I bet Leon is nice to mom because mom is the one who will pay for the move, help pay rent.

I doubt the lovebirds have that kind of $ to move. I’m thinking it’s $10,000 to move.

Agreed.  It ain't cheap, unless you plan on doing it yourself, which they may.  Nothing wrong with that, though.  😉

Has Meri spoken out about Leon in Social Media that anyone knows of? I’m not sure which way it’s gonna go, but I doubt it’s a good one. Anyone else remember the look of total shock and horror on Meri’s face upon hearing her child was gay about 6 years back? She couldn’t even handle that.

I can see how someone might need some private family time to work this out and get used to the new situation, but not Meri since she’s not private to begin with and very quick to share her misfortunes and opinions with the rest of the world.

If I put myself in Meri's ugly clodhoppers I too would need some time to process these significant familial changes.  Could be that I'm slow-witted, or take more time than a normal person to muddle through my emotions, but I can understand how this would have a tremendous affect on her.  I'd support my child but I still would need a minute, myself.

The difference between me and Meri is that I wouldn't take it the public. Of course, I've no lulano rags to sell.  🙄

  3. Notes from the Road

It's summertime and the number of R.V.s, campers, and families traveling the roads out in this area (Wyoming) seem to be way down.  😔  Now, this is around one of the Yellowstone entrances, and I believe one loop in the park is still closed, but still.  Gas prices also playing a part.

Looks like what happened during COVID.  So sad not to see young'uns wreaking havic in the restaurants and truckstops.  Miss them all.  🙃

  4. Janelle does look quite fetching in this dress.  Maybe she should go to a professional seamstress/dressmaker and have a few made up to have on hand in the future.

Something I learned from Barbra Streisand years ago.  She said when she found a piece of clothing that really looked great on her she would buy several so she would always  have one in her wardrobe for a while.  I began doing that with my nice stuff, and I really have come out ahead with a very nice wardrobe. 🥰

However, Barbra didn't offer any advice on what to do when you can only wear your good stuff a month outta every year.  😪😁

I wondered where Leo found a Moorish doorway to pose in front of in Denver.  The recent photos posted must have been taken while on the retreat.

Well, I'm out here now looking for a place to move. If I see the Moorish doorway in question I'll first warn them that the Entitlement Twins have arrived!  These poor people, they don't know what they're in for with these two.  😁  Then I'll let you, my peeps, know where its located.  🤪

Gosh, how I LOVE 💘  COLORADO!!!!

I can't see Meri *not* supporting them in whatever way Leon wants, financially included.

I don't like Meri but Leon's attitude towards their Mother was always shitty imo. The only person I ever saw calling them out on their crap was Kody.

Meri would be too terrified of Leon's wrath and exclusion to not do what they want. Which is amusing since they're so similar in personality. Meri getting a little taste of her own medicine.

I really do hope Leon is happier in their own skin now but they're not a particularly nice person. And it's not just how they were as a teen, they were like it on screen during covid too. Eye rolling, stomping, huffy and totally unwilling to empathise or accept that other people may have different views to them. And that that doesn't make that person *wrong*.

Leon's still the same personality as the one that refused to go to public school with the gentile peasants and HAD to go to the most expensive college in Utah. Now it's anyone not as progressively liberal as them that they won't grace with their presence.

I can't imagine a worse social worker so hopefully they'll find some other line of work.

    Point taken.  😊

However, just like how Meri has gotten a little more "real" with Kootie over the past couple of seasons with her sarcastic remarks about their non-relationship, maybe she's coming to the same conclusion regarding her horrible daughter.  I'll have a little more respect for her if and when she does.

Maybe they'll film her pregnancy and birth. They could stretch that into 2 more seasons!!

And! Maybe a spinoff! Call it "And Then There Were Five".

    *Shudders*  Perish the thought!

  8. I do now wonder if Meri had enough of the entitlement twins and strongly encouraged them to go get their own money.  I gather that they lived in Salt Lake City, but who knows if Meri was still supporting them in some fashion.  🤷‍♀️

Exactly, Maddie should have kiboshed that sash

That type of thing should be kept to adult partying (personally I think it’s just plain stupid  for no reason and it’s not even funny, it’s just vulgar and dumb)  I guess the Brown girls think it’s edgy and bitch’n  🙄

Exactly.  If you're out clubbing in Vegas for an evening with your besties then I can see it.  However, there she is, holding a teacup and eating what appears to be a delicate lunch, with kids around.  Classy move, Ysabel.  😒

  11. Such a beautiful young lady wearing such a vulgar sash.  If I was that gorgeous I certainly wouldn't ruin it by walking around in a tacky sash.  The dress is really pretty too, although it's too short.

Wasn't she recently caught in a pic where she had what looked like a babydoll nightie on? I surprised Christine let her wear that around her.  So sad.

I have been to Colorado just one time to visit my son last year, and I fell in love with Frisco - it is one of the cutest towns I have ever seen.  My son lives in the Dillon/Silverthorne area, also beautiful.  I can't even imagine waking up every day and knowing you get to go outside in that stunning blue sky and look at those glorious mountains.  I can't wait to go back.

It's been separate bedrooms for hubby and I for the past year or so.  At first I would typically get up in the middle of the night, hot as he$$, and move into my son's old room where I could blast a fan directly on me all night long.  We have evolved into it being a nightly thing now, where I basically have my own room.  At first it was not great, marriage-wise...but I can't even express what a different person I am when I can get a consistently good night's sleep with (now) TWO fans running all night long and the windows cracked open from March until November.  He is cool with it now too...if he can't sleep in the middle of the night, he turns on the tv to fall back asleep whereas I need it pitch dark with only the lovely sounds of my beloved fans, lol.  At some point my sanity started to depend on being able to sleep without kicking the sheets off and on 20 times per night.  I love my little room.

I have several friends in the south and when they tell me it's going to be 110 degrees that day, my first thought is, you can't even go outside in that!  Then they tell me, well - do you go outside when it's -10 out?  Same thing!  It's just funny to me that living in the north, I assume that summer always means going outside and for them it means staying in, just like winter for me means staying in if it's bitterly cold.  And just as I know I would surely melt like Meri's Rice Krispie squares in that kind of humidity, they tell me that they would never be able to handle snow and ice.  I find it all so interesting.  Just depends on what you're used to. :)

Agreed.  I've been to both of those charming towns and your son is lucky in getting to live in that area.  I too would love to live a little deeper in the Rockies, but for now we got to stay closer to as many trade routes as possible, otherwise I'd be asking him to scootch over.  😉

Hmm, I never though about a second bedroom to house my hot flashes.  My poor DH freezes cause I like to sleep in the cold.  Its a constant bone of contention on the truck in the winter months, cause I love sleeping with the vents open.  Well, I also do that for security purposes, like to hear what's going on round my diesel tanks, if you get my drift.

Having a bed with fans blowing constantly sounds like my kind of heaven.  Either that or an igloo.  😛

  14. She looks like she's been hitting the vanilla extract to me.  I know it can't be grown-azzed liquor because of her religion, or maybe because modest is hottest, or something?  She certainly doesn't look religious or modest, here!  🤣

So true, but speaking from my own perspective, if we have to witness another birth episode I would rather watch Mykelti/Tony go through the process.  Mykelti is unlikely to condescendingly explain what the terms are for various stages of labor as Maddie felt compelled to do.  Tony will be more animated than doofus Caleb was and Mykelti took to motherhood without a single whinge about how HARD it is to find balance in her life after giving birth.

Oh, quite true.  Maddie can be just as insufferable as Mykelti, and just as condescending as Christine.  As for Caleb?  Well, he is the Brown family's Chosen One, and perhaps the deeply guarded reason fir that is how well he took care of his extended family when that man died (wasn't that Kootie's brother) a few years ago? In reality, should that  have been Kootie's responsibility, rather than that young man's?  Who knows with this family?!?

Anyway, my issue with Mykelti is that she often speaks with her nose stuck up in the air and sounding like she's got marbles in her mouth. However, she does seem to be a good mom.

I JUST CAN'T STAND Tony. He's right up there with Kootie for me, and that's saying something! I can still ponder how such two apparently nice, calm, and normal people such as Tony's parents can have such a one-off child.  🤔

I glad that there's others who can take one for me and let me know the goings on the next season.  😝
