The arrows don’t look that deeply set, no organ damage, and bison will be fairly thick skinned. I think its chances are good.

    Agreed. Also, it's a stunt bison. 😁

  2. Royal seems to be treating The Hole as some kind of temporal garbage disposal.

Oops, it sent Trevor back. I was half expecting his belt buckle to clatter down on top of him.

If the little girl was on or near the mountain when it vanished, why didn't she notice? I assume Trevor reappeared after that.

At the very least, I can't tell you that I'm not worried about what Sherri might do if she has time alone with the children while facing serious charges and a very public outlash.

So true. Once someone does the utterly bizarre and harmful things that she did, I don't think there's anything you wouldn't put past them.

Can you imagine what it must be like eating with Travis & Kourtney? That's probably  the whole attraction between them, the ridiculous why they eat.

I actually watched a video about what he supposedly eats in a day. Of course it included some supplements he sells, plus a lot of fancy, prepared vegan dishes and various trendy drinks like kombucha. I guess you can follow his special diet if money is no object and you have people who can buy and prepare everything, or order from upscale vegan restaurants which apparently are easy to find in California.

I think a Travis/Kourtney couple would be terrifying to share a meal with. The rigid control and self-righteousness would be so exhausting. I would if their children will have food issues, like orthorexia. I'll bet they don't get much comfort food.

I wonder if after all the health food, Travis still drinks or does drugs. Honestly, I don't find him that healthy looking, but on the other hand, I guess you need enormous stamina to be a drummer, so maybe he's in better shape than he looks.

  5. Somehow I never heard of Sherri till now. What an utterly baffling crime! I can see why some people think she's mentally ill, because it's barely believable that someone would go through all that physical torture, and for what? A few thousand dollars? Some attention? There's just so much about this story that makes no sense.

she won’t see the red flags until she’s married to the guy and his behavior becomes more controlling and dark.

Does he have a past pattern of this kind of behaviour? I know nothing about him, other than he has a million tattoos, eats an incredibly strict diet and used to be married to the woman I just watched on Celebrity BB.

I hope to never see Summer again. No class and so bitter.

I've mostly enjoyed Summer this season, even though I could never figure out who she really was. I found her funny and lighthearted. BUT tonight she was awful. Bitter, angry and petty, leaving without speaking to anyone. Disappointing.

  8. Betty wins something! Kevin self-evicts! MAGGOTS! What a great episode.

How on earth is Josh a doctor? He's SO emotional! Gino on the other hand is the perfect fireman. Literally nothing rattles him. But sweet how he calmly checked in with the DR, to alert them that something was wrong with Kevin. 😁

Kevin really is a great player. I like everybody really.

I've NEVER seen Taran laugh as much as he did in the recap of this episode.

    Ooh, thanks! I'll definitely watch!

ETA Holy cow, that really was crazy! I'll be really surprised if it doesn't backfire!

We've been talking embezzlers on the episode thread and it reminded me I've always wanted to see the true story about Brian Malony

Talk about great minds!! I just came over from the other thread to cite this exact case! Owning Mahowney is one of my favourite movies. It gives such insight into the mind of a gambling addict, and how the addiction can lead to embezzlement.

I'm probably fascinated by the topic because a close family member was a gambler, unbeknownst to any of us for several years, and the methods she used to embezzle thousands of dollars from our family would make a fantastic movie, or Dateline episode. (It involved faking cancer.)

I think Dateline should do a series on this type of thing. Why does it always have to be about murder?

Jonathan-holy crap he's amazing in the challenge.  Just not the ones where he has to balance puzzle pieces.  But seriously, who else can practically move a boulder on their own?

I don't watch Survivor for the challenges usually (unless they involve blindfolds) but watching this one was so entertaining, mainly due to Jonathan.

All I cared about was that Jonathan and MaryAnne survive to make the jury. So I'm happy. Apart from that, I had no clue what was happening at TC, or who was voting for who.

I feel like Jonathan and MaryAnne are sitting ducks now, unless Hai can successfully pull off his Strong Man alliance. (Does Hai really qualify to be in it though? He certainly has confidence.)

Tori is annoying but like lots here, I love her vast repertoire of facial expressions.

One of the best business practices is to *force* people to go on vacation periodically so that their work is then taken over by new people who can spot the accounting discrepancies

So true! This is how they caught the loan manager at our bank, who had embezzled thousands of dollars and who also was flaunting it, despite living in a mobile home. (I don't believe in revelling in anyone's misery, but I felt some vindication after her conviction, because of how rudely she dismissed our loan application, making us feel like she was so much better than us.)

Dateline doesn't focus much if at all on embezzlers, unless murder is involved, but they can be pretty fascinating. The psychology of how and why they do it especially interests me.

I would watch this weekly for the entire year and not get bored.  It was so well done!

I have to agree. I actually found myself wishing they'd do other famous murders, and wondering which ones would and wouldn't be suited to this to brand of satire.

    What followup show?

  14. I figure that if you stab a completely unsuspecting person out of the blue, strength wouldn't matter too much. They wouldn't have time to defend themselves.

As for her dragging the body outside... I don't know how or why she would do that. It would be incredibly difficult.
