I felt bad for David as he seemed so sad that he just couldn't face the water again.  BUT, I can't believe someone would go on the race without learning how to swim (stick shift, read a map, etc., etc.).

I’m pretty sure David knows how to swim. He’s just not a very strong swimmer and he panicked. It’s not like swimming in a pool where you see the sides and the bottom. With the mask on and the suit I think his fear got the better of him.

  2. I also sobbed through this. What a great ending to the series. I believe the Greeks killed the FBI agent but the cop stole the files. Really well done show and the two leads knocked it out of the of the park.

Chicago. He was cute. Of course he picked the place in the neighborhood he loved. I'm glad he won't get a roommate. There's no way he wants to share that bathroom. Not sure the place was big enough to get away from the smell of the litter box. Right next to the laundry doesn't seem ideal. He'll have to keep the door open all the day.

He was cute! A guy with a cat named Mr. Meow!!!

Did he even write it or just sing it?  I mean there wasn’t much to it but I don’t think he came up with it. He just sang what they told him to (which was a rip off of California Love).

He said the melody just “came to me” lol

I think Tariq is a bad person He lived of Janine and used film of her and the other teachers without permission. I wonder if Tariq was the hard working teacher and Janine was the lazy bum would our comments be the same? I think everyone would tell her to get a job.

I don’t think Tariq knew about or used the film. He just wrote the jingle.

  6. I really appreciate that this is one of the only school based shows that really incorporates them teaching actual things that would be taught in these grades. I love how they show the creative lessons the teachers are using.

I loved Zach saying the team was men because of the bar mitzvahs. Really, the basketball trash talk was my favorite part of the episode.

I also loved “somebody call a doctor” being followed by all of the kids saying “my dad, my mom  is a doctor.”  As a fellow Jew I thought all the Jewish references were gold.  And Zach played “the goy best friend” in a movie!!

  8. The irony is that because the last two teams were actually really close in the end, if Dom hadn’t wasted time on her “I can’t do this I give up” motivational speech they might have pulled it out and won.

I like the twist in the "spoofing" episode of Trudi being the one to urge her brother to go to the police and tell the truth. Given Trudi's relationship with the police, that didn't seem likely. Still not quite sure what she is doing out of prison at this point, given the things she has been charged (and apparently convicted) with.

    She’s no narc!

Yep.  If you've ever seen the inside of an aloe leaf, other succulents including cactus are exactly like that (their tissues store water).  Controlling that goo is the trick to working with nopales, I'm told.

I watched this around 4 this morning and I don't think my brain fully processed it -- did Evelyn get an advantage for winning the Quick Fire?

Sarah won the quick fire and got 30 extra minutes to cook in the elimination challenge.

Mike's too busy stuffing his face.

I thought Jeff said Romeo got no votes?  Maybe I misheard him.  It was when Romeo said he felt like he won even though he didn't get the million.

He did. He also said the vote was 7-1.

  12. So Phillip doesn’t exist in this episode thankfully. Again Toby and Kate have so much more chemistry than Kate and Phillip. And Jon Huertas was in the credits but Miguel got the shaft again.

Wait - I don't think there is a Darlene working at the police station.

I am at the epi where the young sgt. is hired -her last name is Thomas and I do not remember her first name.

    What am I missing?

I agree that I don't think The Commissioner is corrupt.  Part of his job is hobnobbing with the big wigs, but we really haven't seen that much of him lately -he seems to hang out with the rest of them after work which is a nice change.

You are a few episodes behind. Darlene is in the most recent episode I saw. I think it’s episode 5 of season 11.

Kate's work in arts education, her mention of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey this episode, that game's being schlepped by Beth to the new house, the chalk, Toby's being present because "she" wants him there, and Kate's imminent arrival: it's Kate who has something big planned for Rebecca's final hours. Maybe not "big" as an event, but big as in, a meaningful gesture. The kind Rebecca would appreciate, most of all.

There was an offhand mention by Kevin of a perfect day when they all stayed home, watched movies, played pin the tail on the donkey. I assume they are going to recreate that day.

The episode of LCK I saw (on demand Xfinity), the episode ended with the judges currently in contention placing their votes, for either Sarah's or Jae's dish, face down on the table.  Then it abruptly ended.  Am I missing something?  Am I watching on the wrong platform?

There’s a second part in a separate video.
