  1. Should've been Kodi, V.Unbeatable, Light Balance Kids and Benicio Bryant in the top 4. Still beyond livid that two f**king choirs made it. With that said, Ndlovu was far superior than DYC... and didn't resort to singing the same f**king song twice. JOKE that they made it.
  2. I'll update later to not include spoilers like I just did.
  3. Also... wtf happened with Julianne's glitter in her hair last night? It's like her stylist spilled a bottle of glitter, that was supposed to be a design. Lol.
  4. Not gonna lie... Kodi had me in tears last night. He's been the chosen one from the beginning, and I'm definitely more than okay with him winning. With that said, I'd give it to either V. Unbeatable or Light Balance Kids (aka the acts I would gladly pay monies to see for 1.5-2 hours).
  5. Two frickin choirs?? Go to a local HS, church for choirs. 3 if you include VOS. The two choirs belong in already existing CHOIR competitions. Sorry, I wouldn't pay to see them for 1.5-2 hours. Marchin, Chris, Luke should've made it. Can't have the best singers to compete against Kodi, whom I adore btw. I'm beyond angry... and I'm reminded why I quit watching AGT for years due to people voting for *ss-clowns over actually talented people. (Unless the show is rigged and votes don't matter)
  6. For a glorified singing competition... surprised Chris, the best frickin singer this season, was voted off. 🙄 With that said, V. Unbeatable for the win please.
  7. Review of last night's Semi's Round 1 Ansley Burns: Very adorable... yet seems younger than 12/13. (She is rather adorable as hell... so it's hard for me to be a complete butt-cheek to a teen. But since she is a teen... or close enough to it... I'll treat her like one). She acts like she's 6 (I know she can't help how young she looks). I feel if she waited a few years, since she does have raw natural vocal talent, it would have worked out better for her. With that said, she needs to go... like the first 2 times she was cut. * Honestly, she should join G-Force. They all look younger than they are and could use a few years to develop their singing skills. * Ndlovu Youth Choir: My thoughts on any choir on AGT, unless they are a quartet through octet choir... they all need to join the already existing State, National, and World CHOIR Competitions. Some of the biggest ones give out scholarship monies. (For AGT, there shouldn't be any choir act with more than frickin' 8 people. Especially for the voting disparities). With that said, both this and Detroit Youth Choir need to look into already existing choir competitions... they would absolutely kill it. Tyler Butler-Figueroa: Awesome. Again, I know this is self-serving... as an individual who started playing piano at 7, viola at 9 and was a part of *choirs*... Tyler is very talented. He's only eleven years old and has impeccable stage presence and his skills will only get better. (And for AGT audiences, he's got the backstory) Messoudi Brothers: As a heterosexual female. I'm annoyed. Then again, I get annoyed all the time when acts rely only on their looks/lack of clothes. Choose one... Male Strippers or Strong Men variety act. They'd be sexier to me... if they had a shirt on. Over them. Plus ... their act was getting stagnant. They might be on the bubble since old horny ladies probably voted for them. I'm hoping they get the boot. =/ Greg Morton: I love him. Why oh WHY didn't he do standup... and fusion it with his amazing vocal abilities? I wouldn't be surprised if he is eliminated. Kodi Lee: I'm biased because I know two autistic people personally, and I'm friends with one that works with autistic children daily. I love Kodi. What he does is beyond. ❤️ Jackie Fabulous: Once again, her comedy is laid back and it's free flowing and natural like a female. HarHar. =P With that said, she'll most likely be in the Dunkin Save or booted. I can't recall if any comedian's ever won AGT. (I've skipped a lot of seasons due to it crowning singers every year). Robert Finley: I gave him maaaad crap last week during my first post on PrimeTimer... because I've never seen talented soul singers that couldn't play instruments. I will gladly eat crow, and say I'm happy he played guitar last night! Too little too late for me, personally. I split votes between him and Eric Chien. I wish Robert started with playing the guitar. (If he makes it to the finals... I want to see JUST him and the guitar). Eric Chien: I felt like I was cheated. I was rooting for him to make it... but at the same time, it seemed as if Simon Cowell made sure to put Eric at a disadvantage by putting him on last night as opposed to next week. I feel Eric might be in the Dunkin Save. Also... his act last night... for a lack of a better word, sucked. =( I hate saying that... since he seemed more confident! Light Balance Kids: I've always liked them... I'd actually pay to see them do a full 1.5 hour show. I'd love a showdown between LBK and V. Unbeatable. LBK are solidly in my Top 5. Benecio Bryant: He's the second best singer left after Chris Klafford... in my opinion. Although I felt his song wasn't as good as last week... I still think he needs to learn how to play a damn instrument. (Or learn how to dance). Either combination will take him to the next level. Dammit... how many frickin singers are going to be in the finale?? Ugh. Maybe they should just rename this show: "America's Got Singing Talent... with Variety Acts that may steal the Singer's Spot"
  8. Whelp, guess Robert Finley does play an instrument! I wish he started with the guitar in the earlier rounds. =(
  9. Thank you! 😜 I only watched the Champions after skipping Seasons 2- Whatever season Terry Fator was on, then skipping to Darci Lynn's season then skipped til Champions and gave it a chance again this season. (I skipped a bunch of seasons due to the show being another Idol show instead of a true variety show) I do agree with your 3 points!
  10. I liked them initially. I found the songs they chose were too "big" for them. Meaning, the vocalists were barely audible to me and one of them was super flat half the time and super sharp the other half... but it was also so softly sung the off pitch-ness was glaringly obvious. When I first saw them, I thought they'd be like Naturally 7 (Please youtube them when you have time). Naturally 7 is amazing, and I believe would absolutely win AGT if they ever auditioned.
  11. *I am a new poster here, so If I wasn't supposed to put this giant novel in this particular thread, please let me know so I can put it under E:16 Quarterfinals 3 post. (Although I already posted a lengthy one earlier) I figured I'd wait until after the results to post opinions on those that went through. 😁* I agree with all that went through tonight, except for Detroit Youth Choir. (I would've placed Mackenzie instead... but although I love love LOVE Bowie, his rendition didn't do it for me and I found him out of tune the first half. I still believed he should've gone through purely on vocal talent alone). Which brings me to Two choirs? Is that necessary? I don't find either one of them "incredible". I feel both belong in already existing State and National choir competitions around the US instead. Obviously, I'm in the minority...but I think of this show as who's the best of each category... then the winner should be whomever will obviously do well in a 1.5-2hour show in Vegas that I'd pay to see. 😛 Though I like Dom, his "trick" was so one note and obvious that no matter what... it would lead to Tape Face. Let's not pretend he (Tape Face) didn't just go under the projector and stood behind the giant banner until the reveal either. I do, however, like Dom. He seems like a genuinely good person. I find his tricks to be more geared towards kids... which is fine. He'll do well anyways... since it seems Simon is pushing Dom over Eric. Eric, his delivery definitely needs work. He seems even more nervous during the live shows... but I do find his tricks on par with Shim Lim, even though they do different types of tricks. If he could amp up his stage presence while doing his amazing tricks, he will do well. Hell, even if he doesn't win (I doubt he will since his act is too similar to Shin Lim)... he'll be making monies doing shows afterwards. Emanne, the chosen little girl phenom for this season. I can see her winning, or being runner up. I believe in a few years after her voice matures more and she can still sing... she'll make hella monies traveling with a full orchestra doing concerts. She'll be fine even if she doesn't win... and she's still a child. Benecio, nuff said. He's the second best vocalist IMO behind Chris Klafford. I can't remember if he plays an instrument or not, but if he could... it'd be nice to see him sit with an acoustic guitar and sing. If not, hopefully he learns in the future because I don't see him as a dancer/singer. I think playing an instrument while singing will put him on the next level. The kid has massive vocal talent. Marcin, Was shocked he was even in the Dunkin Save talk. What he does is absolutely amazing. (I know this is self serving, but as someone who can play various instruments... what Marcin can do with an acoustic guitar is beyond the level anyone his age should be able to do. I couldn't play like that... and I've played guitar for almost 20 years). Jackie Fabulous, I think she's naturally funny. She reminds me of my girlfriends who just tell me stories as if we're having a conversation. I bet her shows are more raunchy... but for AGT and because of kiddos watching, she's watered down her jokes. (Well, honestly all of the comedians have to obviously). I bet she's more funny at her regular shows. I think that covers it. There's really only a few standouts this season... hopefully it'll be less of a snooze fest next week. ❤️
  12. I think I'm the only one... I do not see the appeal of Robert Finley. I love him as a person but even though he has a good voice with so much soul... it's very off key most of the time. =/ And I am a buttcheek who holds a bit of a judgemental streak with people who can't play at least "one" instrument, especially if they supposedly write their own songs. More so for genres that Robert Finley sings. (Yes, I know he's blind). If that makes me a <insert whatever curse word> so be it... it's purely my opinion. And I especially wouldn't want to see his act at a Vegas show just standing up there basically doing karaoke. =(
  13. I think I'm the only one that wasn't impressed with Dom. Basically no matter what the starting point of the "trick", it was arranged for the exact same outcome to be Tape Face. I do agree that most children would love his shows... Why are there choirs on the show? Unless they are UNBELIEVABLE, especially youth choirs should stick to National competitions for vocals/school choirs. I know they have them, because I used to compete in quartet choirs and school choirs around my State back in grade-school through middle- school. Since this show is usually "let's crown a singer". (No matter how awesome Terry and Darcy Lynn is with their ventriloquism... they wouldn't have won without the combination SINGING ability). I was positive Shin Lim wouldn't win last year since he didn't sing... but maybe his piano playing in the finale got him the win. (I kid... he was amazing at card tricks <3). Was very happy a non singer won. This year... obviously it's going to be Kodi, right? Maybe Emanne since she's an opera SINGER and a cute precocious little girl? My finals would be V. Unbeatable <-- simply amazing. I liken them to a super group of competitive Cheerleaders mixed with martial arts, b-boying. Even if they don't win... there's plenty of dance contest/championships they would absolutely crush. (Plus them winning would leave back to back winners of the "variety" kind) Chris Klafford is IMO the best vocalist left on AGT. Benicio comes 2nd, and Kodi 3rd (Purely for vocals... I love Kodi and what he does is crazy). Nobody really stands out for me other than a select few that I've already mentioned.
