  1. Even with the guest actors you could notice the distance between everyone. walking ahead of each other never crossing too close. The way when Vera went to look at the body in the morgue, the coroner went to stand by the x-rays. It was like a choreographed dance. Even the background actors standing a distance apart. Stuff like that.

It was just really noticeable to me, but I scrutinize things in shows a lot.

  2. I found it very noticeable how they were all standing far apart in scenes. I know it had to be done, but sometimes I found it distracting.

Was the bald cop at the station the one who had blondish red hair?

    Hee.

It's cute how they all have their pet non-CO member.

What is up with SB wearing sunglasses all the time? I couldn't have a conversation with someone like that.

I'm liking Tiffany less and less, unfortunately. She's a bossy-pants for sure. I'm not even sure I understand the tiff between her and Derek F but didn't it boil down to her demanding that she speak to Britini alone and Derek simply asking why and calling her on it? Tiffany seems to think everyone has to do what she says.

All I hear is that everyone this season is nice to each other.  I don't think having an alliance constructed that excludes house guests the way the Cookout excludes house guests as being nice.  I am not saying they are horrible people.  I just don't think they are being nice.

This is part of what bugs me. Tiffany doesn't like Derek F, but will protect him till the end because he's black. She claims that Claire is her best friend in the house, but is willing to lie to her and put her up on the block because she's not black. That's pretty shitty.

I know what other seasons have done. It was shitty then too.

I was just going to post about Stone House Revival thinking that I am the only one who watches. I saw the first season while visiting family initially but couldn't keep up with it because I didn't get the channel in my cable package. I recently got Sling, have the channel, and the show has returned with new episodes. I really enjoy it. The eps could be longer, but I also love seeing these old homes restored or renovated to fit the original history. That time period already interests me, my parents actually live in Bucks County (where most of it is filmed), and it's nice to see homeowners who clearly love their homes and the history and want to bring out the full potential.

I just re-watched the first 3 seasons on Discovery+. Apparently, the new season will be on there after it airs on DIY.

  6. I've been watching old seasons on Amazon. I'm currently watching the Wimbledon one.

I really don't care for the 3 judges they have. It seems like they are just there to make snarky comments and try to be funny.  That said, I never have gotten how you tell a story with a plate of food.

Somebody please forbid the hamsters from sending family messages after their votes. Enough already. Thank you X for not doing it.

    Yes to this. So annoying.

And I personally have a pet peeve about people saying "good morning" to me. I find it annoying, especially at work.

Man, people on Facebook are really mad at The Cookout for being racist and are blaming CBS. Someone mentioned that it was suspicious that Julie outed the Royal Flush to Whitney, but not The Cookout.

  8. Why can't Big Derek say "I vote to evict" correctly?

Why do they do all that hugging and "I love you"s? You must not love her too much, you just voted her ass out.

You would think that seeing the black and white photos and who has been targeted might give some of the houseguests a clue. Maybe not.

Rose and Holly were on Instagram live together 2 weeks ago and they were so much fun together.  Rose really hates Alyssa, their tweeter fight basically confirmed all the things that Shannen hinted about Alyssa creating drama on the set for no reason creating toxicity.  Holly wants Netflix to do a charmed movie with Shannen as a director. I have a feeling that Holly and Shannen reconciled cause Holly was talking up Shannen alot.  The ladies spoke about how the show was mistreated by the powers that be. They gave us alot of stories about the show. The affection between Rose and Holly was evident and Finley, Holly's son even made an appearance to say hello to Rose.  Holly even showed us a picture of baby Finley with Rose, Finley is now 16... Rose is open to do a Charmed movie, she wants Shannen to be a part of it and she threw shade on Alyssa at times. I do think she would be professional with Alyssa if she had to work with her but they will never be friends.

I laughed at Rose saying about a Charmed movie: "I'll direct Shannen, you (Holly) and the other one."

Can you give a few examples of such shows?

Although they often throw in some red herrings to build suspense, most of the shows I've watched on the ID channel, for example, show a criminal investigation that works its way to a conclusion. For example, IMO Joe Kenda's neither a liar or a wacko, and his show didn't consist of him running around in circles.

Sure, there are the one-off shows or mini-series about unsolved crimes or disappearances, and I haven't watched a lot of those - so maybe they also are delusional wackos running around in circles. 🤣  To each their own!

I was just meaning that other shows have lying suspects and crazy witnesses or whatever. I just wanted to start a dialogue if anyone had watched it and I felt like your comment was dismissive and made it seem like I was a stupid for having watched it beyond the 2 episodes you had.

As you said, to each his own. Another one I just watched was Undercurrent about an Australian woman convicted of her partner's murder, even though there was no real evidence or a body.

I got about an episode into it, and gave it up. Based on what I watched, I think the mother is full of sh*t, and I'm not sure what the heck the filmmaker thinks she's doing.

I'm not gonna waste my time and attention watching a bunch of lying and/or deluded wackos running around in circles for however many episodes there are of this show.

It actually turned out to be very interesting and went down a completely different direction than it started.

Most of these true crime shows fit your description.

  12. I highly recommend the Lost Explained videos on Youtube. He goes in depth into different aspects of the show and makes you think about things you might have not considered.

  13. Has anyone watched Relentless on Discovery +? It's about the missing girl in Hannibal, MO in 2009? I live not far from Hannibal, but I've never been there and after watching this I never want to go near it.

  14. Just finished the season.

Mike needs to shut Gina down if he's not interested. I find her schtick annoying, especially when she wouldn't share information to anyone but Mike. They are all there to solve cases, not just Mike.

Glenn is a creep and I hate that they are pairing him with Kristin.

The new guy is boring. Breen was at least funny.
