    Maybe that’s why he was so upset? Because it happened when she and the kids were there instead of earlier? Pure cynical speculation from me!
     

    While I’m here: why did Dorit move the kids from her bed that night? Apparently they always sleep in her bed when PK is away. Why different this night?

    I think the break in was a fake one (for insurance purposes but doesn’t hurt to have given her a storyline either) because:

    1/ I don’t believe they own $1 million worth of cash and valuables

    2/ Dorit was too carefully dressing down/wearing no makeup/tear free crying

    3/ My gut feeling!

    Keeping a spotlight on the term “put a pin in it”, because I want to flog it to death in the spirit of all things Housewife:

    Shannon was objecting to Gina’s over INFLATED ego so it makes perfect sense that she wanted to put a pin in it to DEFLATE it. Heather and her little gang then getting all excited for a Shannon gotcha moment about her misusing the phrase is just so silly… everyone knows what Shannon meant.

    S16.E14: The Exorcism of Gina

    While there’s parental love, there’s a level of ADORATION that Gina’s father has for her that seems a bit much. That’s a source of fuel for Gina’s inflated sense of self.

    I’m thinking this even though I value a healthy sense of self worth and value the importance of parent love, especially a father for a daughter.

    Ryne is rough around the edges but we don’t know his story…. Why he doesn’t drink/why the dog is his crutch/why he doesn’t speak up/why why why.

    If Jen was a man and Ryne was a woman I think we would see Jen more clearly as a manipulative controlling person… possibly (probably?) emotionally ‘abusive’. As a society we don’t call it out as much when it’s a woman being demeaning and awful to her spouse. Up until now I’ve seen Ryne as a bit of a douche but now I’m seeing him tolerating Jen and swallowing down his true emotions. They will burst out one day.

    I don’t believe for a minute that they are going to build another monstrosity…. I think it’s all just a storyline for the show. Like Tamra having a baby ha ha ha! Or am I confused with the other hundred Housewives who had a try.for.a.baby.storyline?!

    ps. Your avatar is my favourite painting!  I’ve seen in it person in Den Haag (The Hague) when travelling in the Netherlands… back in an almost forgotten time of travel.
