  1. And she’s sitting in the chair swinging a machete. Leland is going to be singing high!
  2. Had a laugh at that. Er… you’re already in a war. Not too swift, this king.
  3. Title of the episode is Rhaenyra the Cruel
  4. While this is true, we’ve seen him horizontal more than on his feet (occasionally on his knees).
  5. There was no implication on my part. I don’t see why you think it places blame on the woman. I would have said the same of Thomas Fortune if he had been the one to leave. If I had said the exact same thing, except “good for Thomas” would you have thought that it placed the blame on him?
  6. I never said the woman is the homewrecker. That’s your own assumption. The man is just as much of a homewrecker, and should have stayed away. I’m only applauding Peggy because she happened to be the one who walked away here. My point is that if the temptation is too strong for you to resist, then stay away. Many have, both men and women.
  7. Good for Peggy. You see, homewreckers? That’s the way you do it. Eliminate the temptation by removing yourself from the equation. 😛
  8. Completely disagree with that. Parents know their children better than that, even if they don’t want to admit it. Agnes is not dense. She knew what Oscar was like, and that it would affect his business practices too. It was out of character for her to trust him with all her money, especially after what she had to go through to get it, as she keeps telling us. With her money, she could have easily looked into finding someone more savvy to take care of her financial affairs. I put it down to bad writing. Julian Fellowes isn’t the best at getting from a to z.
  9. Think she did the world a favor.
  10. Old news. Over the decades, there have been tons of pictures, it’s been commented on in loads of articles, he’s been asked umpteenth times in interviews…. The man is well-endowed.
  11. I’m feeling a bit possessed myself. Anyone have that priest’s number?
  12. Hallelujah! Complete snoozefest and I don’t find the actress very good. I would applaud if she and Marian ran away together and left town. I agree with others that even Fellowes must have realized how dull the storyline was and quickly disposed of the kid (how jarring was that!).
  13. Getting tired of Gaynor. Do we really need another stroppy teen in a show? Yeah, you know it all, babes. Your brother isn’t your responsibility, stay out of it.
  14. Maybe he thought she’d clean up the place for them and then they could hire her as a housekeeper. Easy access for him. Let’s face it, the guy’s not too bright.
  15. Snort. Hit them where it hurts! Might make people think twice before starting an affair. The harm they cause everyone apparently isn’t enough.
