I agree. She has had an amazing run as a DCC but 5 years seems like the right time to retire. Go travel or back to school or to a job that pays a real salary and benefits. Or just be young and drink alcohol in public like a normal young adult. Don't give the Cowboys your entire 20s.

This keeps happening with Gina, which is troubling.

She looks better at this weight - like an adult woman.

I would love that for her. My only hope is that she feel appreciated for what she brings to the team. Yes, those uniforms are hideous. Chaps (shudder). Everyone has heard of DCC. However, being an Ultra Angel looks like a lot more fun (I am basing this off of Alora Rose's Instagram). I think she is really talented and has grit from her time in New York. I am skeptical of the Alora Rose-keeps-messing-up story line. I wonder if it was cultivated by Kelli / show producers to make DCC look even more competitive - sort of "Being a DCC is so hard, even a former Rockette can't keep up." This may be why we saw so many of Sydney's mistakes - "DCC is hard even for other Prowl Bowl cheerleaders." No one hates the sleeves like I do. They are dated and the material looks cheap. You could update the sleeves and not change the rest of the uniform. "Iconic" does not mean that it never gets revised.

For those of us in the back row, what is an "All-Star?"

I would love to see her as point. I think she is entertaining and dependable. My one complaint is that she has great arms - very defined, and they get covered by those stupid sleeves.

I would make one show group that is specifically for dance / technical ability. But then I would make a different group that is for USO / military appearances, which would obviously include Savannah. And then I might make a third group for DCCs that are more adept at connecting with fans, children (Maddie, Kat, Kristen etc). You have 36 stars, use them for what they do best. Please stop using 3 DCCs over and over again. They ALL have talent and charisma, otherwise they would not be on the team. Stop acting like point is also the team representative. Sometimes she is (Kashera was great at this) but sometimes there are other members of the team who are more adept at speaking to the media.

Because show group is actually not a real thing. It is a storyline in a reality TV show that exists to create drama and controversy. If show group was a real thing, Armani would be on it along with Jalyn. I love watching the DCC because I feel like I could dance like the cheerleaders. And then I do the math, and realize that I am old enough to be the mother of a DCC and that I could break my hip trying to do the kickline.

High school class of 1994 here (yes, I am in fact 500 years old). I can confirm that this was a very fashionable look at the time. We loved a power blazer a la Amanda Woodward (google it). Extra points for the stars and the hair.

As much as I love Holly, I agree with you on this one. Fireball is boring to watch. It just looks like a random college dance team.

There will probably be several women from the Ice Angels who audition for DCC 2021. DCC Kristen was a former Ice Angel, as was TCC Vivian. I wonder how TPTB look at the Ice Angels.

This choreography seems rather dull. I wish they would bring Michelle Keys in to overhaul everything, including Thunderstruck.

I 100% agree with you. Kalyssa would have been a fun "reality TV show bad girl." She would have been interesting as point.

😔 I started rooting for Madeline S. when the squad was dancing at Gilly's (Jilly's?) and Charm gave some sharp criticism. Madeline S. was not defensive, and said that Charm was being honest. Her professionalism was admirable especially in someone who was so young at the time.

I would like to see Katy from UCLA audition for the 2021 season. I don't know if she will, given the unkind comments about her weight. She is in GREAT shape now. I think that she had a tomboy quality that made her appealing as a performer - kind of like Kashera. And Charm liked her. I also hope that Madeline S (the other blond legacy) tries out again. I was impressed by her poise and maturity. There can be more than one legacy on the team.

Only the DCC would have a 25 year old "retiree." 🤔

In retrospect, I think that they should have kept all the veterans and gone with a vet-only team. The show could have been "Behind the scenes with the DCC as they navigate Coronavirus." I would have happily watched that version.

Gina - PUT DOWN THE PHONE. PLEASE STOP. You look great. The photoshop just makes you look generic, like a mannequin.

I follow Holly P on Instagram and her burlesque show is producing a taped performance. I don't know if this replaces the tour that they initially planned. I think that Holly P is the best dancer that the DCC ever had.
