  1. Robyn has done nothing but gaslight Christine from day 1 and it continues on. Robyn stepped in front of Christine at every turn. In the episode where Mikelti is negotiating her wedding date it is Robyn speaking up, its Robyn in the interviews, its Robyn that addresses Mikelti and when the date is settled, Robyn gets in between a mother daughter hug. Robyn cannot even let her have that. Aspen lives with Robyn for a time because they get along better. Robyn erases Christine`s children out of a photo and replaces it with her own. Who does that!? Robyn set about undermining Christine with her own children, trying to move them all into a place in the family that worked for her. Now with Christine leaving this new Robyn gaslight is more of a last gasp. It has little personal effect and is more revelatory than anything Christine could say. Kody is responsible for his lack of accountability in the marriage and many many other things but Robyn is responsible for the willful destruction of Christine's spirit for her personal gain. Robyn thought to step in as the maternal authority over Christine's children and it never really succeeded. At least, not in the long run and Robyn discovered ultimately what happened at day one couldn't be erased. Those children, all the children love Christine beyond count. End of story. It's like Robyn couldn't fully understand the power of love because she cannot understand it outside of a narcissistic filer. Neither can Kody. Once the children supported their mothers, they became villianized and rejected. Christine is the winner here in all aspects. Her life will be so much better in mind, body and spirit. let Kody and Robyn spew bile, it just splats back on them and can no longer touch her.
  2. I want to think Gabe knows it is both Kody and Robin. I think it was a tactic he was using to see where it would get him and if it would change the tone of the conversation. Sometimes you have to let a person "win" something to get then off being stuck on stubborn. I saw it a couple times as Gabe skillfully worked the conversation. Gabe gave him little wins, little bits of sympathy and tried to draw him in and get him to open up. He threw spagetti at the wall to see what would stick. Unfortunately where Gabe gambled wrongly was assuming his Dad was capable of stepping up to the subject matter.
  3. I rewatched the episode and have a few questions. How much time went by between the heart to talking ass conversation Gabe had with Kody and when Gabe did his talking head? My guess is several months since his hair was noticeably longer. That being said, what else happened in those months in-between that caused the pain to be so fresh, his opinion so unchanged? Gabe seems to be the son that if Kody had come back at anytime in between and parented his son, Gabe would have reflected on it differently. Instead whatever came from the talk and anything that happened after solidified his view. There are no words to express what a sad sack of flesh Kody has devolved into.
