  1. My one nitpick with this show is that if you're not from Philly, you miss a lot of the references to places, phrases, etc.  Sometimes it's just too Philly-centric (and I was born/raised in a small town near Pittsburgh, so I'm a yinzer.  LOL).

  2. I'm watching Kamala Harris speaking at a health care facility and, I'm sorry, I know she's trying to be serious, but she sounds like she's drunk.

Where do we think Garoppolo ends up?

    At my house? 🥰

I'm not happy with Russell Wilson going to my Steelers.

  4. I wonder if they're setting up Victoria and Frank for a marriage of convenience so she can stay in the U.S.  Her waiting on the phone to speak to someone at the immigration office was hilarious.

Are Shred and Patel going into the house flipping business?  I didn't quite understand why Patel wanted to buy the hoarder's house.

Those cats dressed up in various outfits were adorable.  And lonely Frank turned out to be a cat man at the end.

Well, Peter O'Toole was robbed blindly the prior year for The Lion in Winter.  He should have blitzed to the Oscar, and Cliff Robertson's win is up there among the worst ever in that category.  Also, Katharine Hepburn should've won Actress outright over Streisand.

The Lion in Winter is one of my all-time favorite movies.  I still like to recite some of the dialogue between Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn.

  6. Also, watching that young guy Luca Nardi beat Djoker was a thing of beauty.  Djoker looked like he was in a state of shock when he walked off the court.

  7. I saw this last night on MGM+ just before the Oscars.  I hadn't heard much about it before seeing it, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

I figured Jeffrey Wright wouldn't win the Best Actor Oscar because Cillian Murphy was the favorite, but I was ecstatic that Cord Jefferson won for Best Adapted Screenplay.

  8. I am sooooooooo sick of the tongue baths Luna is getting from everyone.  Like her shit don't stink. 🙄

And PLEASE writers, get shirtless RJ off my tv screen!  🙏  He is not sexy!

That was a nice, heartfelt conversation between Steffy and Finn today.  They really tried to understand each other's feelings.  Too bad the writers will probably break them up.

Yes! "American Fiction"! It's on MGM+ and it's brilliant! ITA with making more $ 5 & 10 million dollar movies along with the $200 million dollar ones because the smaller the budget, the bigger the risks-and sometimes, as this Oscar proves, the rewards.

I just watched it today on MGM+ and I loved it!

I agree about wanting more smaller budget movies.

My insane pick for "major upset" is in Best Actor: Jeffrey Wright for American Fiction.  Not happening--I figure if Cillian Murphy gets upset, it'll be by Paul Giamatti (although I'm not sure that'll be an upset since that category seems to be a little bit of a toss-up??).  But a woman can dream.

I would love to see Jeffrey Wright win but, alas, it probably won't happen.
