  1. Not sure about that. I am an educator who has seen many students with ODD, and I have definitely diagnosed my mother-in- law with it. :)
  2. I agree. It even looked like both sets of parents knew the outcome before Ryan announced the winner. IMO, HunterGirl is a well-established musician. She will be fine. Geez, she was given the Platinum Ticket performing in Luke's club, wasn't she? Noah is their rags-to-riches story.
  3. I was thrilled to see Jay and Christian again. Was it my imagination, or was Tristen on the far right singing backup for Earth, Wind, and Fire??? If Ryan mentioned, I missed it - twice.
  4. Music educator here to say that I was over it when Jay and Christian were eliminated. Leah has a really clear singing voice but is too silly and Noah and HunterGirl are too generic, as you can find singers exactly like them in every club in Nashville. Oh, wait! They did find one of them there, lol. In other words, IDK who wins this season. I'm here to watch Joe the bass player (Colin K's twin).
  5. Without spoiling the results, I think that one of the contestants made a mistake in their math.
  6. Yes, he's a well-respected LA session musician now. I was surprised yesterday to see him in a video of Ricky Martin in concert in Mexico.
  7. If she did, that's a shame for some other contestant that could have received that Platinum Ticket!
  8. I don't know if any of you remember Sal Valentinetti from AGT, but Christian is that type of singer. There seems to be some kind of market for "Rat Pack" types of singers. Older fans? Retirement communities like The Villages in Florida would love it. Also, I saw where Sal, Landau Eugene Murphy, and some others just returned from Dubai where they played a show.
  9. Call me jaded, but I think that the Kelsie story is producer hijinks. I've seen a photo of her that looked nothing like the way she is being presented. Last night, which was a very important night, she was wearing a stretched-out sweater that looked like she borrowed it from her Granny with her bra strap sticking out. They paired her with a former Miss America. Watch for the caterpillar to butterfly transformation in the next few weeks.

  11. Did anyone else think that she looked like Kate Middleton? Dad was certainly living vicariously through her.
  12. Yes!!!! That's what I kept telling my husband. What was she on????
  13. I have read several good reviews of this episode and the consensus is that The Book of Boba Fett is really, in a way, a chapter of the Mandalorian that was planned purposely to lead the way into Season 3, supposedly, as per quotes from Favreau and Filoni. We know that it was written and filmed far ahead of airing. They know who their cash cow is. Temuera Morrison is 61 and who knows what health issues he may have? Perhaps he needed to have a fairly easy role. I saw the end of this episode as Luke trying to bribe and push Grogu into choosing the Jedi option, while on the other hand, Din did the noble thing by leaving the gift and walking away...for right now.
  14. It is a shame that the accompaniment overpowered her vocals. This has been an issue since Season 1 of this show.
  15. In my opinion, when a coach picks their contestant that didn't get picked, that takes away from any excitement for the viewer. I love Kristin.
  16. I am a music educator and partial to singers. I certainly understand the fatigue of having singers win this show, but I would just like to say that Jimmie Herrod has the most flawless voice I have ever heard! I wish him the best and hope that he gets scooped up by Broadway or gets a good recording contract.
  17. ...and was a college professor, or so I thought I heard. I may have been too distracted. I thought that the condo fit them better.
  18. I came here to say the same thing. From the first words out of her mouth...
  19. Yes. Some of us have been around here long enough to remember that this site used to be called TELEVISION WITHOUT PITY. :)
  20. Sorry, not sorry. I'm calling producer hijinks again. There is no way that Jimmie or the TKD performers were in the bottom. IMO, they're just trying to create drama.
  21. I have never seen someone as happy to be there as Nicolle. :)
