  1. Gina has looked scary thin to me, for years. It is quite obvious in her pictures. It doesn’t matter how nice you are, being that thin is not something to look up to. I hope she gets the help she needs.
  2. Is this in Dallas? Looks like a FW/Dallas combo pic?
  3. The PNW is very different from Texas. We don't do that show your card stuff down here. it is incredibly divisive. All stadiums here will be full in the fall, with no restrictions. We have two college stadiums that are 100,000+.
  4. That’s amazing! That must of been during the season known as false fall. It comes right before the second summer.
  5. So basically from the last week in October until the second week in November, if we are lucky. 😉
  6. It does but they would not retract the roof this time of year. The weather has to be pretty much perfect for them to do that.
  7. I have been a PICU nurse for a long time and have worked with many vaccine injured children. Everybody makes their own decision based on their own experiences. My unit is about 50/50.
  8. Long time nurse here. I am proud of those who stand up for their beliefs. Coercion should never be the reason you make a medical decision.
  9. I agree with you that that’s what they think. Honestly though, I am an out of sight, out of mind person. I think their plan will backfire.
  10. Yes, I think they look at this forum. I don’t think they could care less what we say though.
  11. That’s so awesome. Am I crazy or did they talk about moving training camp from Oxnard to the Star, permanently?
  12. If this is the reason it’s funny only because no one social distances here anymore. Normal dance classes don’t make kids wear masks anymore, so there is no reason they can’t be at the star. It’s sad they do this just for the show.
  13. Legally, there are no consequences for divulging others private medical information unless you are bound by HIPAA.
  14. I’m with you. It’s ok to leave something just for women. We won’t ever play on the football team and I am ok with that.
  15. Living in Texas, I think you are way off here. Kids here start playing from pretty young. At minimum, football is offered starting in 6th grade as a middle school sport. There is nothing elitist about it. It’s literally played in every Texas high school. College scouts go all over the state. The only reason it would be hard to get in front of the right people is if your are from a small public school or private school. The playing rosters aren’t just getting more diverse. A quick google search gave me this breakdown of players... Black 57.5% White 24.9 % Two races 9.4% Now I can’t speak to the owners, but football is just a regular sport, not just for the elites. As far as college players getting in front of NFL scouts, each college has a pro-day where the scouts come.
  16. I can’t see the need for another bubble. Life has been pretty normal in Texas for a long time. The bubble would be only for optics.
  17. Lol. Going to the lake and drinking is like a favorite Texan pastime.
  18. It’s virtue signaling and stupid as can be. Seriously, quarantine, test everyone and then when all are negative, film your show without masks.
  19. In Texas, yes ma’am is still a term of respect and definitely not old fashioned. I use it myself, as do my children, their friends, etc. I don’t see that changing ever.
  20. YES! Haha. We’ve got to be able to take a joke without being offended.
  21. As a Texan, I really don’t think this is offensive at all. Maybe I would if I was missing some teeth but then again, if I was missing teeth and left it like that, then I probably still wouldn’t care. It’s a joke.
