  1. MY DAUGHTER, MY COUSIN, MY DAUGHTER, MY COUSIN, BIBBERTY, MY DAUGHTER, MY COUSIN, BIBBERTY...
  2. I agree that having Ted King back is great. He demonstrates a subtlety in his acting that is sorely needed on this show. They should develop him as a whole character. Also, wouldn't it be fun if perhaps he could strike up a friendship with Brooke? Or more than a friendship? That would make Brooke Steffy's potential Stepmother-in-law. That could make Steffy's wigs spontaneously combust. Of course, then Taylor would have to want him as well, as she must have all of Brooke's men eventually.
  3. Oh, so very much yes to this. When I think about it, what Carter and Hope did is disgusting and criminal (also not even close to realistic, but I digress), and yet, the Marones (Maroons? Morons?) are so unbelievably abusive and entitled, that we have to root for team LLC. I fast forward through nearly every scene with Steffy, Ridge, and Taylor. Someone also suggested that Brooke bring back other family. YES! Start with Rick, an actual Forrester, and the actual firstborn, Thorne. I have to wonder if he has any lingering issues with what the Morons have taken from him. (Birthright, mother's love, as well as killing his wife and daughter.) There are so many more angles to play with this show, but they are too cheap to rehire folks to play them out. Also, next time, Brooke, do not lay hands on Ridge. A well-placed thrusted knee should communicate your message more accurately and effectively. I will give Bell one thing: he makes us hate some characters. However, I should still want to watch them as they drive story.
  4. Well, we had a sort-of break last week when we didn't see the Fauxresters for a couple of days straight. That said, we were instead treated to a couple of days of CBS's version of "The More You Know..." filled with patented Bell repetitive dialogue regarding deep-fake AI nudes. Really, how do these people actually think that they are putting out entertainment. They are putting out content, but is insulting to the intelligence of the audience. Today's "Slap From the Valley" was a small island of delight in an otherwise ridiculous series of events. I am waiting now for Zende to have an opportunity to tell the Fauxresters that Brooke told him from the jump that Brooke had their best interests in mind in taking the CEO position, but that he will chicken out or be talked over so it doesn't happen. Not that it makes a difference at this point. Bring on Red-Suit Brooke and end Bridge for at least the next few years. Let's see some creativity. Finding the 10,000th way to play the same dynamic is not creative, and not what the audience wants to see. Also, where the heck is RJ, and why isn't he ripping his father a new one? That would make the character interesting. Ugh.
  5. But, let's remember how Ridge's side treats family. They have a body count (Ally, Ivy) and throw in Emma just to give one to Thomas. Ridge kind of killed Brooke's rapist, too. No tears on that death. Oh, and Phoebe's death was due in part to Taylor boinking Rick. She boinked 3 generations of Logans (Steven, Storm, Rick). All of these wonderful facts that could be thrown in the Fauxresters' faces! Somebody please read these people for filth!
  6. I think that Bradley Bell must think that he will keep viewers just so they can wait and see if Ridge and Steffy finally get their comeuppance. While we wait, they make it difficult to root for their opposition, as Hope and Carter's plan was just stupid. At least Carter has fired a few truth bombs about Ridge standing by while Steffy denigrates Hope. Oh, and this stuff about Hope being the root of all evil. Thank you Ridge S. Forrester (Marone), and yes, the S is for Satanie. I fast forwarded through the mean girl couch session, and one of the few times I paused, there they were, bad-mouthing Brooke. Can someone please slap some sense into both of them? Oh, and I am not having too much issue with how Brooke has been speaking. Yes, she should have talked to Hope first, but she has been very logical about this scenario and has on the side of sensible and moral behavior. She knows her daughter is wrong, and she knows that Steffy is a petulant bitch. What I am now hoping for is a stronger reaction to Ridge's ridiculous characterization of this stupid takeover and Hope's character overall. I want EVERY one of his and Steffy's sins brought to bear against them, relationship be damned. I have been waiting for this forever, and it causes me to skip big chunks of the show. It's only nostalgia and habit that keep me even remotely interested at this point. Time to retool this thing.
  7. Anyone for Luna and Electra's stalker teaming up? They could go to Sheila for tips...
  8. Does anyone else simply hate the Newman family for their cavalier sense of entitlement? Making plans to "steal" a company and already staffing it? I almost hate Nikki and Victoria the most for their nonchalant compliance. Nikki's excitement about her next job it nauseating. You expect this arrogance from Victor, but the rest of the family just blithely going along? That seems more disgusting. I'm starting to want to see Aunt Jordan back in action. Also, perhaps Claire should have made mention as to why she is taking "Newman" as her name. It does make sense, considering her aunt, but her dad didn't do anything to her. Maybe a mention of why she prefers to ignore her dad in this. Hey Phyllis, your dotter has a name - it's Summer! Please stop referring to her as "my dotter" every 3 seconds!
  9. This x1000. Ridge has been an absolute a-hole to Hope a good majority of the time, never defending her when his daughter would launch an attack, and also not stifling Taylor's attacks on her. They should be thanking Hope daily for not Snuffing Stuffy. Why do TPTB write him to be such an unlikable twit?
  10. ...all while wearing a t-shirt that says "Sheila Was Right!".
  11. Well, bring on Stuffy Maroon, and the rest of the Maroon family. I appreciate Hope telling Ridge what's what as far as Stuffy's behavior is concerned, that she takes every opportunity to put her down. Stuffy is as evil as her namesake was in her prime. I want someone to read her up, down, and sideways. Actually, I would like it to be RJ. Wouldn't that just be the best to have the half-sibling choose Hope's side? It would certainly make RJ more likeable. Better yet, have Hope read Stuffy's bio to her. Let's see...adulteress (multiple times), killer (twice), manipulator, WTD centerpiece (both kids)...quite the resume, and it needs to be served to her face!
  12. Typo alert: The mission is to Colombia. Columbia is the Ivy League university in NYC. No big deal, but it gave me a giggle to think of him going to NYC.
  13. It's too bad they did not succeed. They are all so smug and loathsome, I kind of don't care if they are terrorized. What Victor just did to his kids, and Nate, OY! All of a sudden, Nate is the devil. Sorry, Satan, thy name is Victor. Nate saved your life and endangered his career for you in the past you organ stealing gasbag! Nikki is almost worse, with her stripper matriarch snobbery. Nate may have turned for the worse for a bit, but he is worth 1000 Newmans. Run far away from these creatures, Nate! It's sad when Adam is one's favorite Newman...
