  1. Yes, yes, yes YES! Not that I'm a fan of Josh but to see Paul denied at the very end and standing there near tears with Julie Chen was one of the most satisfying moments in 17 years of this stuff! Also Cody winning favorite instead of poser Kevin and schmuck Jason was the cherry on top. CBS is nuts if they don't repurpose Cody and Jess over to the AMAZING RACE or some other comeback. Cody is casting gold! Stoic to the end even when winning a ton of cash! Loved when he said "Oh my god" when Raven was making it all about her and her surgeries. They need to update Dr. Will's picture....he actually looks better now as a silver fox. Elena should get an honorable mention from me for her faces during the Jury answers! Alex managed to redeem herself by not voting for Paul. You were my favorite in June but then you lost me when aligning by Paul. Best comeback from The Dark Side since Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi! Paul lost again! Yeah, I covered that already but it gives me such joy. One more time...Paul LOST...and Allison Grodner goes on suicide watch!
  2. ...and so the season lurches towards its pathetic, foregone conclusion. The most dissapointing moment of the entire episode was hearing Alex so much as say (as I feared would happen) that she will be giving Paul her vote. So what if he destroyed your game and your closest allies game ...reward him instead of denying him....cringeworthy, absolutly cringworthy and she started the season as my favorite player. Matt doesn't even warrant a passionate kiss when Raven arrives? Plus he sits there like a lump while people are attacking his woman? Jason doesn't even ask why Alex didn't put up Christmas or Josh? Cody continues to be the best part of the whole season. Please let him win America's vote just to spite the clown posse that were gunning for him on orders of Paul who by the way is simply gross. Alex who did more in the game than Kevin did all season didn't get goodbye videos but Kevin gets his? I would believe it was for the Paul revelation but that went over like a lead balloon. Poor Julie...she was desperatly trying to get a rise out Kevin regarding the Paul revelation but Kevin is such weak sauce he has no reaction whatsoever....clearly he didn't want to win this game all season. his spot should have gone to someone else...maybe someone who would have risen up and joined Cody against Paul. I'll never know how they remember what happened on what day! I can't tell you exactly what happened to me last Tuesday. The entire concept of Celeb BB is flawed for two reasons....Celebs are buddy, buddy with each other. They won't actively stab another celeb in the back like strangers do on BB and they aren't going to do anything untoward or controversial and risk alienating what ever fan base...well whatever fan base a D Lister celeb like the kind they will scrape the bottom of the barrel for might have.
  3. Here is the thing. Paul came off looking like a real idiot when he was breaking down saying he couldn't believe it. How can he not believe it? He was protected by Alison Grodner for nearly a month and after that safety was over everyone except Cody and Jess did his bidding right up until tonight. Plus he looked like a damn fool cheering himself on during the comp. Josh, what more do you need...your ride of die won't even commit to taking you to the finals and Paul managed to make you do Alex's actual eviction by forcing a tie. So Alex gets shafted with but a single questions (naturallly about Paul) and gets no goodbye videos...all so we can spend five minutes examining in detail how Paul feels about his comic book cover. Please, please do not bring in Dr. Will to smooth out the jury for two reasons...first the guy is played out...his win was nearly 20 years ago....its time to let go of him and second I WANT a bitter jury to redeem the whole season....because what makes me sad is if we don't get that we will have Alex going to the key box...placing her key in for Paul and saying what a great game he played....no! I want bitterness...I want him defeated at the threshold once again! One last thing about Alex....Cody was SEARCHING for ways to work with her....she picked the wrong horse in Paul. I think Cody would have stuck with her because he did have some sort of thing for her. Please, please let's see jury footage tommorow of Jason being in disbelief that Alex didn't avenge his ouster when she had the chance. Pauls diary room about letting Alex go was the fakiest fake that ever faked! Tommorow night will be a thing of beauty if we see Paul backstab Christmas....I mean he has too right? If he wants to insure a goat being near him he has to keep Josh and Kevin in the game!
  4. It's simply too late to get Paul out of the house. If he was on the block tonight and the nomiations remained the same Christmas would never vote for him. If Kevin wins veto and Paul goes up in his place Christmas and Kevin will vote Alex out. Why they would want to take him to final two as there is no chance they would win against him will long remain a mystery of this season. I guess the producers hate these guys as much as a lot of people since they got gyped out getting their own comic covers. Anyone got whatever kryptonite does in FAMEWHORES because I'd open a whole case of it on the whole shameful bunch....and a double dose for Frankie Grande. Wow, what a season this has been that I now have to root for Josh to win!
  5. Christmas will do nothing against Paul...even if it lands her in second or third place.
  6. Anyone want to bet that Paul will be considered as a celebrity by CBS....Frankie Grande too and probably DaVonne thrown in for good measure.
  7. One of the best episodes in a long time due to: Jason being shellshocked and storming out dissing even his ride or die Alex Alex scrambling at the door pleading she didnt do it. Josh blowing up Paul's game to Jason after it was too late. Man, Alex is dumb...Christmas was the one who ultimately sent out your ride or die but you don't put her up on the block Paul infuriated me more than he usually does...that a-hole lies like a psychopath....watching him running around spreading his lies. Don't say its just a game...there is something deeply dispicable about a manipulator like that. The end game is now clear if Paul discarded Raven....Josh is his goat and he's going to carrying him there all the way....unless Josh blows up his game which I am praying for. I checked out of THE REVENGERS when I saw Frankie Grande...why does CBS pander to that annoying insect? I am cringing at the idea of who CBS will consider a celeberty? Any celeb with any real juice is not going to seal themselves inside the BB House. How exactly would that help their careers to be not available for casting calls. I hope this doesn't mean BB OVER THE TOP is cancelled.
  8. It's good to know 5th graders can get work designing a veto competition. The whole thing seemed like one big excuse to show Alex getting knocked in her giant knockers. Not sure what was more pathetic...the preview for this sitcom that looks totally devoid of laughs or CBS forcing the houseguests to shill for it and act all enthused. And I have no idea who this guy is or why he would get a sitcom. Lord knows how many good pilots CBS passed over before picking that one. Unless its a timeslot hit behind BBT I call one and done on that one already. I'm starting to hate Christmas...Josh is finally starting to buy a clue but she is so drunk on the Paul Koolaid that she won't let his arguments drive home some sense. Worse yet I have to say that the Christmas we've seen all season is a Poser and that was likely the REAL Christmas we saw in the Red Room ball smashing, emasculating and generallly condescending in general. Who the hell does she think she is talking to Josh like that and I don't even like the pot and pan banging fool. Yeah, Kevin sure you will excercise free will....until Paul tells you not to. Hell at this point I want to see a Josh/Raven final two i order to watch the jury in agony over who to vote for. That might make the season all worth it in the end.
  9. Man I wish I could have been in the production control box to see the crestfallen look on Alison Grodner's face when her Tree of Temptation proved to be a resounding failure. Complete misfire ha! Will these idiots ever wake up and compare notes to figure out Paul has been playing them all? The season is salvagable if come the final episode despite all his machinations most likely Christmas refusing to bring him to a final two over Josh and everything would be for naught. That would make this slog all worth it! Christmas being handed HOH not once but twice....she should never have been allowed back after the injury. They could have saved her for next year and announced a triumphant return. Jason continues to find any excuse to lay his hands on Alex such as the roughhousing before the commercial where yet again he's scooping her up. LOL at his Rodeo Clown schtick completely falling flat when he faked passing out which obviously was suppose to get a laugh but was met with confused silence. Alex...oh Alex...you should have aligned with Cody when you had the chance...but nope you bought into Paul's Koolaid of taking you to the final two and that scenario is on life support.
  10. The other players went too far taking it beyond a game trying to sabatoge a potential future, solid relationship between Cody and Jess once they are both back in the real world.
  11. Now that was SEASON 1 in a nutshell and exactly why it got revamped. Especially taking America's ability to vote away since they voted out the most controversial characters first and left the producers nothing to work with but a house of boring dullards. The epitome of that was when I think Brittany was allowed to tell Josh? in a video link with Julie that people were lying to him and he just sat there smiling blandly and did nothing with the information.
  12. Julie was a bit infuriating tonight...does she not realize what bad form it is to bring up the penalty vote and not tell what he DID? And who in the world told her it would be a good idea to show up with Pom Poms attached to her wrists. Lastlly you could see she was trying to make the best of interviewing a big lump of clay like Matt and was indcredulous he would throw away a half million for a roll in the hay. Matt was describing Raven's game play from some alternate universe. Ha! Where was this Kevin and Matt with fire in their bellies the entire summer? Oh, that's right....they don't have Cody and Jess taking fire to hide behind so they actively have to get involved in the actual game Speaking of Cody...I truly love how he despises these people and doesn't pretend that everything is cool, let's be friends, its only a game. With that said it will be painful to watch him put Paul's key in the box to win because there simply will be no other choice because nobody will play for themselves. Also love how Josh has no idea Christmas is playing him like a sock puppet in order to insure she's up against a goat on the chance that it's her sitting next to him on finale night instead of Paul. I so loved Alex in June now...she's just so pitiful that she is aping Paul by wearing a stupid rubber duck...her running to put it on coming back from commercial break was just pathetic. It will be grand moment when she gets on the block and realized Paul is doing nothing to save her.
  13. PLease elaborate onthe spinning.
  14. I have no love for Kevin but I was so happy to FINALLY see Paul not get his way and MOB RULE fail to work for once! If Jason were smart he would ditch Alex and team up with Kevin. I hope Josh gets a clue form the final seconds of the episode where Alex was apparently ordering him out of the storage room so she and Jason could confer with Paul. Maybe that will make Josh further suspicous of Paul and maybe we can get some momentum to get the bearded blowhard out of the house. Kevin in the mirror was just the worst kind of filler. Jason has no one to blame but himself if he got a "dirty shirt" out of this week. Alex was begging him to let her have the HOH. Maybe he should have dropped out of that hot dog bun. Cowboys don't lie? Huh? I heard that about Vulcans but never about cowboys.
  15. That....rant....was....awesome Dewy Decimate and 100% accurate!!
  16. You heard right. This guy isn't as above board as he's presented to be. Of course he 's getting physical with a hot girl like Alex after he couldn't go near Christmas after being involved in her injury. He may have put a bun in the oven but this baker isn't quite ready to hang up his apron it seems.
  17. It's amazing that the entire house can be so snowed by Paul and yet Josh of all people ALMOST seems to be getting a clue but he and Christmas will do nothing about it until its too late. Josh also hit the head of the nail about Matt showing up to play after 60 days....Matt truly was like a little bitch during the comp. I wonder if Holly dropped "the good wife" act at home when she saw how comfortable Jason is constantly laying his hands, throwing her over his shoulder and generally manhandling the scantily clad Alex. He gets a double deduction doing it with just a towel on. At one point it appeared as if he did a full frontal adjusting his towel in front of her. I thought that was why she was nearly collapsing to the ground. Raven mumbling and talking in tongues must be some sort of act as she talked normal throughout the episode. For the first time this season Paul mad me laughed when he ticked off Raven's story ending with her mom being lighteng proof. That was pretty funny.
  18. Mark seemed extra evasive under Julie's questioning about Elena....he deflected into a unrelated tangent when Julie asked him point blank about her. Very strange...oh, well maybe he was down playing it so he could be available to get with Dominique when he gets out. Without Jess and Cody useless filler gets pulled off the bench such as running around in giant inflatable ducks...I thought maybe just maybe the segement would lead to something such as them pausing to witness the Eclipse as they were in the back yard but nope...straight up filler...as is a visit back to Jason's ranch. I'm sorry but I simply don't care but it was worth one thing....just to prove that its an unfair world that a tool like Jason has a hot wife. How does she feel about Christmas straddling him resulting in the foot injury from hell? That might have redeemed that worthless segment. Josh and Christmas cuddling in the hammock?! Last episode he was saying she was like a "big sister"....ah...no...not after that hammock shot...but I didn't believe it before then either. Paul most be contractually obligatd by CBS to spread false alternate vote narratives in the diary room such as saying maybe they won't vote Mark out. Most laughable moment was the top of the hour when Julie said a large group was controlling the house....if you mean a large group that consists of a party of one named Paul than yeah, that intro was spot on. Of course Paul is wearing a tutu....when you are a card carrying douche its a requirement.
  19. The Christmas Song Zing was the best because all these weeks its bothered me seeing Jason carry on like he has no care in the world and he's partially responsible for the long road Christmas has ahead and any permanent damage. If that had been me...I don't think I could look her in the eye let alone carry on like nothing ever happened. Okay, I've slagged Jason now Christmas herself. Not sure why she felt a need to lie to US in the diary room. IT's clear she picked Raven hoping that would increase Mark's chances to win so she would be able to justify putting up someone else. And in the end she was stupid not to listen to Mark about Alex but the answer was clear to her question before the commercial break. Why wouldn't we take a shot at getting Alex out now insteaad of later....the answer is painfully simple....PAUL WOULDN"T LIKE IT....and everyone lives to please Paul as we know. Even Matt knows he's a dud...and I wanted to hear what was said about Alex. Speaking of which it amazed myself that I was rooting for her to go on the block. That was unthinkable for me for the first few weeks as she was my favorite. I wanted her and Cody to work together but she lost me when instead of recognizing Paul as a threat she teamed up with him. The sad part about finale night will be some dummy will probably have a chance to take someone else but they will choose Paul and he wins after everyone who puts there key in the box sings his praises in code of "Best Player" or I'm voting for who "Deserves to win" Maybe six months later they will wake up and realize they might have had a half million dollars if they'd gotten rid of him at the first available opportunity. The show is adrift without Cody. I sure miss him and even Jess too. At least they were interesting as opposed to blank slates like Matt and Raven.
  20. Can't help but notice the precipitous drop of activity on the board here. My theory comes down to two words..... NO CODY. Like him or hate him he drove the storyline between his showmance with Jess and his battle as the only one not under the sway of Jim Jones aka Paul. Things are...as I predicted...markedly less exciting without him when you are left with a group of dullard to work with like Jason, Matt and Raven.
  21. I never miss BIG BROTHER but I skipped Friday to avoid Derrick but then I tune in tonight to find him still there. Go figure. Though I do find it amusing that Derrick was helping tank Kevin's game by proxy just for having bumped into him at Quincy Market (went their on a school trip in 1984 and still mad I didn't get that seafood salad sandwich that was for sale there! It looked so good but too expensive!) Tonight I actually laughed out loud at Josh fantasizing about making final 2. The only way he gets there is being the goat of all goats. How frightening is it thought that Christmas is going to him for counsel? Big sister ....right Josh....I'm sure her smoking good looks and rock hard body have nothing to do with him being attached to her hip. Honestly I don't give a damn about Jason and his family. Academy Awards should go to the houseguests for their display of joy at the news. People really don't get that excited and emotional about other people pregnancy news do they? I know I've had to fake it a time or two and I have to believe they were too. Step off and die Paul....you have not had to work hard. Alison Grodner protected you for nearly a month and after that you had your desciphles following you around. Can everyone one of the couples compare notes please and find out he's playing them all? Also though the Save a Friend was used on Paul tongiht....I believe in my heart that it and the other rewards were all desgined to save Paul at some point down the road by production. I'm sure they were "pissed" it got squandered when it wasn't needed. Lastly I don't understand Christmas and all those like her in past seasons that expend all this effort to get rid of someone like Mark who has NO POWER. Why bother with him now. Blow Jason out of the water this week.
  22. Didn't you see the Derrick season? Hands down the most boring BB season ever. It was almost like one of CBS's police procedurals....it was so by rote that it wasn't funny and Derrick was calling every shot and not once did any of his sheeple put him on the block.
  23. Oooohhh the survivor of the first eviction of the night went home! I'm shocked I tell you shocked! Right. Sorry Julie you can try and gin up all the suspense you want but it was a forgone conclusion. Even if Mark hadn't won POV she would surley have left. Jason these people aren't going to want to hang with you after it's over...your a big ol' Texas sized tool. Paul: Congratulations on suriving Double Eviction.! Please....no one in that room was in any jepordy but Mark. Mark: I'll see you soon. No truer words were ever spoken. Loved Cody's exit over the table and not saying good bye. It' s so refreshing to find someone that isn't going to pretend all will be peaches and cream after the game. Love him or hate him Cody was simply the BEST casting find of the season. He made the summer up to this point with his honesty and not drinking Paul's Koolaid from the very first night. Cody and Jess either need an ALL STARS appearance or THE AMAZING RACE...I wouldn't let go of them CBS. Derrick UGH!! I HATE Derrick for ruining and entire season. He was like Paul having a stranglehold on the game that year but unlike Paul he didn't bring even the remotest bit of personality or entertainment...he was super boring as he soldiered along to his enevitable win. Why does he have to come back. He was tolerable on the OJ SIMPSON special he hosted though. The only thing fun to look forward to now is after Mark is dispensed with is seeing how Paul will RETCON Matt and Raven into being super-genious evil masterminds who were controlling they game all along and THEY MUST GO!
  24. Since it can't be said enough...Elena sure was dumb to give up the VETO when she's on the block! I'm mean there is dumb and then there is dumb! It was SO GREAT to see Alex and Cody interacting again. I really wish they could indeed team up but Paul has such a stranglehold on her she probably doesn't even realize it. Why would she even want to go to the end with him? All the sheeple will only vote for him to win the half a million. Anyway after so many years I 'm onto their tricks...splicing in bits like "Maybe Matt won't use the veto" or ""Maybe Alex will work with Cody" all teasing to generate false suspense. Are Mark and Elena not a couple anymore? His plan not to use the Veto if he won would have put Elena in extreme (no pun intended) jeapordy of going home if Cody was not up there. Who knows...maybe he's realized he should have showmanced Dominique instead...they seemed to really like each other during her time there. I wish they would phase out the silly costumes....its just so dumb. BB is already as far away from Emmy territory that you can get....stupid get ups does nothing to improve its image. Screw BB and its fascination with certain characters like Johnny Mac. I would be quite happy never to hear that man-child's name mentioned again. Losing Jess was a blow story wise now that they have time to fill up without that saga they have to turn to non-entities like Kevin to do so. Even now though they can't muster up enough enthusiams to give Raven any airtime. For heck's sake couldn't we even get a reaction to her boyfriend not taking her to the steak dinner? Speaking of which Paul should have been made to stand there behind Christmas being tantalized by the steak and not being able to have any. Upcoming Double Episode= NON-event. It always does. Even if Cody survives the first eviction when the new HOH takes power....during the commercial break they will run to Paul and he will tell them to put up Cody. If Cody is not available then it will be Mark. There is not going to be any suspense or drama....unless by a miracle Cody is not voted out first and becomes the HOH....he should instantly put Paul on the block against someone no one is willing to sacrifice....Matt maybe.
  25. I guess I am in the minority but I don't care for him and can't imagine him as a fan favorite. What has he really done all summer? Nothing. On the rare times he is seen he is a walking cliche and his attempt to strategize at the mid point in the game was laughable. Plus it all just seems a little odd a man of his age going into the house with all these nubile young women. He's like a remanent of the early years of BIG BROTHER where you would find regular looking Joe's of every age such as...what was his name from season 2 Brent? He's very out of place in this season. Not sure what it was but I felt a lump in my throat at the very last scene of Cody walking alone in front of the wall of houseguests. It must be very difficult to basically be alone and ostracized in the house. I was hoping he's pick up with that interesting relationship with Alex from the early episodes but we saw them not interact at all.
