  1. Where did it all go wrong between Kevin and Christmas? Wasn't he ready to dump his wife of 30 years for a chance to screw Christmas in the jury house?

ETA: I'm asking genuinely, not being snarky. They were quite close just a few weeks ago.

  2. Shaunie O'Neal Reveals Who's In And Who's Out For New Season Of 'Basketball Wives'

Interestingly, Shaunie reveals that the fight between her and Malaysia wasn't really about her substance comment but with an issue Malaysia had with production. I'm betting Malaysia was pissed off at the fact that they have a producer as part of the cast, which totally throws off the power dynamics and I would have to agree if that is the case. It would be like having Mona Scott Young on Love & Hip Hop. While I know Shaunie doesn't have as much leverage on this show as Mona does on L&HH, the power imbalance still exists between herself and the rest of the ladies on the show.

But, yeah, even if she's just good, she'll tell you she's great.

Yeah and Elena told the Hollywood Reporter she would hate to have Christmas make  final 2, so that's one jury vote lost. And with how whooped Mark is by her, maybe 2?

I don't want to toot my own horn but I called it in the media thread that this would be a retread of season 16. If Paul weren't in there, these lemmings would've found someone else to blindly follow. It was obvious from their pre-show interviews. Maybe this was Allison Grodner's dastardly plan all along to correct the "injustice" of Paul losing last year. I haven't been posting much this year because this season is seriously boring. Hopefully the producers don't look to the ratings as an indicator. Season 12 was high rated too but is anyone putting that season in their top 5?

  4. I guess I'm gonna be the lone wolf up in this motha but I enjoy what Jackie brings to this show. She's a crazy ass bitch, possibly pathologically delusional, but I don't think she's malicious. When she gets into beef on this show, it is usually from a defensive position rather an offensive position. I'm sorry but I can't stand Evelyn and never have. I think it's interesting that her go-to insult is about people's fashion. Has this chick progressed from the 9th grade? She pulled the same shit on Royce back in the day and she's still talking about people looking like a bum. Well, instead of spending all your reality show checks on designer labels, why don't you buy your mom a house so she's not living in a small ass apartment in the Bronx?

I can't stand Tami most times but I agree with her position in this little battle. Evelyn threw the first salvo by yelling that Jackie should take of her grandchildren. The blogs have been buzzing for years about how Evelyn's daughter is following in her mama's footsteps to snag a rich athlete. And now we gotta deal with fake ass Jennifer Williams? Who's next, Suzie? Basketball Wives Miami was in the past. Why are they trying to recreate that dynamic now?

  5. Yeah, I definitely think Pao Pao is Alex in reference to season 16 contestant Pao Pao. Funny, I've been referring to her the same way because I immediately noticed the resemblance.

I'm so disappointed Megan self-evicted. I was rooting for you, girl! I really hope she didn't make up this racist allegation because that is way low and beyond the bounds of a game.

I just tuned in for the first time and had to tune out. Elena and Jessica's vocal fry rivals the Kardashians in ear-splitting annoyingness and they're already mean-girling and acting like they run shit.

  6. I'm surprised this hasn't been posted. The Hollywood Reporter caught up with 12 former players to get their predictions on the new season. This was obviously done before the new houseguests were revealed but it's an entertaining read and Elissa's anecdote about Amanda alone makes the whole damn thing worth it. And of course Paulie proves once again he's the biggest asshole with absolutely no self-awareness with his jab at his cast mates. There's also a video interview of the winner of BBOTT and Jason, where he reveals he moved to L.A. Now, I didn't watch BBOTT (I'm such a bad fan) but weren't the final 2 winnings quite significantly lower than a "regular" season? L.A. is much more expensive than living in your parents' basement, so I hope he's managing his money wisely.

Admittedly, I love Vanessa so I may be biased, but this season could stand to use a few Vanessas. Most of the women answered that they'd rather lose and be loved and a few want to team with strong men because "omg girls are so catty!!" I'm getting a major season 16 vibe where the girls are just going to go along to get along and let the males dominate the game. I hope I'm wrong. For now, I'm tentatively rooting for the silver-haired chick because she wants to play a ruthless game and stab everyone in the back. Let's hope she's not all bluster!

As for "den of temptation," the name is reminiscent of those tawdry dating shows FOX used to air back in the day and I would eat up every summer. I know "The Bachelor" is hot right now, but please BB, don't turn my favorite show into a Bachelor knockoff. These people seem way too eager to enter a showmance and the producers are pushing that angle way too hard. Blech!

  7. MTV was showing previews for this Champs vs. Pros challenge during the movie awards last night. They were brief but I could make out Johnny (of course), CT and Camila.

I think we're alone but I too was rooting for Darrell.

I'm with you guys. CT has always been able to put on the charm since his "Paris" days and then act like a raving lunatic at the smallest provocation. Sometimes I find myself being drawn in and then I have to remind myself that he's likely a sociopath.

I hated this episode. It was nothing but filler, and completely unnecessary!

Is this not the longest season ever?! And now I read the finale is a two-parter. MTV really is dragging this crap out.

Nicole is so going to get Diane'd....Corry is venting to Victor about Nicole. Saying he is afraid Nicole will be up his butt during the wrap party, jealous, and all he wants is to mingle with everyone. He doesn't want a relationship with her outside the house, especially since they both got out of one.

nicole is in for a rude awakening. And it's sad cause Corey goes on to say that he thanks Nicole for all the sex, but he doesn't want a relationship.

I'm getting the same feeling too, unfortunately. Diane ran season 5 and she didn't get the credit she deserved and we're on the same collision course. Corey is gonna win this game and I'm gonna hate myself all over again for following this stupid show!

  10. Nicole is the same exact player from her original season, so I'm genuinely bemused about people saying they loved Nicole in S16 but can't abide by her now. Before she was shunned from the dominant group in S16, she spent her days with Christine talking shit about all the female houseguests and when she got the buyback, she spent her time sucking up the guys in the house. So thank you peachmangosteen for keeping it real in here. Nicole has never been a fan of women and she never will!
