Holy moly… How’s that for an ending. Epic. Gem of a show. I didn’t know s03 was the last one :( I thought it was a cliffhanger, was I sad to learn here it was the last. Makes it an even better episode I think. I am definitely gonna check out the movie suggesion after this.

I was going to comment on Jeremiah being the first, or one of the very few, that will try and "make it work", or "see as it goes". As also advised by the hosts. After seeing an insane amount of shows where the catfish is pleading for their lives to show: "everything was real". The love, the connection. It's just the pictures that were not. And they all end up saying: If you would have just been honest from the get go. No problem. But I cannot get past the fact that you lied. It's not about your looks. Or the fact that it's not you in the pictures. The time someone on the other end is to be considered good looking, and not really caring all that much compared. Jeremiah brings his son. No worries. Let's see how it goes 🙂 So same point really 🙂

Yeah... This one indeed takes the cake in terms of most shocking. Watched them all, but I agree with all of the above. This is a whole new level of creepiness and just being downright wrong. I hope, why I do not know because it doesn't make it any less wrong, her daughter was indeed 18. But I think she probably wasn't. Which would make this even more horrible. Not as much on the subject matter, but in general: I do love to watch out for weird things in reactions, settings, not trusting anyone in the episode, nitpicking details 🙂 which is what I think what makes this show so engaging and fun to watch for me. So I was just wondering... You contact Nev asking for the zoom link, and before all of that, put up ring lighting for your mom in a separate room (as it shows in the reflection of her glasses clearly)? Might be the most normal thing in the world to do for someone in this day and age... I just thought it was weird it was so well prepared?

Huh. Bummed out about this one. Yes he seemed flat. And as a catfish enthusiast I was doing some conspiracy theorizing of my own :) especially after ep 34 :D But as a mental patient myself, one could argue. Just to be safe: I don't know. Just an idea. He mentioned anxiety issues. One might be on some meds to keep all in check. Some stuff really dulls you down like you've never felt before. Just saying, and again, I don't know. Just an idea. What I am bummed out about, is that on the way there, she seemed truly, like truly emotionally invested. She had to keep herself from crying multiple times. I was so happy seeing this evolve. And then after 2 months discarding it because of trust issues. Kept hoping she was gonna walk into the shot and just be pranking us. A shame... So maybe she did have a boyfriend, or maybe we will never know.. Ahhhh
