    What's a zebra cake??

It's part of the Little Debbie snackcake line, the road to Hell is paved with Little Debbie cakes and brownies.

At least Rose is honest about her eating habit.

Poor daughter-in-law Sam almost hurled with Rose saying she would eat doggy doo-doo if Dr. Now told her to so she could lose weight.

Okay, I missed it. Who are her travel companions? What relation?

Stepson RJ and Daughter-in-law Sam, she lives with husband Russell, and grandson Nathan, and the baby.

She has to be over 700.  She has a good attitude, I hope she's another success story.  We've had three successes so far, and one total train wreck this season, and I hope she is a success.

Month 1-564 lbs.   She must be short.   I thought she was heavier, but with her breathing and other issues, she's a bad surgical risk.

Had to get the door - did y'all know that walmart delivers moving supplies? Cheaper than U-haul. I don't even have to leave the house. Since they also deliver my groceries, with luck, I won't have to leave until I move. 😄

    Worth the move?

    Definitely worth it!

I get the 58 gallon Sterilite plastic containers, they're easy to move, water proof and cheap, and stack well for my moves, easy to label with a room number too, so easy to place them in the right room.

I believe her breakfast was a big of Doritos, whatever flavor is in the blue bag.

The portions on their plates!! Holy crap people. Even the toddler had enough for a grown up.

The idea of passing bad nutrition and setting kids up for terrible health issues apparently never dawns on anyone on this show.

(I watch the last 15 minutes as soon as 600 lb endes, and watch it and Last Chance Kitchen tomorrow morning on either the Bravo site, or my Spectrum on Demand.

RJ and San are taking her to Dr. Now's.  I think the Deliverance banjo music isn't a nice soundtrack for this.   Stopping after two hours on the road.   That was a great idea, the son RJ, had ramps to get the electric wheelchair in and out of the van.

Dr. Now's office is a 10 hour drive.  Rose actually says thank you, that's refreshing.

  6. Rose Perrine  Age: 58,  From: Jonesboro, AR

Her legs look so painful.   Stepson RJ, and daughter-in-law Sam, share a room with her, because she's such a fall hazard.    She's also living with her grandson Nathan, and his girlfriend, and Rose's husband (the caption said husband) Russell.

Sam, the daughter-in-law makes a huge skillet full of scrambled eggs with cheese, a pile of sausage patties, a stack of toast. Must be 5,000 calories at least.

Her trauma was her mother married a stepdad when she was four, and then her mom died, and stepdad went to prison, and Rose was depressed.  At 13 or 14 she weighed 250 lbs.   She joined high school ROTC, and lost weight then.   Russell was her boyfriend in high school, she broke up with him and married Jesse, her son's dad.  Then, divorced after seven years.    Then, she met Ray, and got married quickly, stayed married for 15 years and divorced.

Then, she went to her 20th ROTC reunion, and reconnected with Russell, and now they live together.  Russell drives 18 wheelers, and she road with him, and went of cruises.  They married, and still are.

Family Drama Fallout! ; Taxi Company Start-Up Mom

Deadbeat Gambling Baby Daddy?!-Plaintiff mother Sarah Lopez accuses defendant/ex Robert Lewis of gambling away money intended for their food and medication, and is suing for a water bill, medical costs and unpaid rent.    Plaintiff claims ex lost the money at the poker table, but claims even though he's bad financially, he's still a good father, so she had another kid with him.      Defendant is a plumber, files tax returns, and has a checking account.    Defendant was living with plaintiff for almost 10 years, and have two kids together.

Plaintiff is a nurse on maternity leave (with the two month old), and also has a five year old.    She claims she only got $80 of child support, has a court order for child support, but gets no money, didn't get support in 2013 and 2014, and now gets government assistance.

Plaintiff says the defendant agreed to move into an apartment together, and claims defendant didn't pay his half of the rent, and utilities.       The two had a written agreement, and she had another kid with him, in spite of the fighting.

Plaintiff is told by JJ to get a child support order, and garnish his wages.  Plaintiff gets nothing for back rent, or anything else.

Detained by Immigration-Plaintiff Weston Lymangrover  suing defendant /former roommate Julio Gonzalez for unpaid bills, and punitive damages.  Defendant claims he was wrongfully detained for two months by immigration authorities, he's a permanent resident/Green Card holder.   Defendant claims the plaintiff sent nasty videos to his girlfriend, and when asked if the girlfriend is there to testify, he says "which one"?   Multiple girlfriends?

Defendant was taken into custody for two months, in spite of the fact that defendant is a legal resident, but plaintiff covered some bills for the defendant.  Room was sublet by plaintiff after defendant being gone a month. Defendant didn't pay rent for one month, so other tenants split and paid for the rent.

    Defendant's harassment claim is ridiculous.

Plaintiff gets over $130 for rent and bills, plus $91 for back utilities, total of $221.

  8. It was hard to watch the first case about the matted dogs.   Mats like that are so painful, and can even tear the skin.   Dematting is not always painless either.   The only mistake the groomers made was letting the dogs leave the shop without the owner paying.

    Too Hot to Handle

    New, Season 10, Episode

    (Trovoyum Branson vs. Pashyon Jackson)

From the show site: A protective mother sues a salon owner after her daughter suffered second degree burns. The daughter wanted box braids for her senior year, but she ended up with an unsightly welt on her neck, which ruined her confidence on picture day. Does that warrant her emotional distress claim?

Plaintiff is suing on behalf of her daughter Daijah Brent-Branson.  Daughter says she was burned by hot water at the salon, when her hair ends were dipped in hot water.   Plaintiff mother says daughter's skin blistered, and was very painful, and she's suing for $5,000 for daughter's pain and suffering.  Defendant was contacted by plaintiff mother, asked for photos of the burn, but never received anything from plaintiff mother.

Cortnie Quanae  was the hairdresser at defendant's salon, says daughter was hit by water from her braids, not the electric kettle.    Cortnie also says skin was red, but not blistered, or darker red.   Plaintiff mother wasn't at the salon, but takes over for daughter every time.   Payment was $125, after a deposit from the mother.   Defendant Passion (Pashyon) Jackson didn't take the daughter's payment, since mother did the initial deposit, and defendant expected the mother to pay the remaining amount.

Salon owner and stylist claim plaintiff daughter bent forward, and threw hot water on herself.  Stylist points out that she would have burned also if it was from the kettle, and stylist wasn't burned.  Salon owner was watching when the dipping happened, and says plaintiff daughter moved forward.

Salon owner and stylist claim this didn't happen to either of them before.

Corriero wants to know if salon owner contacted their insurance company (her salon manager is her mother Sayvona Jackson), and the answer is no, there was no evidence to send to the insurance company, because plaintiff mother refused to give photos or proof.  Plaintiff mother wants $5,000 because her daughter was embarassed to go to school with the burn.

Decision is $2,500 to plaintiff daughter.

  11. I'm not sure that these are really vacation rental homes.   There have only been a few that anyone found online for rent, and they didn't have the features that were put in to make the rental attractive.   The Quilt house, the Sunflower house, and the carriage house with the equestrian theme were actually rentals, but without the themes still at the property.     I bet a lot are simply family homes.

  12. I don't understand how the Italy project is going to work.   The owners want to run the cheese business out of the cheese store, right next to the house that they want to do vacation rentals for?    That doesn't sound possible.  And they're obsessed with doing wine storage in holes in the walls, when they don't even have a kitchen, and they're months behind.

What is the point of putting holes in the wall to hold wine bottles, and they're ten feet off the ground?

At this point, I'm only watching some episodes to see what they're wasting time and money on.

  13. After seeing the cast on Season 1, the fact that you already broke up isn't a requirement to appear on the couples therapy version of this, and you also don't have to be anyone that the viewers really want to see either.

    Suspicious Sale

    New, Season 10, Episode

(Karen Lovely [executor for the late Tracy Bettencourt) vs.  Shawn Donovan)

From the show site: A woman comes to court on behalf of her deceased friend, who bought a car from her handyman but never received the title. The handyman claims she still owed three grand on it. But the plaintiff shows that her friend had inherited half a million dollars, so that story doesn't add up.

Defendant didn't have the title, and therefore didn't have the right to sell the car to the late Bettancourt, and plaintiff is the executor.  Defendant claims he sold Ms. Tracy  Bettencourt the car for $15000, and still owes $3,000, and he doesn't have the money to pay the lien holder off, and to get the title.   (I don't see how much money the late Ms. Bettencourt had, I've known people that were rich, and were also cheated people, and didn't pay bills.)

Plaintiff claims her friend paid $10,000 for the car to defendant, and was supposed to get the title.    Juarez wants to know why the $10,000 didn't pay off the lien on the car, and car originally belonged to his late mother.

Defendant believes that he had $1 million dollars in gold being delivered soon.

Plaintiff claims her late friend had over $200,000 in the bank, and could easily have paid defendant if she actually owed him the $3,000.

Bill of Sale Ms. Bettencourt had wasn't enough to get a title and registration on the car, the title was in the name of defendant's late parents, and defendant never disclosed there was a lien on the car.   Another company has the lien, and car is being repossessed by the company that holds the title to the car.

There are a number of title defects, and the lien holder owns the legal title to the car.  I'm not sure if car has physically been taken by the lien holder or not.

Judge Juarez says the defendant's sale of the car was a scam.  Corriero and Tewolde take the plaintiff's side.

Titlle to plaintiff, and a full refund of the scam sale price, $5,000.   Judges are ordering the car is plaintiff's, but that may not have any weight with the lien holder.

  15. My guess is that the open shelves outside won't be used, you'll be expected to drag dishes and other items outside for meals.    Open shelves outside, and all of the extra stuff will probably be removed before the houses are up for sale.

  16. One huge reason for the open shelves, or glass doors on cabinets is for short term renters to be able to find the dishes, etc. easily (This is from Scott on Vacation House Rules).       I doubt any of the homes on this series are going to be the owners or long term renters, so open shelves with very regular cleaning crews make sense.   I'm hoping the cleaning crews will also put everything inside when the hurricane comes close, but I've read that everything is removed from the homes before sale, so there probably won't be anything movable left.

  17. So preheat challenge, macarons that are made into a corsage.

Rochelle's corsage looks like a burger, sinking in a bowl of icing.   Some looked spectacular, but like piles of macarons, and none looked like a corsage to me.  There doesn't seem to be anything in the middle, either the baker succeeded or failed totally.   I don't think Anna's look like a corsage either, but Anna won.

Then, the one I'm looking forward to, the prom dress tsunami cakes. I love Nickey's cake with the blackout chocolate, Robert's is gorgeous, but the glaze didn't flow as well as it should.   Steven's is gorgeous.  Katelyn's apparently tasted great, but it was too one note with all of the red for me.  Anna's didn't flow well either, it's way too thick, and not enough flavor.     Alex's looks fantastic and really looks like a confetti cake.  Rochelle's is so plain on the skirt, and the tsunami effect makes up for it.  Rochelle wins the round.

Steven and Anna are on the bottom.  Anna goes home.

    4 p.m. episodes-

Dreadlocks Discrimination? -Plaintiff filmmaker, Jonathan Moore and his girlfriend Jazmyn Winder accuse former landlord Robin Desta of discrimination, and deny charges of a party fire burning the property.    Plaintiffs stopped paying rent, never paid the electric bill, but claim they couldn't find anywhere to move to with their children.    Plaintiffs claim landlady stole their electricity, no I'm not kidding about that.  Apartment was rented through housing program, and plaintiffs claim they always paid the rent, and plaintiffs want their half of the rent back.

Discrimination charge is man claiming landlady was prejudiced against him, but yet she rented to him after she met him.   Harassment charge is that their two kids were the focus of complaints to CPS.    Plaintiffs have two kids with them, another on the way, he has one with that lives with the child's mother, she has a kid who lives full time with some other relative.

Stolen electricity charge from plaintiffs (yes, I know it's a pun, but I don't care) is because there was bad wiring between plaintiff's rear unit, and the garage (used by landlady as storage).    Previous electric bill was over $500, and monthly electric bill was not big at all.   However, since plaintiff's never paid the electric bill it eventually was $800+.

Plaintiff woman claims they had to wait for city to find them other housing to move.  Rent was $1400 a month, and charity paid a majority of the rent for them.   Current apartment rent is $1400, and plaintiffs claim they pay the rent themselves.

Landlady says there was another full-time tenant, that was an illegal sublease.  Plaintiff man claims that was his brother who was babysitting.    Why does every deadbeat tenant make big holes in the wall?   Landlady says a fire set by the tenants in the back yard set the garage on fire, but plaintiffs claim landlady did it.   Landlady gets nothing for the garage, because garage was already in bad shape, and needed work.   I would have given landlady money for the garage that was burned by tenants.

I don't understand how a charity moved the plaintiffs in to what they claim was a substandard home, when the charity had to find houseing for them.

Cases dismissed.    Nothing for the plaintiffs.

    5 p.m. episodes-

Extreme Bullying and Life-Threatening Texts?!-Plaintiff/ex-girlfriend Monique Butlersuing defendant/former boyfriend Vincent Jackson for assault, property left behind when she moved, and moving fees.  Plaintiff is ex-live in girlfriend of defendant in his Las Vegas home.    Plaintiff alleges threatening texts by man, and she fled in fear of her life.  Defendant claims the plaintiff's 10-year-old son repeatedly punched his 7-year-old daughter.

There were six kids in this mess, two in the  house, three for plaintiff, and each has a child living with the other parent full time.  Plaintiff moved out leaving property (she lives in San Francisco now), and wants her beds and TVs back, but defendant says he bought the beds, and there we no TVs.     Defendant says she only left her clothes, and the kids clothes, but she never picked them up after repeated phone calls. So, defendant eventually trashed the clothes.

Plaintiff never sent her children to school for the four months that she lived with defendant.  and they still aren't in school months after leaving defendant's house.     Defendant says his little girl finally told him about the plaintiff's son's physical assaults, and says the 10 year old was bullying his son, and when it was discovered, he told plaintiff to leave.

After defendant told plaintiff and her kids to leave, he claims the 10-year-old was coming over to his house, and trying to break in.    The kid with the plaintiff in court has a real issue with self control, and I'm surprised JJ didn't boot the kid.     (By the way, I've ordered replacement birth certificates, and received them in a week, so keeping the kids out of school for months because they don't have birth certificates is ridiculous.)   I hope the school authorities where the plaintiff is living now noted that her children aren't in school for months at a time.

    Case dismissed.
