  1. Listening to the podcasts is really interesting. Lots of behind the scenes tidbits. I love that Drew and Brian attended Holly's wedding (and so did Charisma Carpenter), it's great that they are all still so close.

  2. I had no idea there was a Charmed re-watch podcast with Holly, Brian and Drew called House of Halliwell. It's on Apple podcasts. There is also a new con panel with Shannen, Holly and Rose (and others) up on YouTube.

  3. I've been watching this on Tubi.

What the hell is a "social media chef"? Do they have actual culinary training or are they just people who cook and film themselves and post it? Does "chef" and "cook" mean the same thing now?

I should post videos of myself on the toilet and call myself a "social media shitter".

  4. I've been re-watching the show and have just started Season 3.

It's funny how in the pilot and early episodes, Sherlock seemed like he was going to be this rock and roll version with tattoos , cool clothes and hair. By Season 3, he has started dressing like Forrest Gump. Top buttoned shirts, bad haircut, exaggerated tics. I'm not sure why they changed it.

I really started disliking Joan once Mycroft was introduced.

  5. Well, it's finally happening. Our dog Mylie has finally gotten bad enough that my mother is having her put to sleep tomorrow. She seemed to be a bit better on Christmas Day and was up and about, but she was still stumbling around. My mother said she has stopped eating and has been urinating and having diarrhea everywhere. She's lost a lot of weight too. I know it will be especially hard for my mother as they are pretty inseparable at this point. She had Mylie for 16 years.

    Her at Christmas:

  6. I haven't posted to this thread since 2019 apparently. But I wanted to stop in because I'm feeling bummed. My parents (and my) dog, Mylie is on her last legs. She has a neurological problem that has steadily been getting worse. It started with her falling and not being able to go up and down stairs. She already had arthritis. When i pet her now, she is so bony that you can feel all the ridges of her spine.

My mom knows the vet will say she needs to be put to sleep, but she won't take her because she's not ready to let her go. I'd hate to see that too, but if it needs to be done it should be. Our other dog had the same kind of condition, but wasn't put to sleep until after she started having seizures. I don't want Mylie to go through that.

Anyway, I just needed to vent. Here's a pic of her in her prime:

  7. I just finished watching 13 seasons of Masterchef Australia where the judges and the contestants were all kind and supportive of each other. I am starting this show from season 1 and already the judges and contestants are bitchy and harsh and there's more cussing. This will take some getting used to. LOL

  8. I have never understood them trying to push Agatha and James. He is so dull. Of course they kill off his fiancee.

I can't stand Inspector Wilkes. I hate characters who are just stupid for stupid's sake, I don't find him funny at all. How did he make Inspector?

Actor Bo Hopkins who appeared in such films as The Wild Bunch and American Graffiti has died, age 80.

On the ABC news ticker it had, "Bo Haskins" so I wasn't sure who they were talking about. I remember Bo from a couple of Charlie's Angels episodes including the pilot. And of course, Dynasty.
