Ohh - I should watch Doctor Who with closed captioning on, now that I've learned that trick by the good folk here.

Forgive me if I'm remembering this incorrectly, BUT, in the book I seem to remember she was in his lap in that scene, and he had a physical 'reaction' that left little doubt that he was attracted, er aroused, by her. Even in the show, after she pulls away from him, she gives a glance downward.

I'm not quite understanding the footsie scene. Looks like Jamie touched Claire's foot to try to get her to stop teasing - right? Then did she kick him or something with her other foot that made him jump? I've replayed it several times - hhmmrphh.

Ron and Terry mentioned they should actually watch the episode before recording the podcasts - I hope this doesn't mean she's going to be a recurring guest. For some reason, I was amused by the clinking ice in their glasses as they drank their adult beverages. I, too, wanted to hear Ron's take on the on the hall scenes. I have never watched ANY show over and over and over again like I'm doing with this series! During the podcast my eyes are on Jamie almost exclusively. Someone said this show has turned them into a 14 year old girl again - my sentiments exactly!

I'm new to listening to podcasts. I took someone's suggestion to watch the episode with the sound muted while Ron's talking about it. Loved the first one and hearing how/why he did certain things. While I enjoyed hearing a little about the costuming, I really missed his detailed commentary - Terry was distracting. Might be just me. Currently re-reading the entire series (currently immersed in "Fiery Cross") and I am LOVING this show!
