On my first reading of the series. Came so close to quitting Outlander, held it together, have been enjoying Dragonfly, and now on Chapter 44 I feel like it’s going the road of mustache-twirly villain and everyone Claire has ever met popping by.
While convenient (I’m in real time so maybe it’ll be explained) for Hugh Munro to be in the scene, Claire remarks that she’d heard he was a Highland agent. Had she? Did we know that? Or did she tell us for the first time in the scene? It will work better if it was foreshadowed but I don’t remember it.
