  1. The way Mykelti manipulated Kootie to kick in for a honeymoon for having to push back her wedding and then gloating about it in her TH afterwards was eye-opening for me. I get the feeling she's a piece of work. However, I guess it's best for her to strike while the iron's hot, for that'll probably be the last thing she gets from Kootie.

If I were Christine I think I'd resent Mykelti's even-handed manner that she's attempting here.  I think that it was too soon for Mykelti to be playing the role of what, maybe peacemaker?  Makes me wonder what Mykelti is really after, and who's she manipulating to try to get it.  I have an inkling that she's a quid-pro-quo kind of gal.

Finally, as someone stated somewhere on this forum, this telling of family hardships when they were growing up should be reigned in by the parents, if possible. For example, eating day-old bread and being happy to get a hotdog for dinner.  It's TMI, and it only makes your family look bad.  Your family looks bad enough as it is, which is problably one of the reasons Logan has nothing to do with the show.  The internet is forever, and you may regret it one day.  Barring any abuse the kids may have suffered, it may be better to keep that that of stuff to a minimum, but I don't think Mykelti's a minimum kind of person.

Who TF will watch that? Hardly anyone likes them, there’s no show without the other wives. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t buy that one.

One more season, at beat, because Christine has said they’re filming (or were). There’s nothing left to film. This family is destroyed.

Agrred. Ain't no way, no how I'd watch these four do anything.  Ugh, what a hot mess.

I am getting better than I ever wanted using the grabber. I can pick up a single piece of kitty kibble, the other day 1/2 a salted peanut and last night a single grain of rice ...sheesh a skill I never strove to excel in!! LOL! The only good is I get a lot of extra steps in fetching it and putting it back where it belongs...

Nice work @Yeah No! The biking seems to be just what you needed. Keep up the good work.

Ok, I'm impressed!  😁  I want to get a grabber thingie for stuff on high shelves, I never thought about rice.  Maybe I could use mine to grab doggie treats off the floor.  😉

  4. For me there's just not enough information to make an educated guess as to what really happened.  Maddie comes across at times as unfocused, Christine is a drama queen, Kootie has agendas that involve Robyn, and ostensibly Paeden has anger management issues, himself.  I can see where Meri, organizer surpreme, would have issues with Maddie's staying on point, Christine's dramatics, and even clashing with Paedon, who seems to be a hothead.

I can also see Meri being at the very least controlling and obstructive to the kids that weren't hers. Especially since she couldn't have more than one.

No one has stepped forward on either side, that's what most curious.  Maybe they're all busy contacting attorneys, or maybe this is a bid to ensure the show does remain on the air for another season or two.

If Paedon is blowing some episode between him and Meri out of proportion, then he should prepare himself for a huge life lesson.  It not only may cost him in money, but also in familial trust.  I know if I were his sibling I would seriously ponder the ramifications of telling him anything of import in the future.

If Meri did indeed really abuse the kids, well, those hens have come home to roost.  It's now a waiting game to see if the truth will come out, or if obfuscation reigns.

Wow, Gram, I am VERY happy to hear this!  As for me I'm up and down from day to day.  Yesterday I got in 6,822 steps, but today I was back down to only 4,888, although I also spent 15 minutes on my exercise bike, burning 50 calories.  I am also happy to report that I've recently lost another 2 lbs. for a total of 17 so far.  I had plateaued for a while around the holidays and then saw this sudden drop just two days ago.

    Congrats on the weight loss!

Lawdy, it's so hard to maintain control over diet and exercise over the holidays.  My doctor was attempting to make me more serious about losing some weight, but was surprised at how strong my arms are. I told her it's due to having to pull my fat hieny and thick thighs up into an 18 wheeler 20 times a day.  Do that for a couple of months and she'd be weirdly strong in her upper torso, too.  😞😢😅

I think maybe people were mentioning retail because Robyn was bragging about Kody being her ‘best customer” on the last episode.

Retail in general I think is extremely hard both physically and mentally.  I could never deal with the public so much.  I don’t have the patience!  I really admire people in customer service because I get irritated just walking in a grocery store and hearing from other customers.

Agreed.  I had a hard time working in retail.  That and waitressing were among my first jobs and it's from working those jobs that I can barely stand the public all of these years later.  I have a hard time with extremely entitled customers who think they're smarter than the employees, who BTW, have seen and heard EVERYTHING.

I also have a smart mouth and I loved using it. Looking back I'm shocked I didn't get fired, but I guess my competence and the lack of anyone to hire to replace me probably protected me somewhat.  😛

I especially can't stand the stupid ones.  😒  OMG, some folks are so stupid!!

BLESS ALL of the retail workers, and the waitresses.  At least my experience taught me patience, and how to tip!  😁

  8. Watched the final eppie this morning and I've never seen so much gaslighting in my life.  If Kootie isn't a full- blown narcissist then I'll kiss him, myself. 💋

As for Robyn, what a liar.  She's certainly getting and taking advice from her mom, you know the type.  She believed that life should be made into one long, drawn out honeymoon for the man, and the woman should keep sweet.  What a load of crap.  🙄

Kootie and Robyn, you can go  pound sand.  THE WHOLE WORLD saw the favoritism, the neglect, and the machinations and manipulations that y'all did on this family. Its also now ON TAPE.  Kootie was always ONLY interested in the family as a whole and not the individual wives, but that was before Robyn entered the picture.  When she came onto the stage his family faded into the rear-view mirror, and Robyn is very much responsible for this, also.

I'm at my limit with these two a**holes - they are vile and disgusting people.  Hope this is the FINAL year for the show, and Robyn has to move into Janelle's R.V.  That would be a karmic b**ch-slap I'd pay good money to see.  🤨

As evidenced by her Barbie Doll filtered pictures.  Sadly we see her as she really is so I don't know why she bothers.

Those pics worry me.  I understand folks using filters somewhat, maybe to erase a mole or some such other  nonsense, but Meri has taken it to where her pics looks almost NOTHING like her.  For me, that denotes a tenuous grip on reality.  I honestly believe  Meri has concocted some sort of fantasy world and I wonder if that world and reality are beginning to merge in her head?  It's beginning to come off as a little ooky, to be honest.

  10. Thank goodness you're okay. 😀 Little worried about ya, hun, ain't gonna lie.  Just grateful that the paramedics were able to take quick care of you.  Aren't they some great folks, though? 🥰

Stay safe, and warm.  Please check in regularly with us for the next couple of weeks so we can make sure you're still doing ok. Get better soon. 😉

I don’t think it was really her idea. I think the producers needed a way to force and awkward final confrontation and Mykelti “arranging” it was the best they could do.

Agreed, probably not her idea but TLCs. But after watching her shenanigans throughout the years I gather she, the young married mom of 2 kids, enjoyed her time to "show" the adults how to act through this event.

I don't agree with Meri often, but I would've passed on this one, too.

  12. I wish I could see it this way, but for me forcing everyone to come say bye to her mother because MyKelti felt she deserved it was a little immature.  Divorce is hard and sometimes harsh, and not everyone was on the same page regarding Christine and her leaving.  Granted, a nice goodbye would have been lovely, but it was NEVER gonna happen with that bunch.  Mykelti needs to polish up on how to read  a room.

  13. Merry Christmas, everyone!  We're safe at home this year, thank goodness!  So grateful we aren't on many of these highways this year.  We see so many accidents and it's nice not to have to go through that this Christmas.

Hope everyone has a bright, warm, and cheerful holiday.  Please be safe and take your time if out running the roads this weekend.  🥰☃️🎄

  14. Agreed with y'all.  Meri's playing games, if not why not offer her McMansion to the outta towners to stay during the holidays, like a normal family?  It's because its all a big, fat lie.  In my family there would be hurt feelings on both sides if your big, fat empty home was not at least offered.  Granted, some of us still prefer a BnB, but at LEAST offer.

    This family drives me NUTS!

Sometimes I think you have to voice the thought to realize it is not the right course. I'm OK, it has just been hard the last couple of months.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

I don't come out in this thread often, but you're one of my favorite posters, here.  For realz.

I'm not making light of your situation, but just know that it seems everyone is struggling (and hard) this holiday season.  I don't know if its the leftover zeitgeist from the pandemic, or folks are sniffing the air to see what's coming next for our country, but the angst and depression is strong out here.  It's  not just you, hun.  Please, please understand that.

My poor DH just found out his very good friend died of a heart attack yesterday.  It's just awful, as he was a good man.  This after the new strain of the flu has taken me off the truck for the rest of this holiday season, and he's running out there by himself.  I was having a hard enough time trying to keep his spirits up, before.  Now, it's impossible.

We love ya, hun, but perhaps you should seek out someone you can trust to talk over your feelings.  Montana winters are long and hard, maybe a little help along the way will make it easier.

You take care of yourself.  🫂

  16. Christine may be as dumb as a box of rocks, but I do believe that she can be quite manipulative and cunning.  Mykelti gets these traits from somewhere, and I'll lay my odds that it's from Christine.  Kootie certainly isn't cunning! One can see him coming a mile away!

I can believe that she would attempt to cut Meri out of a reconciliation with Kootie.  If she's not getting Kootie's attention then no one will, and the family be hanged.
