  1. I have a job for Tom Bergeron.  I read a blind item that Nick Cannon is going to be fired  from "The Mask"  for some political statements he made.  If so, they can hire Tom for that hosting job since he is already known by the powers that be of that show because he appeared as The Taco.

  2. Broken Bow, OK:  I loved the real estate agent's drawl.  She was so sweet to them, but by the time they got inside the last house, she was ready to slap the picky husband all the way to Mexico.  All of the "cabins"  were lovely.

Really love John Favreaus influences. Great show!!

What is kind of funny is that the guy that created this show is the same guy who directed the first MCU movie (Iron Man). The guy who directed the 5th MCU movie (Joe Johnston, Captain America: The First Avenger), is the guy who designed Boba Fett and in turn Mando's helmet and look.

He's also the guy who was in "Swingers", lol.

I kind of believe that some of the buzzed acts are just fillers.  They probably crew members who are brought out to do an act - badly.

It's been a while since I read it, so I can't cite it, but you are exactly right.  Staff and crew personnel are used as fillers to make the show fill the time slot.

  5. Houston couple seemed a little mismatched, if you know what I mean.  All the houses were lovely.  I really liked the New Orleans style.  I wonder which reality show the wife was on?  It must have  been one with a lot of partying, because that's about all she was concerned with.

    Apparently I blinked... 😆

At the end of the show when all the contestants and panelists are in a crowd talking, Bigfoot was there, too, dancing around.

There is always too much Doris.

I can just imagine how many times the producers or directors have cornered Anthony to tell him to tell Doris to tone it down.  Everyone likes Madea in small increments.  Come to think of it, Madea would be great on the show.  BTW, Anthony and Doris are now on a commercial for a mobile phone.

How do you write music if you don't play an instrument?

Music teacher here.  Songs are simply poems set to music or a beat.  Allee Willis wrote the lyrics and others wrote the music,  just like Rodgers and Hammerstein or Elton John and Bernie Taupin.  I'm sure she contributed by humming or singing the tunes that needed tweaking.  She had an interesting life and was gifted in many disciplines, according to her bio.

Oregon wife - I normally don't like to comment on the HHs' looks, but it makes me sad that nobody in her life loves her enough to be honest and tell her how unflattering the orange makeup is. If she was one of my friends, I'd have taken her to Sephora years ago.

It's okay, I think.  The name of this site used to be "Television Without Pity", lol.

So you think nervous, crybaby Canadian girl was hijinks?  HMMM.  Another way for the "new" kinder, gentler Simon to emerge.  (Which has gotten old!)

Yep.  Remember a couple of seasons ago when the tall, thin English girl came out and was so shy on stage and in her sob story video?  What did she do then?  Turned into a strutting, growling Janis Joplin, lol.

That whole phone call thing seemed very set up to me. I didn’t buy it.

That and the girl from Toronto who seemed to be in tears, but was able to answer questions and sing in a perfectly normal voice.  HMMM.

I'm always suspicious of producer hijinks.

And what was up with repeatedly showing those two older women in the audience.

I cannot cite the source, but a while back I read that some shows hire "audience reactors" to react in different ways.  According to the article, sometimes they are not even at the show, just taped reactions from random shows.

  11. The husband and wife team named Winans must surely be related to the sibling gospel singers BeBe and CeCe Winans.  Does anyone know for sure? I'm guessing that he is a son or nephew. It's great that all three songs will be used.  The people on this show are uber talented.

  12. In the photo above from some time in the past, you will notice that his left eye is more droopy. You can look at multiple images of him and see that.  It was definitely more pronounced Sunday night because the right eye was squinting.   It seems to be a permanent condition called ptosis.  I know someone who has had it since birth.

That being said, there was something more going on during the finale.

  13. I had Thunderstorm as the winner from the first episode, as many others did, I'm sure.  Now Todd has to leave his wife and 8 kids to go on the road doing PR for NBC.  Not sure how she feels about that.

Does anyone know who the four coaches will be next season?

  14. Arthur was on Good Morning America with Just Sam, but did not show up for Live with Kelly and Ryan.  Ryan did not show up, either.

Theories on Ryan that I've read are drunk, stroke, or Bell's Palsy.

  15. Dillon's sister looked less than pleased to be sitting there.

I have a feeling that TPTB are trying to avoid another WGWG.  I can see Francisco, Arthur, and Just Sam in the Top 3 in no particular order.  The pretty boys are there to look good and be used for "cannon fodder", which is a term I saw used in the early years of Idol.
