Bethenny said at on one time to Dorinda “ you think you are an authority on everything”.  She was absolutely right.  She lies, and still thinks she is right.  She probably lied about many things in her life.  Now Bethenny had to listen to her crap this summer, like she has the time.  She has Bryn, Paul and her business to attend to and had to listen to Dorinda’s lies about the show.

For whatever reason, it appears Bethenny is fine with Dorinda's nonsense. She [Bethenny] posted a whole tribute to Dorinda on Instagram when Dorinda announced her exit and then proceeded to hang with her. I feel like Bethenny's as full of crap as Dorinda.

Heather Thompson is on WWHL now.  Zero makeup.  I normally like that on most people, but......idk..I think she really needs some.

Why does she keep saying Holla? It’s weird. So yesteryear. Like saying DYNOMITE!

It's so funny that you say that because I didn't even notice she didn't have on makeup. 😂

I guess idiot Dorinda thought because it didn't air during the regular season episodes that there was no footage and she was "safe" to lie about it.

She continued to deny it on Twitter last night after the show aired. "There was no clip or they would have shown it" she said. What a nut.

Didn't Dorinda also say (in a talking head) that she gave money once to someone in a wheelchair (because she assumed they were begging for money) but they were just waiting at the corner for the streetlight to change?

eta: She did! Full clip here (in which she calls the Black man over to take her wrap, and realizes he is not working at the restaurant, and then blames her assumption on his shirt - a shirt that looks to be a classic dress shirt, btw - and then in her confessional she talks about passing by a man in a wheelchair -  who turns out to be a lawyer waiting to get on the midtown bus - and she ruins his Starbucks coffee by shoving a five dollar bill  in his cup).

Thank you for digging this out of the archives! I had forgotten about the gentleman in the wheelchair. Makes her look even worse and she laughed about both. "It was the shirt." Yeah. Sure.

  5. I'm a huge Tinsley fan and supporter and Dorinda was horrible, but some of the things Tinsley was saying gave me a little bit of pause. She said leaving the show proved how devoted she was to Scott and in quarantine, she's been able to demonstrate a side to her he didn't think existed. I hope things work out for her because I really like her a lot, but my face does a little bit of this: 😬.

That's not just a story, that's a thing that actually happened on the show (which kind of makes me think that Dorinda has always been horrible behind the scenes because they could have easily edited that out, but chose to show it instead).

Thank you for confirming this!!!! I couldn't remember if I read it or saw it because it was so long ago. It bugged me and I never forgot about it but couldn't remember the source.

will someone tell me what dorinda was screaming to john.  i couldn''t understand her

oh, i watched some of heather on wwhl and was very disappointed in her responses to ? re dorinda behavior all season.  it was if she was keeping her options open, as if she didn't want to offend dorinda,  just did not make sense.

I'll have to go back and watch again but she said something along the lines of "Don't talk to Scott! You're not his friend. When I tell you do something, you better damn well listen [because I'm a nutjob]". Okay okay I took some liberties on the last part. 😂

I did appreciate that Heather admitted that she did not enjoy being around drunk Dorinda. I think she just kept saying "This isn't surprising because Dorinda doesn't like Tinsley. She has to live with that!" Odd because she didn't take too well to Bethenney not liking her, but whatever lol.

At one point a few years ago, Hannah said something about how "bad" things were - I can't remember if it was before Dorinda married Richard or after he died. But I got the impression that it was very bad. I actually feel bad for her because like the children of other narcissists, Hannah has probably spent her whole life seeking her manipulative mother's approval and not really getting it.

I can't verify but I had a friend in college who is/was a NYer who said she knew Hannah from younger years and said she was horrible. Something about apples and trees lol. Again, can't verify because I wasn't there, but I don't think it's hard to believe.

And it was the way Amelia said it that really set my teeth on edge...the tone of a self-important little bitch who thinks the world owes her, with Mom right there enjoying and encouraging every minute of it.

That really really really bothered me. I posted about it that week because I cannot imagine telling my mom that her friend/peer can fuck off. I just can't fathom it. I wished they would have addressed that more. I thought it was telling that they had Sutton on the screen at the same time because she is the queen of Southern Charm and I could tell she looked a little uncomfy by the Amelia clip.

Best part of this epi was when Andy read a viewer question for Denise, “Denise, you’re one of the sexiest women in the world...” And then the instant bitter stank faces that suddenly appeared.

I personally just don’t find this to be true. Denise was gorgeous, but something is off about how she looks these days. I thought it was rude for Kyle to call her a ragamuffin but she does often look disheveled to me. Even her reunion look is a bit of a yikes. She’s still pretty but she didn’t quite age as well as some as her peers, such as Garcelle or other popular actresses from the 90s who are around her age and still acting now (Reese Witherspoon/Julia Roberts/uma Thurman/ Halle Berry/ etc.). I was a little taken aback by that question, honestly.

I don’t think there’s anything the other women should really be envious of. Yes, she’s had a long career but she’s got nothing on the people I listed above.

Did Kyle say they were afraid to speak up against Garcelle because of BLM? I recall Garcelle saying that—not Kyle, but maybe I missed it.

Kyle said she wasn’t afraid to call out Garcelle on the show out of fear of being deemed racist by the audience. She then said she’s nervous about discussing issues of race (generally and BLM) because she’s worried she would say the wrong thing and thus, be called out by the viewing audience or offend someone. So it was two separate issues. I’m often the only Black person in many situations. I know many people who have no problem telling me what is what without a care in the world but then do all kinds of contortions and gymnastics to avoid discussing actual issues of race in America, so I see exactly what Kyle was talking about.

I’m not sure how true I found her statement about Garcelle but I don’t think any of them really had a reason to call out Garcelle anyway.

  12. I will say that it bothered me that Denise met up with Camille the way she did. Denise accused Camille of making RACIST comments last season that offended her and were offensive to her daughter who is a percentage black due to one of her biological parents. Now all of the sudden Camille is fine because Denise needs someone to complain to? 🤔 I understand Denise not wanting to engage with the other women, but this causes major side-eye energy from me.

Aww you don't need to duck, HeatherChandler! You go with your Brandi love!

(I know how it feels to be the odd person out as I was one of the few, and I mean very few, posters who liked Dorit in her first seasons, during Panty Gate, Late Gate, Wine Glass Gate. And I love, and have always loved Kameron from Dallas; she is not popular at all, even reviled!)

Differences of opinion keep things interesting 🙂

I love Kameron too. She's my Dallas favorite. And I've posted quite a bit on here that I'm a Teddi fan. That's real controversial lol. I tend to gravitate towards housewives that I could see myself being friendly with in real life (Kameron, Tinsley, Teddi, Margaret, etc.).

Again, Teddi is really just concerned about whether Denise is silently hating her every time they meet.  I think she's been the most consistent in this whole mess.  Does Denise secretly hate the group, and Teddi most of all?  And I think Denise's big, fatal mistake was not saying straight up that she's not fond of Teddi.  She could have cushioned it with "I don't know you all that well, we don't have much in common, I just haven't clicked with you yet."

But now, Brandi's shown that she and Denise do have a close friendship, and Teddi won't believe anything Denise tries to say any more.  The text messages wouldn't actually be that bad (nothing in there about the other women), if Denise hadn't already tried to downplay her relationship with Brandi so severely. For the record, I don't think the language is all that indicative of anything, except that Denise might be mirroring Brandi's slew of endearments, which is rather common among friends.  But the amount of texts show that they talked more than "once or twice".

I agree with this. I love Teddi (hold your tomatoes please 😂) and I think she just wants to be liked, which is relatable (and unrealistic) to me. She hasn't figured out yet that not everyone will like her and it bugs her that she can't figure out why Denise doesn't. Denise talks a lot of mess in her confessionals and it is annoying. She's not very bold in person unless Aaron's there. However, there's nothing wrong with her not liking Teddi. I could totally understand why she doesn't. But she's not being honest about her feelings.
