And then it boiled down to Land and Sea - even after Kaleena pointed out it was a lake, not the sea..
I thought Kaleena was insisting on “sea” and Alisha wanted “water.” Either way they essentially came up with “surf and turf” and were doomed from the start. Also if Alisha wanted to get in good with Kaleena “I hate geminis” was not a good start. And who hates an entire category of people based on the random date they were born???

Wow. They won’t even pretend there’s a debate about who loses.

Even if they had worked better together they would have been screwed. Both of their dishes were apparently terrible.

Alisha and Kaleena seem to hate each other.

That was driving me nuts! That is not what ohm looks like!
Also the ridiculousness of thinking the race would use the symbol for ohm as a clue!

The vocal fry on San Jose del Cabo realtor Ashley 3 name was insane. And giving them a couple nickname was embarrassing. No idea which they chose and don't care.
I could not stand that realtor!

That would be a waste of millions and millions of dollars to shoot an entire season and decide to not air it. As a practical matter, I can't even imagine how an entire season of TAR could be "too bad" to make it to air. Bad in what way?
Very true. I mean they aired the family edition! Nothing could be worse than that.

I enjoy this show and its cozy mysteries. But it drives me nuts when characters who should be speaking French to each other are speaking English. Like Simone and Charlie when they are alone. Or Caron and the young wife in this latest episode. The other police officer spoke French to her and there were subtitles. But later they are all speaking English even when there is nobody there who isn’t French.

For some reason I thought she said Cassidy when she was talking to Mx. Geoffries. So was Mx.Geoffries' first name originally Cassidy and they changed it? That could have been the source of confusion.
I was sad about Jacob and Zach. I really liked them together. I wonder why the show decided to break them up. It isn't like we see Zach that often. I did appreciate Zach's vengeful spirit, though. Shrinking all Jacob's clothes is funny.
Their name was Cassidy Geoffries. Janine was spelling it Cassidy Jeffreys

Loved the whole sequence with Jacob quietly correcting everything Barbara said. “Napster. Spotify”.

The laughable part is all of the different definitions, shall we say, of what exactly charm is. Oh, Show, time for some new year’s resolutions! We can start with knock off the “charm.”
And I’d encourage the end of making Americans not know what size European apartments/homes are, complaining “it’s so much smaller than we had back in _________.”)
Especially since the two are generally mutually exclusive. Do you want “charm” as in typical older homes in your new location or do you want big, modern and similar to what you had in the US? Drives me nuts when a buyer repeatedly says “charm” but then complains that the fridge is too small or the floor plan isn’t open concept.

What a remarkably joyful season and a really pleasant finale. It was so nice not to have any bickering or yelling at teammates this leg. Everyone was so happy and encouraging. Of course I’m bummed for Rob and Corey but Greg and John earned that win. Congratulations to all.

This may be my favorite final three teams ever! All three teams are really enjoying the experience. Of course they want to win, but they are not losing sight of the incredible experience. None of them have sniped at their partners or let their mistakes get them down. They all three have surely earned their spots in the finale. I wouldn’t be upset with any of them winning, but my heart is with Rob and Corey.

I never thought I’d be routing for an all male final, but here we are. I wonder if Anna Leigh is watching this now realizing just how her dad was struggling. Compare to Corey and Rob, where Corey never berates his dad and seems to be thrilled to be sharing this adventure with him.

I thought the only one who made sense of the challenge was Thoa, who made a mistletoe design so at least there was a reason why it should be hanging upside down.

Quite a contrast with the guys who thought they were last in the previous leg. Or even Malaina and Andrea.

Greater Melbourne, Australia. I don't like Nicole's hair. If he works from home, why can't she take Margo in the car to shops? #1 was really pretty. But having to furnish it is a downer. Lucas is always good for an "are they for real" comment. Dust doesn't exist in new homes ever? Why didn't someone tell me this when we were buying? I think that was the perfect home for them.
I think she said she doesn’t like to drive.

Why were Malaina and Andrea referred to as the “out of towners”? Maybe it’s some pop culture reference I don’t get 🤔
Because they always yelled “out of towners” whenever they were running through a crowd of people.

S21.E05: Supper Club

This was clearly a set up to see how they worked as a team with the budget. Kristin specifically asked the question so they knew it would be an issue. Everyone knows Whole Foods is outrageously expensive.
