Exactly! It's probably on the menu of more than half the restaurants in my city. So I was trying to think if there was a British-ism for coleslaw or ketchup or vinegar. I was glad I was watching alone so I didn't embarrass myself. Then came here and admitted it publicly, oops!

Me too! Or... I don't know if I'd use the word "charm". I find it both funny and refreshing that he's not all that likable and kind of awkward. It's part of what sets Jeopardy apart. Haha, I did the same thing and then felt stupid for a second. Glad it wasn't just me. When they come with fish, they are called "chips" everywhere, right?

I was surprised that none of them got FJ. I didn't know it, but I guessed right! Stupid Answers is my all time least favourite category. It irritates me every time, but at least Alex didn't pronounce it "stooopid" which he does sometimes.

Agreed, Allegiant was awful. Did she forget how to write? Skip the editing process? What happened? I thought the alternating POVs did NOT work! There was no difference between Triss' and Four's voices! I had hope the movie would be good, and they'd make all three, and completely rewrite for the last one. The movie wasn't terrible, but not great either, so my (far fetched?) idea is unlikely.

I would have liked to hear reviews of all the dishes in the quickfire, not just the bad ones. They didn't even say anything about the winning dish, did they? In the elimination challenge, they only had praise for Jesse. Terry and Evelyn just made the top three by luck that everyone else was terrible. I was surprised that they described Shelley's dish as a warm raw clam, since it was on ice at her station. I imagine it took a while between picking up all their canapes and actually eating them, but is that Shelley's fault? On cooking competition shows they usually pretend everything is fresh, even though for production reasons the food ends up sitting around a lot. Or so I've always thought... what do I know?

I think it just meant that she was taking Shereen's spot for this week. I really liked Pierre, but he was in over his head this week. There's certainly no shame in going home on Restaurant Wars week when you've never worked in a restaurant! Although that beef dish did not look appetizing... yikes!

Canada is a small country, population wise, so we're bound to run into them sooner or later! Last summer I saw Emmett when I went tidal bore rafting - he operates one of the boats, although not the company I was with. Tonight, I saw Andrew at a bar singing karaoke! My apologies, I cannot remember what song he sang. But he totally looked at me when I sang!! Neat! Nobody I was with had a clue who he was, or cared when I told them.

So glad Ika took the money. I don't think for a second those letters would have saved her. The episode felt incomplete and had a clunky edit, for me. There was no aftermath to the Letter Incident! And, for the first time, I enjoyed the after show. I liked the ranting segments (which made me cringe the other weeks) where Gary and Peter told us who to vote for. Funny!
