Does no one agree that he might be her father? He seems way too old to be a love interest to me.
I'm not sure bout the 'two factions' theory. I came to the same conclusion as (I think it was) Finn did - that this grounder blew the warning horn to make his bretheren head for shelter so he could help the kids (namely Octavia, but maybe even the rest) escape. I tend to think they're all in the same community and this guy just doesn't necessarily agree with the 'kill-em-all' mentality of his brothers. Or maybe there's a specific reason he wanted to save Octavia (and possibly Bellamy) - I still say he's related to them.

Revolution sounds like UTD - great premise, obscenely laughable execution. Fun to watch and point to and laugh at. Everyone switch over to that so we can snark together. Go!

My first thought was, why don't they just cut the grounder with the poison knife in the hopes that he'll fess up to save himself, but clearly poisoning yourself in the hope that twoo wuv will triumph is the better plan.
Right there with you. If you could think of it...and I could think of it...and OCTAVIA WHO LIVED IN A HOLE IN THE GROUND HER WHOLE LIFE could think of it, why couldn't Smart-Girls-Clarke & That's-so-Raven? Lame plot contrivance if you ask me. I did, however, know far in advance that Octavia would be the one to cut herself, I just thought it would happen MUCH MUCH sooner. Electrocution? Really?
I'm wondering if Grounder-man isn't Bellamy/Octavia's father?

I find it really hard to believe that even 'normal, mainstream' fans of Glee have much, if any, remaining love for Rachel. She's always been depicted as a spoiled, entitled brat, but in the beginning we pitied her. She was teased, slurpeed, she was the outcast, the nerd - so it was easier to see her shittiness as a coping mechanism and/or find charm in her optimism. But now? She's just intolerable. She's "popular" and talented, she's gotten everything she's ever wanted and, yet, she continues to be a spoiled, entitled, obnoxious brat. One would hope she might've learned something by now - but I guess, based on what we've seen, she's only learned that her assholery is rewarded with a production deal with FOX. Oooooohhhh, now I get it.

I don't think I wouls like that at all either, but based on the previews for next week, we're getting more Ward backstory, which no doubt is intended to help us "understand" him and possibly even root for him to come back from the dark side.
I'm just rooting for him to take off his shirt.
I can say, however, I really did not like the FitzSimmons scene - seems like it might've been meant to be a bit of foreshadowing that makes me extremely uncomfortable.

Thanks, that's what I must've missed. I wasn't sure if that was something that was going to come back and bite her later... as if Ward knew all along that she knew. Glad to know that's not the case. I'm proud of Skye. Awwww... Also, a little jealous. ;)

In multiple interviews (read: damage control), the director is now trying to say that they didn't intend it to come across as rape. Which I think is bullshit of the highest order. For one thing, it's not like this show has ever been scared of rape before. For another thing, JAIME DRAGS HER TO THE FLOOR AND PULLS HER SKIRT UP AND SHE REPEATEDLY SAYS "NO" AND "STOP." That's what they filmed (and pieced together in editing), and now they're claiming it was meant to be otherwise?
The PR spin-doctoring might turn my stomach more than the scene itself did.
No doubt the scene was gross, and in the real world, we'd consider it rape... but in the Thrones world, I don't think it would be completely out of character for Cersei to enjoy a little domination from her brother (gag) and the scene played to me that her main objection was more that it wouldn't be right to do it in the room with Joffrey's body. I did get the feeling that she's playing a bit of a tease/game with Jaime and this was the response she may have even been going for -- just perhaps not right at that moment (gag), in that room, right...(gag) there. Then again, I could be wrong.

I was ready to come in here and point out how ridiculous it is that a well-educated, highly intelligent doctor like April Kepner would behave so irrationally about her religious beliefs (and a cochlear implant) - but then I actually did some research. It was surprising to me that doctors are actually a pretty religious group considering many people believe the more educated (and scientifically minded) you are, the less likely you are to believe in organized religion. But apparently, doctors are a bit of a different breed. So while it seems that Kepner's beliefs are probably common-ish among doctors, I still feel like her reaction was a complete regression for her. Why does she have to be so screechy and hyper and insane and unlikeable?
As far as the pity is concerned, my guess is there's a bit of that going on for both of them. He pities her "stupidity" when it comes to religion (and the implant) and she pities his "emptiness" without something so important for him to believe in.
Personally, I don't see things working out for them. It does seem insurmountable to me.

But even if the rockets made it in time, even if Bellamy didn't destroy the radio... they're out of time anyway. If they didn't have a working capsule to get to Raven to the ground, how were they planning on getting 320 people to the ground in a matter of hours anyway?

So the team of highly skilled, specially trained military mercenaries who were prepared to take out a couple hundred fanatics - many with automatic weapons - was taken down by one, solitary, Ryan Hardy. Gotta love that.
And secondly, why didn't Preacher's Son take the knife and just stab Joe? GODDAMMIT, KID!

Perhaps I misunderstood - but as far as I can tell, we still don't know who the baby-daddy is, right? They faked the test for TeamLeo/Sally, but then Olivia gave Mellie the *real* results which we didn't see. The only clue we got as viewers was the way she hugged the file to her chest. Is that a good hug or a bad hug?
Also - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Mellie let the words "Big Jerry" slip during the affair/DNA test 'discussion' she was having with Olivia and Olivia looked on the verge of tears. So I'm pretty sure Olivia knows about Big Jerry, but not necessarily that it was rape? Any clarification on this is welcome.

Great show! The new Daario is disappointing. He looks like. Westeros guy. He should be more exotic and southern, ya ask me.
I was so distracted by the new guy that it kind of ruined the rest of the episode for me. This Daario is SOOOO much different from last season's Daario in both appearance and attitude, it's jarring. Last season's Daario put me in mind of Khal Drago -- big, exotic, powerful, proving his worth by showing his strength. This new one, not so much. He looks like everyone else: smaller, dirty, bearded, no defining characteristic at all; there's absolutely nothing stand-out about him. I'm very disappointed in the change. I'm sure there's a legit reason for the recast, but they could have at least stayed true to the character they introduced, no?

You are awesome. That was awesome. This show, not so much.
I find myself rooting for more Lily plans. She appears to be exponentially smarter and more capable than Joe at every turn. I'd much rather see her well-thought-out and financially-backed plans come to fruition over Joe's "wing it" approach. But, hey, either way, lots of shooting and panicked Bacon. And who doesn't like Bacon?

If I had to guess, I'd say he put her in the cave to protect her from the rest of the Grounders, to fix her wound and give her time to heal. There wasn't much time for chatting between the rescue, her fainting and her escape. Besides, he probably doesn't know for sure - and what kind of weird, awkward conversation would that be... "Um, hi. You look familiar. I might be your dad." I'm not sure how well that would go over. Does anyone remember what backstory we got on her father, if any?
