  1. Re Tuesday's show - Michael Eric Dyson - gee what a freaking blowhard! His frantic posturing and shouting eclipsed many of the very valid points he was making but when he mentioned that he has been a preacher for 40 years, it made sense and also confirmed one of the reasons I no longer attend church. I found him totally annoying!

  2. I too am tired of the Sara-bashing. She is also, along with Sunny, a host who actually does her homework. Sunny is very predictable on what she focuses on (nothing wrong with that) as is Joy (still love her) and "focus" is not a word that can be applied to Whoopi at any time. Sara, of the 5 regulars is the only one who seems to not have a personal agenda/axe to grind.

  3. just finished thursday's horribly produced zoom mess. Whoopi's inarticulateness, incoherence, and mindless ill-thought out pontifications and "advice"seem to have reached a new "peak". I long ago gave up hope of her ever improving, or wanting to improve, her moderating "skills".

I enjoyed Chris Rock. While they all expressed relief that he was not diagnosed with Asperger's, it's my personal feeling that Asperger's , while a burden in some ways, is often a very special gift. Just my opinion.

  4. on Monday's show, i thought Meghan was (subconsciously?) channeling Carole Baskin. Then I started to worry the yet to be hatched Johnbenghan and hoped to god that they didn't have cats! (nothing against cats)

  5. On Thursday's "discussion" of "Cuties". Of the 4,  2 couldn't be bothered to "do their homework" 1 did it for a little while, the other just looked at the trailer. Their whole discussion was a not only a waste of time, but also a disservice to a film I personally found deep, moving and thought-provoking, addressing a myriad of socio-cultural issues.

As for the over-long skin care "interview/commercial" the paid spokesperson Val Garland brought to mind a badly-aged Meghan, equally shrill and strident. Next week, we'll have Howie Mandell promoting a hair product!

  6. Sorry (not sorry) to harp on Whoopi's lack of moderator skills , but on Wednesday's show she introduced Brian Stetler correctly and then, in exiting his interview thanks Brian SELTZER. Whoopi Goldstein anyone?

  7. sorry to be a couple days behind, but who among us would wear a mask previously worn by Meghan OR Ben???

and one of Whoopi's many many mantras used to be "Do your homework!!!" Clearly that is not the rule in the present classroom/version of the show.

  8. Monday: Megan, check your messages... Nicolle, Anderson, Don, Chris, Wolf, Joy, Jake and a host of others are trying to give you a "heads up" that they will likely be mentioning your sainted father in their broadcasts. BTW, like the new hair.Watching for "pivot" to be the new word de jour.

Joy, take your prevogin. "John Lindseay", "Woodstein"... not a good sign.

Sara, welcome back and continue being just who you are!

Sonny, ditch that 80's cinqo de mayo dress.

Whoopi, "you know who" is getting more than tired.

  9. Thrilled about Sarah's return! I've loved her since her days as Hoda and Kathy Lee's "millenial rep". oh, i have been watching the repeats (some, not all) during the "hiatus" and the one good thing is that NONE of them have VYD's!!!!! If only that could continue into the new season...

  10. one of the very few positive aspects of their zoom format is that, should a major meltdown a la rosie/elizabeth occur, they will not have to have a pre-arranged (courtesy of bill geddie) split screen.

and whoopi's laughing, sighing and wildly gesticulating with every statement/question is really getting on my last nerve.

  11. On Tuesday's show, while "introducing/stumbling over" a topic, Miss Whoopi pronounces the CA gov's last name as "Newscom".  Really???? Not only has he been a freaking guest on the show, he is at this point almost a household word. Heavy is the head who wears the crown (which thankfully she has ditched).

  12. general question and i pre- apologize if it's slightly off topic... I don't watch live. I watch on Xfinity, which usually lists all available recent episodes. i was watching the 7/2 one today, paused it. it's no longer listed nor are all the late june ones. I also checked on abc.com. same thing. anyone have a clue?

  13. Meghan is like the obnoxious kid we all had in class who constantly has their hand up. Eventually, the teacher tries to ignore them and desperately searches for ANYONE ELSE who even LOOKS like they are about to raise their hand.

  14. By themselves, the only really informative host is Sunny (and Ana, if indeed she is still a member of the team. Whoopi being the least informed. However they do manage to book guests who are informative, so i get the win.

  15. just a generic Whoopi post since it applies to every show I've seen this week. PLEASE PLEASE , if there are any actual producers left, remove that Yoda doll from her screen. It only encourages her to think she IS Yoda, and "Yoda she not be".
