I never liked Molly from her season moving in Luis when both her girls were so  young.

People forget what a terrible person she is because of  Pillow Talk + her relationship with KELLY THAT SEEMED MATURE and age  appropriate.

I came into this series right when Luis was playing the music really loudly and locking Molly out. I've only read a little about how she treated her daughters and know next to nothing about her relationship with Luis before I started watching, so your post was very informative to me. You are right about Pillow Talk and the relationship she appeared to have with Kelly, because it really influenced my opinion of her.

IIRC, that's not what she said. She said Kelly never bought her a card or flowers, and made a snarky comment at some point during her convalescence.

Several years ago, my wife was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to have a kidney removed (which completely rid her body of the cancer, as it was still encapsulated in the kidney but would not have remained encapsulated much longer -- thank you, Mayo Clinic!). I absolutely helped her out in her recovery, but never once thought about buying her a card or flowers (for one thing, she doesn't even like flowers). Watching the latest ep, she was appalled at the idea that Molly would demand either from the man she was living with. And Kelly's alleged snarky comment to her could have been nothing more than irritation at Molly demanding Kelly do everything for her after what was likely an elective procedure.

The first few days after a major surgery are stressful on both parties, and things are said that aren't necessarily meant in the moment. Molly should be bringing this up to Kelly himself, not whining about it to a bunch of near-strangers.

This past-life regression stuff continues to bug. NONE OF THIS IS REAL! And none of it can be used to explain whatever personality defects you have here and now.

I'm so glad your wife is doing well and that the surgery was a success!

I had a hysterectomy myself for cancer. My husband was the greatest help to me. I was so grateful that I never would have dreamed of being so petty to bitterly complain about cards or flowers. Molly's hurt seemed so deep that maybe I gave her too much credit assuming the same would be true for her, and that if Kelly had been helpful during her recovery she wouldn't have been whining about flowers. 🤷

She [Meisha] could have done a lot better but I'm sure her pool of suitors was quite low given some of her crazy views. Truth social would available to her now but 7 years ago there really wasn't much in that flat earther, everything is a conspiracy theory vein.

I don't remember her ever talking conspiracy or antiquated theories?

  4. Oh, joy! It's strip club night! 🙄

I'm really thinking the reason Molly and Kelly are here is the money. After what went on in November, I can't imagine them wanting to spend any time together, emergency replacement or not. So I'm not surprised at the attitude Molly is giving Kelly.

Her revelation that he apparently did not help her in any way post hysterectomy says a lot.

The "past life regression" revelations are so hokey. I'm embarrassed for you guys.

  5. Amanda thinks her true self wasn't shown on the show. Sorry, girl, they caught you magnificently.

Jasmine: "Statler, what makes Dumpsey special?"

Stapler's friend is every bit as annoying as she is. And jealous.

I, too, believe the man is the head of the house. But the man, in turn, is commanded to love his wife. That does not include thinking her opinions are silly, not asking her opinion, nor dismissing her feelings as unimportant. He does not know how to comfort or be tender to her. Rolling his eyes and acting like everything will be great once he "straightens her out" is offensive beyond belief.

Yeah, Riley is such catch that I want him to chase after me. If they don't have a Maury moment here, I'm gonna sue.

  6. Today I saw the first episode with Mr. Rubidoux. He's constantly in Carter's face, and when he realizes his wife is actually dying, he angrily takes Carter to task.

Years later, when "Ruby" himself is ill, he repudiates Carter and refuses to have him attend to him. Carter doesn't remember him! No way is someone going to display so much anger, yet not be remembered, especially after Ruby gives him chapter and verse.

In other news, another recent episode was "Love's Labors Lost" which is hard for me to watch. Not only is it heartbreaking on its own, it reminds me of a patient I had about 50 years ago. She was a 38 yr old multip who was just the sweetest thing. She was so excited about the pregnancy and a delight as a patient. As I recall, she had an abruption and the next thing we knew she went into DIC and we lost her. It was heartbreaking.

  7. Jovi. What a juvenile. His only interests seem to be getting blackout drunk and going to strip clubs. But I was still amazed when he said going to strip clubs is essential to learning American culture! I knew he had none, but in my wildest dreams, I never thought he considered the clubs to be culture.

Past life regression. Seriously, folks? What shams these "therapists" are.

Not to be an asshole but how do you have trama when you don’t even remember being adopted? All you recall is being loved. Kids who grew up in orphanages or foster homes and were adopted later in life suffer abandonment issues for sure. Genuine question.

Not to defend Stapler, but as an adoptive mom, I can say it's real. Some people like Stapler make it a huge issue. I had a friend whose adopted child practically hated them, despite them always loving her. Fortunately for me, although I know he suffers from abandonment issues, he is very loving and happy to be with us.  It's hard to feel that somehow you must be deficient - and that's how many feel about why they aren't with their birth moms.

  9. Regarding Luka, in my last go 'round ending last week, I marveled at how awful Luka's temper was. I hadn't noticed it so much before, but he is practically a rage-a-holic and I don't think he would actually manage to be employed for very long. He was always either seething inwardly over something (the nurses refusing to comply in one episode) or actually exploding and having to be held back. I also noticed this last time how often one or another doctor goes off on a family member and has to be restrained, especially in the later episodes.  Happens almost as often as pouring rain on this show.

ETA: Once again, I was the rage filled one when Kem showed up during Carter's grand opening just to twist the knife again and jet off somewhere else. Grr.

Why are the therapists not calling that out?

Hopefully because they want these people to do the work or fail - like Ed did. He's so self-involved.

First he actually admits he cheated, then when Kelly calls him out, Ed calls him a bitch. Then, if course, once again, he yells at Liz for not defending his sorry ass.

Grangela attacking Liz for exactly nothing, then trying to say Liz triggered her was yet another disgusting moment.

This nonsense about Jovi being blindsided by the birth control is silly. Sure, Yara was wrong not to inform him, but how much of a surprise can it be when she keeps telling him she's not ready for another baby? Then, true to form, he goes off and drinks a Jeroboam of booze singlehandedly.

    This show. 🙄

  11. Riley trying to gaslight Violet into thinking everyone in USA sics PI's on their love interests made me see red. First, he insists on extracting an apology from her about writing to his dad, which was bad enough. I have a feeling the reason she was so adamant that she did nothing wrong was that in her culture, that's normal. But Riley can pound rocks.

Christian inviting that total stranger to their dinner was so rude, as was the fact he chatted up this woman in the first place.

Amanda, Aw, poor thing. You sat there practically with a smirk on your face while Razvan told you how hurt he was that you ripped him to shreds. Then when he recovers enough to realize he doesn't have to show up for this sort of treatment anymore, you suddenly decide to be conciliatory. Sucks to be you. I hope he dumps your sorry self.
