  1. I remember watching the episode of Live with Kelly and Mark that Gerry was on, and he said something along the lines of tending to trend towards women closer to his age and away from younger because he found that there were cultural differences in terms of references and music and such.

I find that curious, seeing as two of his F3 are in their early 60s: Faith is 60 and Leslie is 64. Theresa is 70.

However, judging by last night's episode, Theresa seems like she is a distant third.

And I saw an article today that said that the hometowns are with 3 women instead of 4 because the episodes are only an hour long. How about making them longer? I know The Golden franchise was a gamble, but I think it far exceeded expectations. (at least it has for me)

She was never going to make the top four or five, it was only a matter of time. Same with Alyson, Harry and Mauricio. And probably Barry unless he Bristol Palins his way to the finals. I don't know that it matters much which order they go out, we're going to wind up with the same four in the finals anyway.

And that is why I said this early

The top four is pretty much already locked in, save for any Bobby Bones-type situation. Charity, Xochitl, Ariana, and Jason.

But Mira deserved to stay longer than the so-called "social media stars". At least try to keep the actual stars on Dancing With the Stars for some time, especially when they are doing well and improving every week. I know it doesn't work this way, but Mira, Barry, and Alyson should be the last three to go before what appears to be the locked in final 4.

But, alas, the West Coast doesn't get to watch the show and vote. West Coast has to go in voting blind, if they even vote at all, because between 5-7pm PST people are getting off work and tending to dinners, etc.

Oh well, par for the course with this show. YMMV

  3. I'm so pleased that Stella told Cory about Paul Marks' plan to oust him.

Yeah, how would anyone know to take a picture of Alex and Paul in her skyscraper apartment without being tipped off? Jon Hamm is doing a great job depicting Paul as charming and appearing to be sincere, but he is not a good guy.

Cory telling Bradley that they're just two people who use each other was so needed, because he's right. Except I do think that he was genuine in his support of Bradley to a point, but he now sees that she uses him.

  4. Why can't Charmaine just be gone and stay gone? If there is any character on this show that is insignificant, it's her. The twins aren't Jack's, we can all move on. But now that she's wrapped up with Calvin, all hell will break loose again and we'll have to suffer with more Charmaine.

I like Brie with Mike and Brady with the new girl. Those pairings seem more complimentary to each other.

Preacher had a perfectly lovely woman with the do jo (?) teacher that he stupidly broke up with for Paige. And now he's with Kaia and her mess. That man walks straight towards red flags.

Jack and Mel buying the farm was pretty predictable, but at least Lily's legacy is in good hands. And it gives them more space than the cabin.

A lot happened this season with very little time passing. I really don't understand the writers having 5 seasons last within one calendar year. One good thing about the upcoming Christmas special means that some point soon, maybe at the start of season 6, the show will finally be in a new year.

  5. I know we're all supposed to dislike Cory because he's smarmy or whatever, but at least he's charming and enjoyable. I find Bradley to be the bigger asshole, and after everything Cory has done for her - clean up her mess and give her the nightly news gig she wanted - the way she treats him is infuriating. And any time there is tension between them, and certainly after she gets what she wants from him, she goes running to Laura Peterson.

Alex's back and forth with Paul Marks throughout the episode, especially during the interview, was good stuff. (and Chip was totally jealous! lol) Them hooking up might have repercussions, but I'm not mad at it because chemistry is great and they're both hot. (YMMV)

  6. Finally getting started on this season...

So Preacher breaks up with a great woman for Paige, who then tells Preacher she's leaving town to start over, and now he's hooking up with the firefighter. And all of this happened in the span of like two days.

I liked the vibe between Brie and Mike, and I wouldn't hate it if they got together instead.

  7. This is such a fun, light, sweet version of the Bachelor/ette franchise. The women are very endearing and it's a nice change from the cattiness. And Gerry seems very sincere.

I'm already going to set my prediction. (please beware of spoilers under the tag) Based off of the promo for the season - who it appears Gerry is walking into the sunset with during the final rose ceremony, combined with a spoiler I accidentally saw for his Final 3,

    Spoiler

I think Gerry picks Leslie, the dance/fitness instructor who apparently once dated Prince. I was, and am still hoping, it's Theresa. But I guess we'll see.

The fact Erika tried to drag Denise about her onlyfans when she couldn’t give her fucking tickets away for her residency for $7 is truly Karma working it’s magic and I kinda live for that

The absolute gall of Ozempika, but Karma doesn't miss and she got hers with her flop show.

Not sure if this is accurate, but I hope it's true:

  9. Kyle's finally going to get the attention she's been begging for...only not the way she wants.

I hope these women get on her neck. (of course, Erika and Dorit won't)

Great to see glimpses of Denise, Camille, Kim and Ms. Cynthia Bailey.

ETA: @MaggieG great minds think alike!

  10. After Charity's Men Tell All and learning a bit more and Gerry and his story, I am actually looking forward to watching the Golden Bachelor. He seems kind, and my heart broke for his story with this wife. So sad, but maybe - if you believe in such things - she'll send him a nice woman to live out this chapter of his life with.

Or, at the very least, this helps him dip his toe back into the dating pool and he has some good clean fun.

  11. That music video is so cringe (and not because of the lady loving).

Kyle is so awkward. She's not a good actress - not that I think she's doing much acting in this, anyway.

The M tattoo on her ribcage definitely is not for her (ex? estranged? maybe they have an open marriage?) husband "Mauricio" and is definitely for "Morgan".

  12. Clearly, the allegations that happened between Brandi and Caroline is the reason Morocco is being delayed. I think there may even be a lawsuit pending? They can't take assault lightly (nor should they).

I'm okay with the delay, I can't wait to see the OG RHONY girls back in action. I wish a few more of the legends were involved, but perhaps if this is a success then they'll do another one…

I realize this show is bizarre and ridiculous sometimes, but I still love it. It makes very little sense. Everyone is acting like Cal murdered someone. He punched a guy! I still love the over the top, puritanical, judgmental gorgeous town. I even love the teen plot. I wish they’d cut Justin Bruenings hair, but maybe it’s supposed to show he’s going through it.

Yeah, this show is good ol' fashioned light entertainment. Fluffy fun. I enjoy it enough.

I don't care for the teen plot, but YMMV. The thing I dislike the most is Jamie Lynn Spears.
