  1. When the guys were sitting at the outdoor cafe encouraging Winston to say something to the girl, what was it he blurted out when he turned around? It was just some nonsense that made no sense but it cracked me up.

Thought it was a pretty decent episode. The last couple have been more reminiscent of the earlier seasons when they're just doing wacky stuff and not trying to be all angsty over relationships. Schmidt's glitter bronze was hysterical.

Winston shouted: "Shawty, what that thang do"? lol

This was the funniest episode in ages! It had very little Nick which was great because he's only funny in small doses to me. I kinda love Councilwoman Fawn Moscato and could care less about Schmidt and CeCe getting back together. Just like Nick and Jess they work better as friends.

  2. I just noticed the next episode is called "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

So... good call. Not Rihanna always, but definitely song titles this season!

Damn, I was hoping for 'Disturbia' next week! That Taylor Swift song seems a little light for a crumbling marriage.

Is Gabe trying to step on Max's hair game? It's totally not going to work. You can never be Max. All of these kids look older to me this season. It's apparently been awhile since I've seen this show because they all look a little different.

Gabe's hair was extra fluffy but Ofe's was a crunchy dry mess last week so I'll take any improvements. I thought all the teens looked strange this week. I don't know if it was bad lighting or makeup issues but everyone looked pale. Even Max's hair wasn't up to it's season one glory!

I've never liked Taylor so the breakup is fine by me. I secretly wish Max and Carter could get back together but this show has more than enough drama already.

  3. USA Network seeks grittier image:

The general-interest cable network, trying to halt a decline in ratings, revealed programming plans with a marked shift away from the lighter procedural fare of "Monk," "Psych" and "Burn Notice" of a few years back. USA is turning to darker and, its executives clearly hope, more buzzworthy shows with ongoing stories.

Chris McCumber, USA president, said the network wanted to appeal more to millennials and "reflect the character and the spirit of the country as we see it."

USA's package of programs under development include a comic book adventure, a soldier recruited into a world of crime, a dystopian drama and a show about friends getting into the legal cannabis business in Colorado. USA is also trying to increase live programming, and will pick up the WWE's "Smackdown" from SyFy next year. NHL playoff hockey will also be shown on USA.

I gave Dig a chance and I'm still watching Suits for some reason but I think I'm done with this network.

  4. In honor of Hannah's mom I opened up some Riesling...not too sweet.

Hannah’s hair during her "panic attack" was really cute but then Fran had to ruin the moment with his kindness! Trust your instincts and get the hell away Fran!

If a guy told me he'd “be in love with me soon” I'd laugh in his stupid face. So happy Shosh is going to take the job.

Ray was awesome as usual, so of course he'll end up with Marnie who won't appreciate him. It'll be Charlie all over again. Remember him Ray? You used to be friends.

I challenge everyone to use the phrase “for obvious reasons I'm not going to cover my vagina” sometime this week! Bonus points if it's not during sexytime. :)

  5. Twitch & Travis Wall to serve as Mentors this season

Beginning in the Las Vegas callbacks round, the dancers will be divided into the best street and best stage dancers. Travis will mentor the stage dancers and tWitch will mentor the street dancers. Although they have never faced each other in competition, they will go head-to-head now, fighting for one of their dancers to be crowned America's Favorite Dancer. So You Think You Can Dance premieres Monday, June 1 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The STAGE dancers will feature those trained in styles such as contemporary, ballet, jazz or tap; and the STREET dancers, hopefuls skilled in styles such as hip-hop, animation or breaking. When the competition goes “live,” the Top 20 will be challenged weekly to perform a variety of styles, working with world-renowned choreographers. One dancer from each genre will be eliminated each week leading up to the Season Finale. Who will win…a dancer from the stage or the street?

Not sure if I like all these changes but the move to Monday's is better for my DVR.

  6. I hope Harvey's new secretary is intelligent and professional. I don't need any more reminders of how awesome Donna is at everything!

Ooh, is Mike's former secretary still looking for work? She'd fit right in at PSL.

  7. Speaking of fixing the show: I think Ellen should've filmed two pre-taped segments for every episode. One at the beginning to talk about her love of design while showing a piece she loves/owns and a segment at the end about the eliminated designer and what she appreciated about their work. Then eliminate all the "funny" Ellen videos and she could show up for the finale.

Another lady here who loves Tim's designs! I'd put his shelf in my dream apartment I saw on House Hunters in Philadelphia. :)

I'm more offended by Katie's chunky boots than her voice at this point.

    * I love this forum! What's everyone watching after the finale for their design fix?

  8. I guess I'm the only one who slowed down the preview to see who won? :)

Tim & Katie are the final two and Tim wins. Katie is standing next to Ellen and Tim is getting a hug from 2 ladies & his carpenter is on stage clapping.

I wish the show didn't eliminate any designers and had a points system instead. I'd love to see six different designs each week.

  9. I can't believe I let the previous episode convince me that these characters might actually do something! Everyone is stuck and it's starting to piss me off. I'd like to see how the dynamic of the group would change if one of the girls was actually successful. It'd be hilarious if Marnie's boring music took off just to see the look on Jessa's face.

Does anyone have a clip of that scene or the dialogue? I totally missed it.

Jessa: How have your nights been with uh whatsherface?
    Adam: [laughs] good, good.
    Jessa: right...
Adam: It's not like I see her everyday or anything.
Jessa: You're a liar. I mean it's cute, its very funny but y'know...[goes off to pee in the street!]

This also changes my interpretation of the earlier scene where Adam asks Jessa if she thinks it's okay to throw away Hannah's refrigerator magnets. I thought he was just being weird and dramatic. lol

  10. I'm a Grand Slam tennis fan and don't tend to watch any of the other tourneys through the year, so question for those of you who do - is the Serena/Sharapova final ho-hum, more of the same or is it exciting to see the top two players meet for the title?

I wanted to answer your question earlier but I was worried I'd jinx Serena. I thought I might have used up all my sports wishes keeping the Dallas Cowboys from getting to the Superbowl but Serena got to 19 anyway! :)

There's nothing I love more than watching Maria lose, so I'm always excited to see them play in a Final!

As for the Men: I don't care for either player but I want Murray to win so everyone who gave Amelie Mauresmo a hard time for coaching a Men's player can eat a bowl of crow!

  11. The Australian Open begins on Sunday! I'm never ready for the season to start. It's cold and I've got football to watch.

The Tennis Channel has an Aussie Open Preview on Sunday at 7:30am & 5pm EST.

    News and Notes:

-US Open Champ Marin Cilic is out of the Aussie Open with a shoulder injury.
-Caroline Wozniacki got a wrist injury this week but intends to play in the Open.
-Simona Halep has gastroenteritis and hopes to recover in time. *She won the Shenzhen Open last week.
-Juan Martin Del Potro is back on tour after 11 months away for wrist surgery.
-Victoria Azarenka is unseeded in the tournament. *I hope she's on Sharapova's side of the draw!
-Venus is playing well and won her 46th WTA title against Wozniacki last week.

-Roger Federer reached 1,000 match wins (86th ATP title) in Brisbane last week. That puts him behind Jimmy Connors(1,253 wins/109 titles) and Ivan Lendl (1,071wins/94titles) for the most singles match wins in the Open era.

My tennis bf Nadal is working his way back so my expectations are low for this early in the season.

  12. I just had a horrible vision of a theme song with Jess singing a lullaby to her New (baby) Girl!

    Hide that baby bump Fox!

Congrats to Zooey & her bf though. :)

  13. Did they use body doubles for the sex scene? I cannot imagine how Brian Williams would react to watching that scene.

No body double! She talked about the scene in Entertainment Weekly:

"I had a couple of days talking to wardrobe and makeup to get ready to rig the thing that I wore for the ass motorboating. It was an engineering achievement! I would manufacture it if more than one person a year needed it. [Laughs] It was so elaborate—it involved Spanx that we cut away and glued down and involved menstrual pads and two of those weird thongs. I've had to do scenes like this twice now."

Evey time she does a sex scene I think of poor Brian Williams.

It was nice to see the stinky trio (Hannah, Adam & Jessa) showered and clean looking! I hope it continues throughout the season.

Looks like next week is an all Hannah episode. Sadness.

*The show was already renewed for a fifth season. Never heard of that happening before.

  14. It does feel like it just started but last season had the same amount of episodes (6).

Was anyone else wondering what the heck was going on with Ryan's model for the design challenge? She was all slouchy and pissy like she didn't want to be there. Maybe it was intentional but all I could think was "It's two minutes of your life in front of important fashion insiders, suck it up girl!"

  15. I can't believe the finale is next week. I feel like this season I'm loving the idea of the show more than any particular designer. Last season I think we got a better look behind the scenes to see each designers process. I dunno, I just feel like I don't really know most of the finalists all that well.

Its starting to look like Orley will take the top prize with Eva taking second. I think the third spot is up for grabs between Wes, Tanya & Ryan.

The judges really seem to dislike the purse lady. I wonder why she was selected instead of another clothing designer.

  16. Sony’s New Movies Leak Online Following Hack Attack

At least five new movies from Sony Pictures are being devoured on copyright-infringing file-sharing hubs online in the wake of the hack attack that hobbled the studio earlier in the week.

Copies of DVD screeners of four unreleased Sony movies including the upcoming “Annie” are getting some unwelcome early exposure, but nothing compared to the frenzy enveloping “Fury,” the war pic still in theaters since bowing last month.

Another big Sony movie, “Annie,” is also being pirated, this one three weeks ahead of its own wide release. Other Sony movies being downloaded include “Mr. Turner,” “Still Alice” and “To Write Love on Her Arms.”

*I might know someone who's seen Annie and what they did with the song 'Maybe' was unacceptable!
