  1. I remember seeing you liking those posts because I liked several of them too 🙂 The archive has some really great stuff! (I'm currently on season 6 in my rewatch!)
  2. "I see... have you considered therapy?" I wish we got to see more of the divorce lawyer! I didn't like how Ross kept Rachel in the dark with the annulment- but it was funny to hear that they had their wedding dinner at Pizza Hut of all places. l o l l o l.
  3. LOL, I do remember that! "Joseph Stalin is the Fiddler on the Roof!"
  4. I wish we got to see Ken Adams more often. He and Regina Phalange could be crime fighting partners! "A hardass and a wuss, we could fight crime!"
  5. Funny thing is, there are villagers named Phoebe and Joey! 😉
  6. This just came to me, but this show couldn't remember birthdays or ages. Joey was the youngest in S1, but Rachel is the last one to turn 30. At her 30th, Rachel says she is an Aquarius. In S4, she told Gunther that her birthday was on May 5th. And of course, there are those 3 seasons where Ross gets placed in some kind of stasis and stays 29. This is only just scratching the surface! 😕
  7. She preformed at both New Year's Rockin' Eve and Joe Biden's inauguration. That was a bit much. I agree with you completely.
  8. An addendum to my previous post: also been listening to this:
  9. The Thanksgiving episodes were definitely the ones you would show someone who is on the fence about rewatching for the first time in a while. Either those or TOW The Embryos or TOW Everybody Finds Out.
  10. I've been listening to lots of MALINDA. You probably haven't heard about her but check her out anyway lol:
  11. I love those scenes mainly because of the way Jen says "My purse my purse my purse my purse". Cracks me up every time. Also, while we're on the subject of TOW Ross Got High, Monica and Ross screeching at each other and exposing all of their secrets is so funny! It's also home to my favorite Judy Geller moment (normally I don't like Judy at all).
  12. The monkey? Not to my recollection. The date? YES
  13. Has anyone seen this video? Literally amazing:
  14. I really don't think that Jack Geller of all people would chide Ross for being too feminine (in his eyes). It would probably be Monica who made fun of him for it (which she did, in a Season 3 episode). I mean, he's the prince. Apparently, they had some kind of ceremony before Monica was born.
  15. This show was really not good at continuity. I know it has been said before but it deserves to be said again.
  16. Ross was a prick who had no respect for his girlfriend as a person and he treated her like something he owned. (i.e. "Rachel who's carrying my baby")
  17. Pretty much, @Hiyo. I'm on Ross's side for TOW No One's Ready. No I don't think he should've thrown Rachel's shoes at her, but it always pissed me off that no one has any respect for Ross (even though I hate Ross). Especially Chandler and Joey, they were just dicking around with that chair thing. Of course Joey wearing Chandler's clothes was very funny but it just feels so... I guess sitcom has to sitcom.
  18. Ok, good to know. Sorry again!
  19. I have forgotten what character this quote was about. Phoebe? Rachel?
  20. Before Season 8, the only time they really had black people on the show were background extras (and there weren't even that many of those) and bit parts.
  21. I really do wonder why there were so many gay jokes when one of the creators of the freakin' show was gay himself!
  22. To be honest, yeah. All of the friends were guilty of gay jokes. "If homo sapiens, were in fact, homo sapiens, is that why they're extinct?" "So, how goes the dancing? Gay yet?" There are also those gags where Chandler and Joey realize that they've been hugging too long (for them, anyway) and break apart as fast as they can.
  23. I'm completely aware of that, and I did not mean to come off as that. Sorry.
  24. I always have thought that Ross is extremely homophobic. He forces his son to play with a G.I. Joe instead of a Barbie just because of the fact that he's not ok with it. I always have hated that. And the plotline where R & R hire the male nanny and Ross completely overlooks that the nanny was actually a really nice person, and just focuses on how he's a sensitive male. (Yes, although some of it might be from Carol leaving him for Susan, I still don't think it's ok to be homophobic.) Chandler definitely has shades of being homophobic, especially when he gets mistaken for gay. Jeez, some of the Friends need a morality refresher.
