  1. Does Andy really think he's gotten rid of me? Just you watch...I'll find those cameras and crash every Beverly Hills biatch brawl possible! 🤣🤣🤣
  2. The final two dates after they met his parents. They showed Gabi going first at the beginning of the episode for the first date and to meet his parents. Then for the final date of the season, they switched the order around and showed Kaity going first and Gabi second. I remember posting about this while the show was live as I wondered why they would switch the order in the middle of the dates. During an interview the next day, Zach said the dates were filmed with Gabi first but aired out of order. I think they did that deliberately because usually, the person that gets the last date is the final one so I guess they were trying to through the audience off.
  3. Yeah, the show really did ALL of the main cast dirty. Why they think they can get away with this and still hope to attract decent people, I do not know. It's the producers' fault this season ended with a less-than-joyful feeling despite an engagement between two people who seem well-matched. One thing I still don't understand is Gabi saying on ATFR she didn't know Zach and the show were going to out her as the one who slept with Zach. But she knew that she and Zach had discussed their intimacy on camera the next morning when he came back to visit Gabi before his overnight with Kaity. I'm not trying to make light of her negative experiences at all as I think she was treated very poorly - I just don't know how she would think it would be kept private unless that conversation was filmed without her knowledge! It would be nice if they made Gabi the next Bachelorette. I think she would do well when holding all the power in the situation. She's intelligent and has a great sense of humor, and I think the producers might not dare screw her over knowing how much the public is upset with what happened this season. I thought the same exact thing but assumed I was imagining it! I even briefly thought she might have had plastic surgery to reduce her chin/jaw line but there wouldn't have been enough time for her to recuperate from that. I guess the weight loss alone helped slim her lower face down enough. She did look so pretty!
  4. I think some of these more recent people hope to get other work out of appearing on the franchise as well as some influencing. Some seem to plan on it and it might be the sole reason for appearing on the show. Nayte (Michelle's final pick) might be an example of a wrong-reasons cast member. I never thought he was very sincere about his feelings for Michelle. He broke up the relationship after only a short engagement and reportedly moved to LA to room with another ex-cast member. I read that he wants to start modeling. I dislike that he apparently not only wasted Michelle's time but viewers' time as well. Gabby's final pick-Erich appears to be star-struck rather than love-struck judging by his social media posts. He hired an agent and has been attempting to get gigs - I guess as a model, actor or involved in advertising. His intentions on the show were ambiguous - his ex-girlfriend ratted him out for appearing on the bachelorette to further a "career in self-promotion" but he seemed genuinely interested in Gabby. But now he appears to have morphed into a Hollywood wannabe and is dating a model. Gabby got the Dancing with the Stars gig and came in second place. She then joined the show's tour as both a dancer and co-host. I wonder if she will go back to nursing or if she will focus on dance. She is an excellent dancer with the right body type but she's in her early 30s so I don't know how long that can last. I was disappointed Michelle did not go back to teaching as she appeared to be an excellent one who enjoyed the work. I'm assuming she did not have tenure if she didn't return to her position. She could have done influencing work on the side or during the summers while still teaching. I think she's still doing one of the popular Bachelor show vlogs but I don't know how long a gig like that can last.
  5. I'm not sure what requirements may be set out, but I believe they do have a therapist or psychologist on hand throughout the entire shoot for every season. We've gotten a peek at them on rare occasions and a production-hired psychologist has been mentioned once in a while over the years. One thing I believe the therapist does is speak with each contestant when they get sent home.
  6. Actually, she was a bundle of insecurities from the very start. I specifically recall being shocked at an early cocktail party, when we saw her spinning out of control from insecurity, and then Zack gave her a kiss, and from that point on she seemed to be in the mix. I had thought for sure she would be outta there prior to that. Yes! I think she was upset on the very first night - she was worried about not getting a chance to speak to Zach before the first rose ceremony. I noticed she seemed trimmer in the last couple of episodes and was especially thinner and more trim at the ATFR. A lot of girls say they gain weight while on the show. I wonder if Gabi deliberately made an effort to lose weight or if it was due to stress or anxiety. She did look great though. If it wasn't for the bond I saw between Zach and Kaity starting on the museum date, I might have thought Gabi was a 'simmering but hidden first choice' like Catherine was on Sean Lowe's season.
  7. @Jax7917 @SallyAlbright @Back Atcha Regarding the bachelorette choice and filming schedule...something happened this past year that threw the usual timeline for the entire franchise of shows off and they aired differently. BiP last year ran during the fall instead of the summer. I wish they would get back to their normal schedule and allow for more time to select from an entire cast when choosing their next lead. They were able to take Rachel and Gabby from Clayton's season when they finished 2nd and 3rd and they have picked from the last couple of cast members from other seasons as well. I think this year is the first time the bachelorette started filming before the bachelor was finished airing so they had more of a predicament. I think they could have still gone with Ariel though. I'm sure they could have kept their choice of Ariel as bachette secret while shooting her first night at the mansion and then keeping her first week of dates in closed sets.
  8. Thanks for your very interesting post! I can't imagine why they would not have contacted you. I thought applications were where they got most of their cast. Perhaps you will hear from them yet...or maybe they are casting for a different age group? "Senior" citizens could broadly fall anywhere from age 55 to 100. I find it odd they haven't mentioned a specific age group. People in their 80s and 90s still hit up online dating apps. They need to narrow the age bracket down. To be honest I would not be interested in watching geriatric seniors and would probably worry the show would take advantage of them and/or make fools of them. Keeping it at 50s to 60s sounds good.
  9. Yikes! That certainly would have made for the most DRAMATIC season ever! I can just see Ariel's brother interrogating each of the men and chasing them off the show if they don't know her birthdate.🤣🤣🤣
  10. I agree there is a chance that this is true and might be exactly what happened. I bet what you suggest is why a lot of the previous bachelor leads have slept with any of their non-final choice women! I guess I have a bit more faith in Zach than most viewers do right now as I'm still hoping it was not for any such reason. Also, I don't think he would have announced that there would be no sex if he planned to have a one-night stand with Gabi. And why would he not have sex w/ Ariel if this were the case? It was clear he found her very sexy. I totally agree that sleeping w/ Gabi and then not picking her made it even more difficult for Gabi especially since she was the only one he did have sex with! This season-ending really was a big mess!
  11. LOL! How many years have they been advertising for this senior season? I'd love to see this come true but I can't help but laugh over the length of time it seems to be taking to get enough cast members. And they never mention the age range they are looking for. There is a vast range of ages that could fall under the vague heading of seniors. I originally thought they were going to do a somewhat older season - maybe people in their 40s - 50s. But now they are specifying 'seniors' - do they mean folks in their 60's, 70's or 80's!!?? They could also try doing a season of all 30-somethings.
  12. Thanks for posting this. Last night's show was a disaster in my opinion. It was too drawn out, the editing was choppy and messy and they spent far too much time giving a bachelorette lead edit that they were not going to follow through on. Following up on the feeling that it's a bit harder to feel happy over Zach and Kaity after seeing what Gabi went through, I just wanted to repost part of a comment I made in the spoiler thread since it really belongs here: The producers/editors share in the responsibility for the cloud hanging over Zach and Kaity's engagement. They pushed and heavily portrayed the narrative of Gabi's betrayal and heartbreak. They actually gave Gabi the 'next-bachelorette edit' by focusing so much on her anguish and I'm baffled by their decision to do this. Any other season and I would be certain that Gabi was getting the next lead. The fact that Gabi 'deserved' to be the next bachelorette after what she went through, makes me even less interested than I already am in watching Charity's season. I think TPTB sort of sabotaged Zach's ending with Kaity and took advantage of Gabi. I feel bad for the three of them and hope it all works out with the engagement and friendships that were forged during the season. I just read Reality Steve's thoughts from last night and he basically said the same thing when he mentions that production did NOT have to show all of the Gabi anguish storylines. RS was focused more on the idea that they don't care about people but instead are fixated on the drama. I totally agree with this, but I guess I'm taking it another step in saying that I think they sabotaged and possibly sacrificed Zach's relationship w/ Kaity by how they presented the last couple of episodes. I hope they are all able to recover from production's manipulations.
  13. And CRYING! Her make-up was fabulous...rarely any little "rivers" of tearstains Great point! I think at times Charity's 'crying' was a performance. Maybe that's why there were no tear stains! 🤣 She also has an annoying habit of touching and playing with her hair a lot. I especially noticed it during WTA. I thought she was frequently rude and uninterested in the other girls. During WTA she was barely paying any attention unless the conversation was about her. The rest of the time she seemed lost in her own thoughts while stroking her hair. She was also signaling and communicating with people in the audience in what appeared to be separate conversations that had nothing to do with the group discussions! I apologize for bringing up once again my disappointment in the pick for the next bachelorette but watching Gabi get the 'next-lead-edit' last night without getting the next lead was a big reminder.
  14. How true! Even without the spoilers, it was obvious it was Kaity from very early on. Ever since the overnight museum date, I thought it was clear she was his choice but I agree he may not have consciously come to terms with that decision since there was such a strong pull towards Gabi too. I do still like Zach and feel he is a good person - I think part of the reason this was a mess was that Zach really empathized with Gabi's insecurities. He was an overweight child/teen and may have understood her issues about feeling second best more than some viewers realize. IMO Zach was a no-nonsense, honest, 'right-reasons' bachelor who had all good intentions and was truly looking for a wife. I wonder why he did not get better advice from Jessie and Sean about how to handle the no-sex decision. It really wasn't a bad idea but he should have made the decision public before the actual dates so the girls knew prior to the week fantasy suite dates began. And of course, making the decision to sleep with Gabi was not a good idea either. I'm still confused about why he did that. He seems to have made it clear that they made a conscious decision to do so and it was not a loss of control. This is another issue that 'taints' his engagement for me - the fact that he slept with Gabi. I really don't think (despite all his kissing) that Zach is a player who just wanted a conquest so this whole issue is very puzzling. The producers/editors share in the responsibility for the cloud hanging over Zach and Kaity's engagement. They pushed and heavily portrayed the narrative of Gabi's betrayal and heartbreak. They actually gave Gabi the 'next-bachelorette edit' by focusing so much on her anguish and I'm baffled by their decision to do this. 15. I didn't see her season and am curious how this worked out. I wonder if she still had them in order to get off-camera time to talk w/ her finalists. If they didn't air her overnights was her season shorter or did they show something else instead of a fantasy suites week?
