  1. I had the teeniest case of Omicron in January. Only a tiny fever for 6 days and a slight scratchy throat for a day. I would never have known if not for the at-home test I purchased using leftover FSA bucks. However towards the end, my senses of taste and smell were gone. They are still not great, but not crap, either. I can smell roasted garlic, but not freshly chopped garlic. I can taste fresh garlic but I don’t like it now, though it used to be a mainstay in my kitchen. So I can understand the spot that Jackson is in. I don’t find him to be suspect at all. In his first aside on the first episode, I thought “what a dick”. Who wouldn’t let the issue be known?!?! But upon some thought, I get it. Throw in the producer driven jive…? I find him a little goofy in a restrained, slightly formal way.
  2. I missed the local airing Thursday, and caught it later on YT. I don’t recall the wording of the particular clue, but the reply was “City State”. When the guy (name?) gave his answer, it appeared to me, that he said “city”, the it seemed to be Ken’s voice that said “state, yes!”. Anyone else? Partner South disagrees with me. I did not see his mouth move as I heard “state”, but it could have been a glitch through YT.
  3. Did the dining room for the EC seem familiar to anyone? Might they have dined and judged there on a “field trip” during the Dallas season?
  4. At the end, while Vance and Kayla were sitting on the bench, I thought he was going to say something to the effect that it’s time for him to step back, and let another Vance serve NCIS. Noooo! I, too, have loved RC since his time on Roc. I’m down with Kayla moving along. I’m sure she will be dropping in again. Yeah, what about the zebras? I can see that story being pulled along on an arc. Maybe culminating in Parker finally telling the rest of the story, oddly relevantly, in the midst of a firefight or some such.
  5. I took Clay’s bragging, as an ACT tutor, to be in reference to the perfect scores of 4 of his tutees.
