Sergio said nothing about Uncle MARK CONSUELOS!!! Of course, Kelly being Kelly, had to hang onto Mark for dear life so I'm thinking he had a gamut of emotions.....all negative! lol And you're right, he looked soooooooo miserable and angry, lol. Once again, he's hanging onto Kelly's coattails (as threadbare as they are, lol) even for an ice-bucket challenge.

Yes, there was that and the fact that she also accused him of being gay. It was allover the NY papers for quite awhile. No one knows the real truth, except the two people involved. Regarding Michael getting the job at Live!, I think enough time had passed where any bad press (domestic violence) had already been forgotten by the masses. I want to believe that he's one of the good guys but I really do think that most celebs live by a different code of conduct than most folks. I also think his opening remark at the HOF speech was a dig at Nicole since he said it "was the best week-end of his life." The week-end included Nicole's breakup, whereas the HOF, even though a week-end event, was more or less the one day with the enshrinement, speeches and partying. He could've just said this is the 'best day of my life.' Ha ha, so much for the Strahan kids....guess daddy puts you in second place. (Sorry Michael, but how can you not make that comparison?)

Page Six says it was because of the pre-nup. Don't think she wanted to sign one. My thoughts about Michael have changed a bit. I remember reading the crazy stuff printed during his contentious divorce from wife #2. Then he guest-hosted on Live! and I thought he was charming and genuine. Then he got the gig and I continued to think he was a nice guy. Then I watched the HOF speeches and thought Michael's was the most self-centered. He really threw me for a loop because I thought he was all about family, values, work ethic, etc. All the good stuff all the 6 other men spoke of. To me, Michael's speech was more about him and how great he was and how awesome that because of his greatness, he gets to be in the fraternity with all the other greats. I'm glad I watched the 'enshrinement' ceremonies, I thought the speeches from the other men were so touching, I had tears in my eyes during every speech......except Michael's. I look at him a bit differently now.

That's what I thought too; doesn't she have the best job in the world? I'm sure she'll be back after Labor Day. On another note, the blind item totally sounds like the Ripsueloses.

Oh, I don't know.....probably because in her own backyard, NYC, Kelly can't even go to a movie premier, a Broadway show or even read a book for that matter to discuss on the show. Her excuse is that she's got a family and it might interfere with her being a mom (that's the inference.) Traveling to Canton, Ohio just to blow a kiss to her "TV hubby" seemed out of character, to me, considering how little she does in NYC (unless it involves a stationary bike or big balls, lol.) I'm assuming she left MARK CONSUELOS!!! at home since he wasn't sitting next to her.

Watched the NFL Hall of Fame Induction ceremony last night and was surprised to see Kelly in the audience. Michael referred to her as his TV wife. He also thanked Robin Roberts, who was also there, as well as his Fox Family. Kind of felt bad for him since he had no significant 'other' to thank (all the others did) but he also pointed out at the outset that this was "the best week-end of his life." Didn't he and Nicole break up over the week-end? From the few things I've been able to read on-line, it looks like maybe Nicole cheated with a much younger guy and Michael heard about it, she denied it.....blah, blah, blah.

There were no jokes about police getting shot, and IIRC, there was NO mention of police being shot and taken to the hospital with their condition unknown. It was ALL about dimwit Kelly walking with her little nose in her phone, reading all her texts, missed phone calls and oh my, there she was smack dab in the middle of a crime scene. The joke was just that, "oh my, poor little Kelly walking right into a crime scene oblivious to all that going on around her and her celeb friends." Granted, she may have spoken about the injured officers after I switched channels. Up to that point, nada, zilch......

I thought Kelly's story about taking a class at SOUL CYCLE!! (in case you forgot, Kelly takes spin classes) and then finding herself and her entourage of celebs and a MAJOR MOVIE STAR was so self-serving, and frankly disrespectful. It was a major shoot-out in NYC and she makes a joke of it, once again, doing what she does best, making everything about her. I applaud her for talking about it, but she didn't have to make it a joke which I felt she did. And did you all know she's friends with ELLEN BARKIN!!!!! She's a major movie star and she was taking a spin class with her. Sheesh, she really is such a shallow individual.

And why am I learning this from Tahitigirl and boy when The Pioneer Woman should be doing the educating? I was a faithful viewer of The Frugal Gourmet and either wasn't paying attention or missed the episode when he demonstrated 'velveting.' Thanks again :)

I had to go back and look at the tape to see what you were talking about and omg, you both are so right--one side of her chest was bigger than the other one. Did they ever make the adjustment after a commercial break? Very odd, unless she's been working out one side of her pecs more than the other, lol. Also peeked at the hot dog contest and guess who I saw? Kelly's character from that awful failed sitcom of her's....Dope & Faith! Darn if she didn't act exactly like the character she played on that show--the over-exaggerated faces, the horrible over-acting in general. I guess that's what passes for talent these days. Happy Independence Day all!!

Yes! But I thought she said it was whenever they were fighting. Reminds me of a story Kelly told quite awhile ago where she said she was posing in her mirror one day (I'm sure it's a daily event in her house, lol) and one of the kids saw her, maybe Lola, and a conversation ensued about what she was doing. First of all, I couldn't believe she admitted that she stands in front of the mirror and practices poses, but I guess when you're Kelly Ripa, it's part of your job description, lol.

Caught the opening of today's show and oh my, what a difference two weeks makes, lol. Michael came right on out and took control of the show. It was not lost on Kelly, who even make a comment about him announcing the date and they both laughed about it. I took notice that he really was the lead the entire show, except for her 'umming' her way through her vacation pics, he did most of the speaking, which is a good thing, lol. Wonder if Kelly had her agent call TPTB....hope I remember to watch tomorrow and see who wins the battle. My money is on Ripsuelos.

At least she didn't describe it as 'creamy.' I don't know why, but when she says that, which is ALL THE TIME, I can't stand it, lol.

Was it the young blonde that was on today? I caught a few moments of chat while in a waiting room today and I thought she was fine, lol. She actually 'talked' which is something I find lacking in Kelly. Granted, I couldn't quite hear what they were 'talking' about, but Michael looked like he was enjoying himself.

Saw the anniversary of her farmhouse show, just bits and pieces, and found the little story of how she purchased the farmhouse very interesting. Funny that they were just married, she puts a bid in on the farmhouse (without telling new hubby) she tells him what she did, he calls and take the offer off the table (without telling new wifey) she finds out and the rest is history. Wish she would've finished telling the story.......I'm thinking hubby got a dressing down and never dared do that again. Just thought it odd that neither one of them thought it important enough to share the big ticket purchase of the farmhouse and all that went along with it with each other.

Two weeks at the beginning of the summer because they surely get more than 2 weeks off year-round. Towards the end of summer, I know they are all taped or pre-taped shows because Brown Sugar is either on an island.or in Arizona. I'm guessing in total, Kelly has several months of vacation time throughout the course of the year.

Hated the little puppet play. Same old, same old, Kelly trying to have her way with Anderson, forcing the AndersonPuppet onto KellyPuppet. I lol when Anderson, as KellyPuppet was yelling, 'stop, get away' or whatever his protestations were. Does Kelly know he's gay? Or maybe she knows something we don't.

Agree about all the crap Giada dishes out to her supposed friends, her dinner guests. The other day she served up some kind of angel food cake cupcake filled with lemon curd. When the guest bit into it and said, "what's that?" Giada let loose with a "it's lemon curd!!!" The tone, to me, said, "lemon curd, you dumb a$$!!" I don't know why she always tries to make those she serves at her table seem like gluttenous pigs or dolts, but she does such a good job of it, lol. Saw her show today with the Asian food, coconut milk, curry paste, etc. Anyway, her manicure was hideous. The color was a purple to matchy-match her top and there was a contrasting color surrounding the outside edge of her nail that looked like her cuticles were bleeding. Honestly, the one thing I ALWAYS loved about Giada was her manicure, lol. Neat, clean and always polished with OPI Bubble Bath, no matter what she served up, her nails always looked fantastic!

I only saw bits and pieces of that date night/drive-in movie show, so someone please tell me what Nancy did when her hubby was sharing a piece of his meal, or drink, with her???? It looked like she breathed in his face??? Then she let loose with her belly laugh. As I said, I was only half watching and what I saw looked so odd to me. I can't stand her delivery. She speaks as though she was talking to a class of pre-schoolers. On another note, her stylist (if she even has one) does her no favors! My goodness, everything about her, from jewelry to her skin-tight tunics are awful, just awful.

Hi all! Good to see some familiar faces, lol. Did Kelly mention Michael's pre-birthday celebration at all? I noticed there were several pics posted of 'he who must not be mentioned' with Kelly and MARK CONSUELOS!! Glad I missed the interview with Obama. I'm thinking the prep work for her to be prepared must've been mind boggling, lol.
