My poor, sweet Rodney. I like that he's not the usual, cocky type that ends up on this show. He's fun, seems sweet, and appears to be genuine. And I think he's pretty darn cute.

Totally agree!  I really like Michelle and I've enjoyed her season, the first in a long time I've watched all the way through (and I've watched since Trista).  I was so hoping for her sake that she'd break the pattern and choose a real man like Rodney; but no, again it's the pretty, flashy boys standing at the end.  Boring Joe--really?  No wonder all these matches tend to end in heartbreak.  And if Michelle picks Nayte or Joe, I fear that will be her outcome, too.

This show really dropped the ball with Clayton.  The previews of his season look like the melodrama from hell.  If there are any creative minds left guiding the Bachelor ship, they'll immediately film a Rodney season, like they did with Katie and Michelle.  I love BIP, but I really don't want to see Rodney there.  And having two Bachelors in a row would save us from having to see the Bobsey Twins of Kaitlyn and Tayshia clomping out in their finest to announce the final rose.

Hasn't that ship SAILED?  How many opportunities is one guy allowed?

I can't remember where I read recently (Google news?) in an article about the Blake/Katie breakup that supposedly many franchise fans are hoping Blake would be a future Bachelor.  NO!!!  Please, please, no more Blake!  He's starting to smell like very old fish.

I do fear that we are not done with media hound Blake, though, and it makes me wish the Canada/US border would close again!

I kind of half watch this show, but Rodney is just adorable. I'd absolutely watch a bachelor season with him. Make it happen, producers.

Agreed.  I'd be more excited to see a Rodney Bachelor season than any other season ever.  I'd take him in a heartbeat, and the lucky woman who wins him in the future will have a life filled with fun, laughter and that blinding smile!

I hate to be pedantic on this forum, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine that so many people get this wrong: "wherefore" means "why," not "where."

Umm . . . You're going to have to take that up with Shakespeare.  "So many people" are simply quoting his work verbatim.

Please tell me that "I feel seen" wont be this seasons "he showed up for me" or "sex positive."

I hate that Chris S is still here while Romeo is gone, but I guess the show needed someone to be the villain after Michelle kicked out the two most obvious villains last week.

Michelle's fear of not being seen is totally understandable, unfortunately.  I just hope the producers don't endlessly bring it to the forefront and make Michelle seem like a whiner, because I don't think she is.  Clare's "show up for me" fits were so immature for her age and Katie's "sex positive" foolishness was a cheap gimmick.

As for Romeo, I think he'll be just fine!  There are many just on this forum that would take him in a heartbeat!  Romeo, wherefore art thou . . . You only need to let us know . . . 😍

Oh, jeez, Rick. Sooo not your fault!!

Falling in love?!? This man’s emotions are all over the place!

    None of this sounds healthy.

Yeah, this conversation had me wondering about Rick's mental health, too.  For all his quirks, my gut's telling me he's a decent guy.  I really hope he's in a good place and that a possible rejection doesn't do some real harm.

Thank god; that dude was hideous. Not as hideous as Ed from Tayshia's season, but close.

I'm confused.  LT is Clint Eastwood's grandson.  I don't remember much about him--why was he hideous?  Is he being confused with Peter?

  8. I finally got to watch this episode last night and can't get over how adorable Rodney is!  After reading all the comments here about how rehearsed and scripted so many of these guys are, it makes me wonder how many women would jump at the chance if Rodney were the next Bachelor.  Not a typical pick for sure, but I bet the response would be surprising!  Rodney sure seems a lot more charming and fun than what's-his-name that they picked.

Michelle is amazing and deserves a Rodney in her life!

I totally got what she was saying. Spotting a black man with a black woman in Minnesota is like spotting a unicorn. As a black woman, it's hard not to be hyper-aware and self-conscious of it when you're there. I agreed with her that people probably wouldn't have jumped to the same conclusions if she'd been with a white man, because that would just be normal and expected.

I can't say that I understand this, but I'm not a black woman in Minnesota.  However, I am very impressed with Michelle's maturity and disposition thus far and will give her the benefit of the doubt.  I appreciate that she explained the bar situation calmly and without bitterness, especially since she had no idea that the guys were blindsided, too.  It's perfectly understandable that she would be upset after the way Jamie presented the situation to her.  Things were going so well, the only problem is Jamie's, and it's so early in her season for this kind of drama.

I really like Rodney.  He’s not the normal bachelor type but he seems really cute.  She seems to like him.

I do, too!  He is adorable and charming--that smile!  I hope he is the genuine guy he seems to be and that he has a real shot with Michelle.  It would be so refreshing to see a real, sweet guy featured for a change.

I felt creeped out too- smooth talkers left and right and overly animated/intense reactions to Michelle reminded me of Tom Cruise jumping on the couch.  The entrances were heavily scripted, but I did like Daniel's cute entrance with the toy firetruck ride and the light up kids' helmet.  I think that the already eliminated sexy tech CEO Garret should have owned his broken foot and walking cane and entered to The Bee Gee's- Stayin' Alive, "Well you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man, no time to talk!" 😄 I can't stand Rick's vocal fry, I blame The Kardashians for making that slutty-frog voice popular!

The Kardashians?  Is that where that started?  I wouldn't have a clue because I can't watch any of them, in any form, ever!

And Tom Cruise jumping on the couch--brilliant!!!  😂

Most of these guys are too high maintenance in appearance for me; I'm not into the earrings, very heavily angled and tapered facial hair and above the ankle suit pants.  Garret the tech CEO with the cane was super hot/dapper- its too bad that he was eliminated. Maybe his broken foot was a liability for the inevitable group date where scantily clad guys beat the shit out of each other!

I agree.  There was something about many of these guys that creeped me out.  I think someone mentioned that head-on-a-plate Rick reminded them of Conner--yes, the return of the vocal fry!  On the other hand, Nayte and Michelle make a stunning couple!

If I continue watching this season, (if Blake doesn't return yet again), I'll definitely be fast forwarding through the group dates.  I just can't sit through the boring foolery anymore.

I had something else I had to watch last night, so  today, I  got all set to watch it on the website while eating my lunch.  The first words I heard were from a commercial saying, "This is your vagina." I almost gagged on my sandwich.  For one thing I happen to know there are no blonde models in my vagina. Did they show that on network TV?

Well, if the commercial included blondes, I guess it wasn't Tia's dancing vagina.

  14. This was such a good Bro Show!  James and Aaron forever!  (Aaron actually exudes some charm around James.)

And the last exchange between Gro Joe and Ed was like watching Sonny and Fredo Corleone in the Godfather.

Minus the Kendall cameo and repeats of the titty tacos and whippy toes, this was a good episode.  The wrap up and updates at the end were epic!

I am watching the show delayed, and what is the point of the SNAKES??  What would happen if someone refused?  Because I know I would say, no, do NOT put a snake on me!

Good question!  Snakes seem to be taking over TV.  I have a snake phobia and would have immediately puked on the spot and had a panic attack.  Very romantic!

What's up with the awful dates?  They're either violent or gross.  The roller skating one was cute, so clearly they can come up with better ideas!

Why is Ed here? He's the most unattractive Bachelorette contestant I have ever seen.

Ed looks like an extra in a mafia movie.  My impression of him is all beef, no brain.  I'll never understand why this bloated look is considered hot.  These guys remind me of cartoon characters (didn't someone mention Popeye?) and those inflatable dinosaur Halloween costumes.

Kenny is in love with taco tits- for now 🤣!  He's pushing 40 and looks like cheap 4th of July firework packaging with all of his patriotic tattoos and has two giant stars near his penis- the man is not looking to finance a ring at Zale's anytime soon, Mari!

Thanks!!!  You helped me lose 10 lbs.  laughing at this!  OMG--the giant stars!  🤣🤣🤣

I find Becca’s air of superiority extremely irritating.  She acts like such a Queen Bee.  Becca, you are not all that!

I like how she's supportive of the other women, but it's coming off in a weird way.  She seems like their mom, and suddenly too old to be there.

Brendon is your typical asshole, doing what he did to Natasha.

The spelling of 'Pieper" is annoying to me, why can't she just spell it Piper?

I hope Pieper gets swept off her feet by another guy, and when the girls have the roses, Brendon gets neither Natasha's or Pieper's and has to go home. He will probably try to get Natasha to give him hers, but I hope she doesn't.

I think Brendan and Pieper should be made to leave.  I remember one Bachelor contestant made to leave because she allegedly got involved with a producer.  This is much worse, IMO.
