My first thought was "at least now the episode is worth watching".Thank you Obama for interrupting a dull episode. I'm sure RC is raging on twitter.
If RC were smart he'd find a way to rework it so the Obama speech was part of the second half and actually made sense.

While I think everyone in this soap has (changed? raised? morphed?) their acting from "at least I'm trying" to full on camp, Duh-nise's accent today was particularly annoying. I was thinking nails on a chalkboard while watching the neighborhood dogs assembling in my yard. Please re-Ava her quickly so we can all end this part of the nightmare and move on to the next GH tragedy (TG's farewell, perhaps?)

And what exactly are a club owner and a filmmaker going to do when they get there? I know they want stife with Lante but this would have made more sense if it had been Lante and Naxie heading off to help L&L. At least you'd have two cops with cop instincts. Lulu would have provided the handwringing while Maxie would have complained about the lack of fashion.
And the two cops can reminisce about their former commissioner.
This might be something actually worth watching.

I was on Ben's side at the beginning but his morphing into a doting son to Clyde Weston has me hoping he goes all psycho so he can be written off. From embracing daddy dearest once annoying sister Tammie Sue left town to loading an app in his girlfriend's phone - I'm not sure he's redeemable (for me) at this point. I think the writers have written Ben into a corner - the only place he can go is full in Weston.
YMMV (and that's okay! )

I'm replying to Sandman's post on Salem's parents and their children's lovelives - you said exactly what I was thinking as I watched the show (but I'm on an iPad....). Parents are either sleeping w/their kids' SO; advising their kids to sleep w/their SO; telling their kids to load creepy watcher apps on their SO's phones; or blaming their kids love life mistakes as a personal attack on them.
It's Freaky Friday and the parents and their kids have changed bodies but still have the same issues.

This was my original thought. Early on he glommed onto Maxie because she's blonde and wanting but once he heard of the Inca Princess necklace he decided to stay, ultimately to get his hands on it. I really can't stand him and hope he's gone soonest.
The nicest thing about the NB is I can watch each episode in about 10 minutes. Lots of FF.
As noted above, again it turned into all about Sabrina at the end.
And everyone best step away from my post as I'm sure it (and me) are about to be struck by lightning, but I think the best thing for the Sobby storyline would be for the baby to die. It would draw Patrick and Sobby together (not that I want that) and provide JT something to do besides look totally bored in their scenes and like he was mentally reviewing the script so he'd be awake when it was his time to speak.
Finally - praise the DVR and you posters- I can record this stuff and FF thru so much, then catch up on what I missed by reading your comments.
