like yesterday, I was giggling away from the moment they showed Steffy lighting those candles. And I realized today that I'm going to like Steam marginally better than I have any other time, because this time, Steffy is going to know damn well she has the consolation prize. I hope that, every time the two of them walk out to the beach, they see Finn, Hope, and the kids having fun as a family. I actually thought they had more chemistry than usual today, like maybe the show urged them to turn it on a little bit.
  23. Yes. They were engaged, but then he got so much pushback from Hope on being with Sheila that he backtracked and told Sheila it wasn't the right time (or something to that effect.) I can really easily see this being the truth. If they had not found her soon enough, she would have just bravely fought to free herself and made it all the way to Deacon's place before dramatically passing out. If Sugar had succeeded in killing Steffy, Sheila would have been rid of her without having to do it herself. But since that's not how it played out, she can do what she's doing now - play Sugar's victim who risked her own life trying to protect Steffy and the kids. Since Sheila can be so delusional about getting what she wants, she may think that this will ender her to Steffy, and everything will be fine. But, even if that doesn't happen (and we all know it won't), she's still earning points with Finn, which will drive a wedge in his marriage, and still lead to her getting to have a relationship with him. The fly in the ointment is going to be Hope. Sure, she's willing to consider that Sheila may have changed, but she'll be keeping a close eye on her, especially if she ends up involved with Finn, giving her double the reason to be concerned. And Hope isn't someone Sheila can easily bait into flying off the handle, like she can with Steffy. So it will be harder for her to manipulate situations with her where she looks like the victim.
  24. Was I supposed to laugh at this episode? Because I laughed through the whole damn thing. I cannot wait for Steffy to find out Sheila's alive. And then I can't wait for her to hear Finn gushing about how Sheila almost died trying to save her and the kids. I'm just sad that the start of her finding all this out wasn't her busting into Deacon's apartment while Finn and Hope were hugging at the end of today's show. Of course Liam brings up personal stuff during a business meeting. And I cracked up that Carter, of all people, seemed a little like he wanted to call him out on being unprofessional. Watching today, with Finn and Deacon explaining everything to Hope and trying to convince her that Sheila is better now, I had a vision of what some future storyline is going to be. Finn and Hope are obviously going to become a couple. And, of course, Deacon is going to marry the nutjob. So, Hope is going to be super important to the only people who matter to Sheila, and Hope is not going to be fully on board with the idea that Sheila is reformed. She's going to at some point, go after Hope because of that, and maybe that will be the thing that finally gets through to Deacon and Finn. Because there is no way in hell Sheila is just good now. She didn't become good when she had a shot at everything she wanted - Steffy was allowing her into their home and let her hold Hayes, and she was still plotting and scheming. She's not going to be good now. I'm just waiting for the eventual end of Friday shot of Sheila shooting an evil look at the camera after Finn or Deacon gushes about how wonderful she is now.
