From the coming attractions next week we get to see her big bare a.. On a boogie board!

    Can't wait for that!

Thanks for reminding me of that repressed memory.

OK, I did find the surf instructor's reaction to MJ bragging about her too-small thong amusing...

You could tell Paulina was PISSED that the romantic trip was becoming a group trip. I would have been!

I totally missed the trip was sppsd to be for Mike and Paulina, but yeah, she shouldn't have been surprised it became a group trip with Mike's castmates.

Reza and Adam can barely stand looking at one another.  It's clear there is no love or intimacy in their marriage and they're only holding on for the sake of public image. I also think there may be some merit into the rumor that Reza has hidden assets under Adam's name and now Adam has gained an advantage in the power dynamic.

Adam really disgusts me. The mess he's in is entirely his doing, but he never wants to talk to MJ and sets a hard rule that she is to never set foot in his house again? How exactly is Reza supposed to repair his fractured relationship with MJ? Part of me wonders if it is Reza who actually feels this way and just asked Adam to say those words on camera. If not, Reza is an asshole for being so two-faced and pretending like he actually wants to make up with MJ.

Yeah, I noticed their scenes together don't exactly exude warmth. I'm still convinced they both screw around with other people and, as Reza said it himself last week, Reza is upset that this makes him look bad.

I never really liked Adam. He seems to put up with a lot of crap from Reza, like Reza constantly reminding him that he bought the house and is the one who earn the money. Your theory about Reza putting Adam up to banning MJ from the house seems very plausible, in part b/c Reza's the kind of asshole who would do that.

That reminds me of the Always (I think) commercial where they announce in the beginning that some percentage of women don't realize they're using the wrong size pad.  I don't understand this.  All the different absorbencies are on the same aisle.  The pad and tampon boxes list the other absorbencies on the side.  When you bleed through one pad faster than you'd like, you don't think to yourself, "Hey, maybe I should look into those other absorbencies"?  Like, I don't always accurately predict which absorbency I'll need, so maybe I, too, am using the "wrong" size, but it's not because I need to be informed of the existence of others.  I feel like they're inventing a problem.

I know nothing about them, but I thought offering different sizes and absorbencies was something they just started to do! LOL

Rumor had it that the reason for the abrupt exit from Fixer Upper was because Chip had an affair with a woman who worked on the show. But maybe it was because they were already planning to triple down on their fame with their new ventures.

I heard Chip and Joanna quit the shop to sell premium facial cream. :-)

ETA: That's a joke related to the ubiquitous online clickbait and popups ads from a few years ago that were made without their permission.

My favourite outfit for this week would be this gorgeous silver and lime outfit - why didn't someone TELL me MJ was an olympic speed skater in her spare time..

And that hessian organic growers market bag really sets off the spandex beautifully.

This outfit was the highlight of the episode for me -= tells you everything you need to know about this week.

    "Le'ing With the Devil"

Mike surprises Paulina with a trip to Hawaii for her birthday and invites the whole crew to come along; after arriving in the Aloha State, tensions among the Shahs come to a boil, making for one unforgettable luau.

    • MJ and Destiney meet to bury the hatchet but are joined by Ali, who looks creepy and gross. I didn't know International Male is still in business! Naturally, this means we get to rehash the "Naked Jenga" thing. Again. I had to laugh at the irony of Ali complimenting MJ's hideous outfit.
    • Reza and Adam talk about the "Naked Jenga" thing, again, then about not going to Hawai'i. Wait, didn't they go earlier and cut the trip short? Adam passive-aggressively forbids MJ from entering Reza's their home, but apparently doesn't care about her husband, who broke some lawn furniture and scared him earlier this season.
    • Nemo and Mike meet to get unnecessary Botox, where Nemo first talks about The Letter.
    • The girls have a night out at a cool-looking rooftop bar. Destiney arrives in a ridiculous costume, managing to look both "extra" and "basic". I am so tired of her shit. Not much happened, but GG was wearing this hideous purple lipstick. It's so weird right now seeing people congregating right now!
    • Nemo sees his tele-psychologist about The Letter. I really don't know his backstory, but what he read from The Letter, it didn't seem to make sense. His parents divorced and his sister lived with his father while his mother sent him to live in Iran with his grandparents? This couldn't have taken place after the revolution, right?
    • Everyone gets ready for the Hawai'i trip. Apparently, Reza doesn't pack light for trips. Just how many shoes does this bozo have? Why the hell does MJ have an assistant and why is she leaving her newborn baby?
    • Gah! I did NOT need to see "Satan Andy" at home in his bathrobe!
    • Everyone arrives at the airport for the trip. I realized that Adam was not present. Hmmm... Those leis were embarrassing.
    • They barrive at the "million dollar property" at which they are staying, no doubt paid for by Bravo. Why the hell is MJ wearing an eight-sizes-too-small scuba suit? Holy shit! That "Hawai'ian greeting" is a great way to catch the Wuhan Flu! Was that an authentic Hawai'ian thing, or something made up for the rubes tourists? I've seen a lot of trips to Hawai'i on TV, but this is the first time I ever saw someone do that before.
    • Later, they're hanging out and I am finding myself yelling at Reza for bringing up the "Naked Jenga" thing again. Wait, how'd he know about MJ and Destiney meeting earlier? Oh, Destiney ratted out MJ to him offscreen. Why am I not surprised? Thanks, Destiney! BTW, I am getting sick and tired of them using the phrase "sexual harassment" to describe what Adam did.
    • MJ and Reza eventually reconcile again, but I am sure this will not be the last time.

"Mr. & Mrs. Schwartz, Take Two". The group travels to Las Vegas to celebrate Schwartz and Katie's second wedding, but leave a heartbroken Kristen behind; Lisa shows off the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden; Beau calls Stassi's father to ask permission to propose.

ANOTHER wedding and ANOTHER trip to Vegas? Why the hell is successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbucks hanging around with these people and why does she think I want to hear her humblebrag about her beer garden and the room she was going to design? Good grief, another tacky themed wedding with whacky costumes? I'm sorry, but successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbucks bragging about putting her bra in Schwartz's suitcase so he'd get into trouble was... bizarre. Speaking of which, what the hell happened to her husband? He looked familiar, maybe like Lambchop. That was just disturbing. And then Schwartz was excited about having it? Did he lose the paperwork again? I really don't care.

    "Country Fried Persians"

Destiney surprises Sara's brother, Sam, for his birthday, but she sees a different side to him; Nema prepares for his Boots 'N Brews event; the entire crew gears up for the event, prompting MJ and Reza to finally meet face to face.

So now we know the truth; Reza was upset with MJ for revealing the truth about his marriage to Adam. Ha-Ha! (a la Nelson)

I'm so tired of Destiney and her antics, so I didn't feel any sympathy towards her obnoxious boyfriend. Are he and Sam (MJ's husband) from the same neighborhood? I had him pegged as soon as he showed up at the hotel room.

I don't remember what the commercial was advertising, but early in, one of the guys was dressed in a t-shirt that was basically white with a very broad brown horizontal stripe, framed by two narrower red stripes. I was so taken by a shirt that looks like a Tootsie Roll wrapper, I didn't pay attention to the rest of the ad. Who would wanna look like a Tootsie Roll?  Then I got to thinking perhaps the T-shirt was designed and lots of people liked it, subconsciously connecting it to Tootsie Rolls but not knowing why they like the shirt. Self-quarantining leaves me with too much idle brain time.

That reminds me of the series of Quickbooks commercials in which businesses owners have so much free time that they can ponder stupid questions like "why are pizza boxes square instead of round?". Really, it takes you any significant amount of time to figure that one out?

I'm a little uncomfortable with Randall pranking someone on his productions who, presumably, depends on him for a job. The power dynamic in that situation means the person being pranked can't really say anything if it made them uncomfortable. Even if it happens at the end of production, if the person isn't a good sport about it they may not get hired on other productions. Maybe I'm just sensitive because I know people who work in Hollywood and have had to put up with a lot of shit (including sexual harassment) because speaking up could get them fired and blackballed in the industry.

"Prank Wars". Finally, Tom Sandoval and Max toilet paper Jax’s house in honor of his 40th birthday, but their actions spark the beginning of an epic prank battle that threatens to derail Schwartz and Katie’s relationship.

    • Thank you, successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbucks, for showing us how to give boners to ponies.
    • Katie's having a party! Kristen's not invited! What could possibly go wrong if when she finds out? Sadly, when while reading off the guest list, I totally wondered who Charli was!
    • I totally didn't recognize who wanted to interview Schemer for his YouTube page. Why the hell would he put that with his exercise videos? Was this  a sneaky and underhanded way to get rid of her? Whoa, back off, Schemer! He's not into you!
    • In honor of Jax's 40th birthday, Tom and Max TP his house. Besides being childish and a waste of an important resource in this new Wuhan Flu world, who the hell does it in broad daylight?
