  1. After reading the Texas Monthly article, I now understand the system. Unless a girl has a connection to TPTB or has been recruited, it is almost impossible to make it the first year. The system is for the unconnected or recruited girls is to be cut the first year. These cut girls are only seriously considered the next year, if they try again. This is with the exception of VK. Even Kelli could not allow a girl on the team who tremendously overweight, look bad in "the uniform" and had total disrespect for TPTB to get into that position.
  2. Kelli-Sam/Judy-Cassie. Who is the smartest of them all? I vote for Sam. I know that she was an intern CMT/DCC show, but it is not uncommon for parents using their influence to get their child a job. She did not try out for DCC straight of high school, but went college instead. I do not recall any negative comments about Sam.
  3. America's Sweethearts, Wholesome, Honest, Trustworthy, Kind, Sisters wanting and happy for all to succeed, Supportive, Dedicated, Wanting to promote the Brand(not their own)-that is what the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders meant to me. Now? I am not sure what they are or who they are or represent. Please help me with your thoughts.
  4. Right the girl crush got broken up with YES. A kind hearted, classically trained dancer pursued a dream, learned new skills and fought hard. Yet she was attacked, personally by those that do not even know her. I hope all the haters can find a new victim to pursue in the future.
  5. https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/99107-2019-auditions-finals-and-training-camp/?do=findComment&comment=5663743 Meredith, Kat, Lily! Vini, Vidi, Discite, Labor Durus, Vici. They came, they saw, they worked hard and they conquered. Let's see what they become in this process. Then, let us decide on K & J's judgement.
  6. Charlotte Jones-Anderson said, "The impression that they leave, on the fans that they meet, is the number #1 priority and reason why we have the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders." I was at the Miami game. I saw the small group perform on the outside stage and I rented binoculars to watch the DCC on the sidelines. I did not see any snarky-back stabbing girls, no fat girls, no terrible performers or any bad facial expressions. I did see the expressions on the faces of those who watched them, especially the children. They were happy, enthusiastic, entertained and delighted. Personally, I saw only powerful-polished squads, great performers and passionate girls who work very hard to represent the Dallas Cowboys brand. They are a credit to the the brand and a model of strong minded, empowered women.
  7. Meredith does improve. She listened and understood the constructive criticism, worked very hard to get better. That takes discipline and hard work to make it on this world class team.
  8. The hardest part of going to training camp for technically trained dancers is getting past the finals. The judges at that stage do not have the background to recognize good dancers.
