  1. My biggest concern with them possibly revisiting Reid's addiction is the writing team. They have a common tendency to sometimes mess up a timeline of a previous story. I would rather them not revisit that though. They have definitely thrown Reid things that would lead someone back to it, but maybe even just a little thing like Reid mentioning to Rossi, Hotch or Morgan that he considered taking it again would even suffice for me, personally.

  3. I don't know how to feel about this. I have nothing against JLH as an actress as I have never really seen extensive works that she has done. But from the perspective of a Criminal Minds fan, I am not pleased. I think Criminal Minds has its own battles to overcome first before we go throwing in yet, another character to the show. The writers and Erica had enough trouble last season with equal screen time by having WAY too much JJ and Morgan with a ide of "the others". They have had trouble with this since around season 7, and I think they should try balancing out all the characters before they add anyone else. I am still on board with the idea of just having six team members and maybe the occasional guest star. No need to make up a whole other storyline for another character this late in a series, in my opinion. Does anybody else not like when Criminal Minds has a more well known person on the show? Whether it be guest stars or regulars? I don't like it because then the episode becomes about them. When they have someone who is maybe starting out a career or maybe hasn't made their big break yet, it is better, for me anyway. Usually the quality of acting is better too. I also think that the entire cast and production crew of the show being on social media has lead to this too. They (mostly the writers) hype about the "famous guest star", etc. and it ends up being about them instead of anything that goes on in the show, and it basically just distracts people from some of the terrible stuff they might have written. It is basically the same tactics that happen with the music industry today as well, but I digress. I guess I will just have to wait and see how this turns out. I don't want to judge this thing before it gets going, but it can be difficult to keep high hopes after some of the nonsense Erica and her minions have cranked out to us. Let's just hope it doesn't end up being a complete gong show.
  4. I am a little late replying to this, but I completely agree with your first and last choices! I especially love his hair on "Corazon". I don't know what it is about that episode in particular, but wow! I will sometimes watch it just for his hair! :P I love MGG however he is, but I wasn't a huge fan of his longer hair, either. I almost passed out with his boyband haircut though! I sometimes find myself wishing he had his hair like that longer than just three episodes, though! :P Also sometimes I think I get a little too involved with his hair... :P
  5. I agree about your spoiler, zannej! Erica doesn't seem to realize that just mentioning a character doesn't mean it is character centric. I find it hard to believe that she was a writer before...
  6. Sorry, I know I am kind of late to the game, but regarding season premieres my order would be: -Fisher King Part 2 -Mayhem -Extreme Aggressor -Doubt -Nameless, Faceless -The Longest Night -It Takes a Village -The Silencer -The Inspiration Also regarding favourite seasons I would have to say season 4 (very close tie with s2 but s4 has "Omnivore"), season 2, season 1, season 3, season 5, season 9, season 7, season 6 and season 8. Season 6 is so far down the list because I had the biggest dislike for Seaver. I still can never get over her lines on "Coda" when she asked if Sammy, the 10 year old autistic child, was the unsub...? And on "Corazon" when she asked if it was blood on the bottom of the suspects shoe. Again...WHAT?!?!?! Also she was about as stiff as a board in almost every scene she ever did. A stand out moment for me on Criminal Minds is George Foyet, more specifically, "Omnivore" which was so well written to me. It still remains as my favourite episode with "Revelations" as a very close second. "100" was such a memorable episode for me because, while I wanted The Reaper to pay for what he did to all those people, I found myself not wanting him gone just yet so that we could see more great written stories involving him and Hotch. Of course I loved how Hotch handled it. Especially The Reaper saying "I surrender" and Hotch not caring about anything that he had to say and ending it once and for all. I get chills thinking about The Reaper story line!
  7. I agree with everything you said, mstaken! Lately, I am having trouble determining whether my dislike is on the character of JJ, or the actress...maybe it is even both. I have noticed that with the increase in JJ airtime on the show, it has caused me to have a negative tone on the actress. I don't want to dislike her, but after watching the actors on The Talk I felt like she was just trying too hard to be funny and quirky, almost as if she was trying to prove that she is a female equivalent of MGG. It bothers me that the writers have let it get to this point where I am even at a disagreement with AJ.
  8. I don't mean to sound heartless when I say this, but does anyone else ever not want the victim to make it? I don't mean for every victim to be killed before the team can get to them, but every once in a while the writers should throw that in there. While it is a sad ending it shows the audience that they are only human and not super humans, like Erica likes to think JJ is. It seems as of late, the only way the episodes end are by the unsub surrendering, taking off and having the team run after them or the unsub killing themselves. Also, occasionally showing this would show the reality of the job and how sometimes, they don't always get there in time. Honestly, I think an ending like that would be more realistic than some of the unsubs surrendering. I also see what everyone means when wanting another team member to be the one to talk to Morgan. Personally, I think it should have been Hotch. He could have taken the time to tell Morgan how to avoid being in the same situation that he ended up being in with Haley. I don't see how the writers didn't take advantage of Hotch/Morgan time or Reid/Morgan time. I don't want to say that I dislike JJ, but I am finding it hard to deny. I am just tired of always hearing her spouting off things about crime scenes, etc. to Reid or Morgan who have been profilers for how long. Are we really supposed to believe that she knows more than them, just because she can kick butt and apparently breezed through profiling no problem? I am sorry, but it is hard for me to swallow that story. I must say I appreciate the continuity with Savannah talking about Morgan's driving, much like Reid pointed out on "The Angel Maker". That at least shows that there is some continuity in that aspect!
